In search of the finest produce for his seasonal pies, William Axel finds more than he bargained for when he returns to home to his childhood town.
Looking to procure the ingredients for his pies for his restaurant chain, William visits Heart's Pumpkin Patch, the renowned home of the best pumpkins he has ever tasted.
Hoping to strike a business deal with the owner he discovers that the old man who owned the company has since passed away, leaving his son the business. William finds more treats than anticipated in the form of the young, but sexy Jared Heart, heir to the business.
Rosina Scott lives in a small Lincolnshire village in the United Kingdom. She has been writing fiction for as long as she can remember and has had a lifelong dream to be a published author. Her genres have been numerous over the years, but she has recently found her niche in sensual male homoerotica.
Rosina has an extremely kinky side and loves seeing hot men in all manner of situations involving the more unusual of pastimes, which shines through in her work as she writes fiction with a strong element of kink and an underlying tenderness.
What starts out as a simple trip is not only difficult because of what's under the surface for William, but also surprising because he finds so much more than the pumpkins and the potential new business partner he is looking for. It's a good thing the younger Mr. Heart has taken over the family business...
William is on a "supply run" for Halloween, and he's decided to go back to his old home town to find what he's looking for. it's hard for him, because he lost both his parents, and he doesn't really want to be reminded of their absence. But the need to supply his store with the best produce means he has to go back to Heart's Pumpkin Patch.
Business is quickly concluded and the true Halloween celebrations can begin. Their encounter turns quite passionate, and it looks to me as if this may be the beginning to a much deeper relationship than originally intended.
If you like stories about strangers having a "roll in the hay", if you enjoy reading about strangers becoming fast friends, and if you're looking for a fun, decidedly hot Halloween-themed read, then you will probably like this short story.

There's a certain exhilaration about being on a pumpkin farm on a cool, bright day, surrounded by orange pumpkins for sale in the shops or farm stands or straight from the fields. When William Axel visits the farm with a business proposition, he's not entertaining the offer he receives.
William goes to the pumpkin farm to buy what he considers to be the best pumpkins around, for his restaurant business; he also has an offer for a combined sales venture. It's a nostalgic venture which reminds him of happier days when he and his family, who are now long gone, lived near the farm. William learns that the owner, William Heart, has recently passed away and that his grandson, Jarod, is now in charge. William is totally enthralled with the man at first sight and the business venture is overridden by the obvious desire between them.
Jarod is an intriguing young man with a great sense of humor. He's attracted to William as well and, upon realizing that William is gay, is not shy about demonstrating just how interested he is. William is pleasantly surprised by Jarod's passion and certainly isn't going to turn down what promises to be one of the hottest roll in the hay ever.
This is an endearing seasonal story about two very hot young men who find not only lust, but a sense of belonging in each other. I recommend this story to those who like pumpkins, fall, handsome men, and steamy sex. Thanks, Rosina! Happy Halloween!

This is a very short seasonal story, not creepy or haunting, rather a romantic erotica.
