Cringing at that word..

SEAL Under Covers is the third installment of the SEAL Brotherhood series. In it, you will meet Armando and Gina. They were a cute couple, I guess, but this book had so much creepiness in it. Whether it was Sam.. or it was Sam. The guys was just straight up psycho and needed to go.

The romance was good but the stalking and the whole do I trust you or not was a bit frustrating. Sam, again, was just completely creepy. I was not for the whole drugging Gina and trying to rape her thing. Pretty sure he raped her and I was not a fan of that. Then there's Armando and he was just beyond frustrating. It's like he was butt hurt so quickly when it came to Gina.

You know.. if people actually talked to one another then people wouldn't be so sensitive to shit. Mostly because Armando is an idiot and would rather take someone else's word than asking Gina herself. Men are idiots and that's all I have to say about that.

Overall, Sam creeped me out and I still cringed at the word nob. Every time I write "nob" I want to write "knob" but then I think why "nob" when you can say "nub" and then I'm cringing all over again.

Send help.

Armando Guzman is a Navy SEAL who has just returned from Afghanistan. When he gets home he has found his sister, Mia, is mixed up with a San Diego drug gang. He is always looking out for his sister so he is determined to get her away from the gang. When he meets his sister's friend, Gina, he is also determined to get to know her better - way better.

Gina Mancuso is working undercover for the SDPD but, of course, Mia and Armando do not know about this. She is immediately attracted to Armando and sparks fly. Gina is stalked by her ex, Sam, who is also a cop but really bad news.

Hamilton writes a great suspense story with undercover police, SEALS and drug gangs and has clearly done a lot of research on SEAL training and procedures. I didn't know that she wrote erotica and I didn't really like those parts.

This series started with Armando bailing out his kid sister. She got kidnapped by her baby daddy. Now her past is catching up with everyone including Armando. Gina is trying to prove herself out in a man's world. She know she is capable however everything that could go wrong is going wrong in her first undercover operation. Her ex is being possessive and a stalker. Her targets brother is hot and she can't keep her hands off of him. What is a gal to do?

I love how these stories go and the author kicks ass in her story telling. I am on my way to another.

Armando doesn't disappoint!

Being the third book in the SEAL Brotherhood series hasn't stopped Sharon Hamilton from turning this read, much like the first two, into a fantastic read filled with heat, passion, mystery and a little action to boot!

I love the interaction between the men in the brotherhood which definitely holds some humor. These reads have definitely pulled out the "oooh's" and "ahhh's" out of me as I continuously turned the pages.

This is the third in a series. I picked this up for free on Amazon and I really enjoyed it. I am not sure I would spend the money. I have read the first and second of the series. I am happy to see the author's evolution in her writing. It seems to be getting much better. The story is down and dirty gritty, but believable.

ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars

SEAL Under Covers is book 3 in the SEAL Brotherhood series by Sharon Hamilton and continuing with SEAL team 3.

Up next is Armando Guzman and Gina Mancuso, undercover cop. Armando is back from deployment only to find his sister Mia, still making wrong decisions, now mixed up with a drug gang. He is determined to save her again except he gets hit between the eyes with her friend Gina.

Gina is trying to prove herself capable as an undercover cop, keep her ex at a distance and not explode the operation. What happens next will keep you guessing and turning the pages to see where it all ends…suspense, stalking, drugs, secrets, chemistry, and so much more…

I only gave this 2 stars because I was annoyed with the heroine. SPOILER ALERT - After numerous pages of her worrying that she would screw up her first undercover assignment as lead detective, she spent almost no time on her job. Instead she was busy having an affair with the SEAL brother of one of the main suspects. In real life this would have gotten her demoted or fired. The main problem I had with it was that she spent no time on the job - although she miraculously came up with a recording of the leader of the gang giving all the evidence they needed for arrests. There was also a secondary story line of her being stalked by another detective she slept with who was also part of the undercover job. Seriously? First she sleeps with a fellow detective - against policy - and then with the brother of a suspect? I think she needs to either re-think her career choice or try following department policies. This could have been a good story if more time had been spent on the plot, less on the sex scenes and the heroine grew a few brain cells.

We all say that a certain book is the best in the series; however Sharon Hamilton has definitely exceeded expectations with the latest in the SEAL Brotherhood – SEAL Under Covers.
This story for me displayed the true meaning of a Crime/Thriller with a healthy dose of sensual romance added to the mix.
I loved that Sharon exposed the edge of your seat, nail biting and more often than not frightening relationship between our heroine and a previous suitor, while striving to develop a sensual, compassionate and trusting relationship with our hero.
Everyone has demons and Armando and Gina are not strangers to the things that go bump in the night and can threaten everything you hold dear to your heart. But how do you overcome your individual inner demons, and conquer your resistance to trust, when your budding relationship is consumed by too many secrets.
This IS by far the BEST story of the series so far, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I borrowed the Ultimate SEAL Collection, Volume 1: SEAL Brotherhood (SEAL Brotherhood Boxed Set, Book 3) from the Kindle Unlimited Program and it contained SEAL Under Covers ~ SEAL Brotherhood ~ Book 3.

Navy SEAL Armando Guzman and Gina Mancuso, a San Diego Police Officer working undercover for the first time while trying to take down a drug gang, meet and are attracted to each other and the sparks start to fly. She can't tell him what she is doing and using his sister, Mia to get into the gang she is working to put into prison. She sets all of Armando's protective instincts on high alert, while trying to protect him and have him stand down so she can do her job.

Her ex-partner and ex-boyfriend has become her biggest problem as he tries to devalue her efforts in the operation, destroys evidence and gets crazy when he is found out and knows he can't have Gina. A very dramatic ending in SEAL Under Covers keeps the excitement going to the last page.

I so loved this book, this story was amazing, completely action packed, full of amazing characters and a great love story all crammed into one book. These two main characters Gina and Armando come from different backgrounds but cannot resist the intense chemistry between each other causing their worlds to collide and nonstop action throughout as their lies, jobs and deceptions catch up to them.

I enjoyed the writers easy writing style of seeing both sides of the story and gives such immense detail of emotions, past haunts and hopes for the future. Gina and Armando connect and come crashing together in hot sexual encounters that leave you all hot under the collar. The chemistry between these two in the bedroom and hero worship of each other's bodies doesn't leave much to the imagination as everything is described with so much intense passion, emotions are laid bare and you get drawn into a wonderful love story as Gina and Armando discover their passion and unknown love for each other and fight their way through a world of gangs, secrecy and unexpected twists of betrayal.

The supporting background characters offer excellent support, their personalities and great banter they share with each other. As well as their unwavering dedication and support throughout makes this a story full of laughter, adventure and super hot sexiness all rolled into one. I thoroughly enjoyed the first books of this series so couldn't wait for this next instalment and wasn't disappointed; this was as great as the others and still leaves you craving to read more.

I would highly recommend this book and series to anyone who loves a fantastic action packed, sexually charged romance with strong main characters who have immense chemistry and fabulous supporting back ground characters making this just a wonderful read.

Oh please… Armani and Gina… phew what heat! Armando Guzman makes me swoon. I knew Armando would be amazing but I was immediately drawn in to his smooth, relaxed approach when dealing with a Gina who keeps sending him confusing signals. Well, of course she’s hiding something… she’s undercover! Armando is very smooth and Gina is a perfect match for him. Readers/listeners will not be disappointed. Quite a bit of action but even more romance and pure ardour.

This review is based on my second time around with this book. I didn’t get to write a review on it the first time. This was due to the fact that from Book one, I was sucked into Sharon’s Navy Seal world and just couldn’t get enough.

J. D. Hart has nailed this Navy SEAL’s personality on the head. Madre mía, Sharon’s books should come with a “Health Warning” especially when J. D. Hart is narrating! J. D. never fails to create an atmosphere of build-up and suspense when narrating Sharon’s descriptive scene-setting paragraphs and when he is in character mode acting out the dialogue between Armani and Gina in this case, or previously with Coop and Libby; Kyle and Christie, BAM!, you’re feeling it EVERYWHERE! He is so good at delivering the feeling, the essence whether it be love, lust, fear or anger, he is so good at them ALL for both female and male characters.

This series just keeps getting better. I did however find it hard to accept that an active Mormon who won’t drink would curse like a “sailor” and have sex outside marriage. I know a lot of Mormons and it surprised me.

I’m ready for book 4 again although I’m having to psyche myself up because I remember book 4 made me cry a lot!!!

Wow, Sharon Hamilton does NOT disappoint! The third book in the series and I am revving up to read the next. Sharon has an amazing way of writing that leads you into the story and maintains the intrigue and suspense needed to keep you going. This story has Armando as being an amazing hero to his country but to his sister and 'girlfriend' as well. I firmly believe you can't go wrong with a Seal! Sharon not only adds hot, steamy sex but mystery, suspense, romance and love in to her stories. I love the fact that she even includes previous book characters into her current reads so that the other characters we fell in love with just don't disappear. If you love an author that maintains the characters, suspense, and brotherhood of our amazing country heroes this is the Series for you! Go buy it now!! I'm off to read Book 4..you should be too!

While I thoroughly enjoy reading about Seal Team 3 and their exploits however, I am still not impressed with any of the female lead characters! They are complete imbeciles who can't keep their legs closed! I honestly don't know if I'm more disturbed by how attractive these air-head women appear to the SEALs or just how many dumb decisions they seem to make overall. Gina should have been a strong female lead but instead, she couldn't make up her mind, do her job or stay away from toxic Sam...Armando knew she was holding back and lying to him, yet he still pursues her. For the love of money Ms. Hamilton, please give us a strong female lead who's not controlled by a man's libido. And please fire your editor! Good story concept with poor execution. 2.5 stars.

This is the 3rd book in the SEAL Brotherhood Series and they just keep getting better and better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the exciting action packed story, alongside the very hot sensual romantic one.

Armando is another gorgeous SEAL. Gina is a under cover cop, with issues. Their instant attraction is smouldering and their love scenes explosive, and quite touching at times.

I liked the way all the SEALs were involved one way or another and the interaction between them is very amusing to read.

I cant wait for the next instalment of this exciting series.

high octane action and drama

Great story. I liked Armando/Armani and his protective SEAL nature. It was not overly alpha that crossed the line into a-hole. He looked out for his sister Mia, even though Mia was horrible. Hope she learns to straighten her life out and apologize to everyone she was horrible to. I both liked and disliked Gina. I’ve read several stories where the FMC is undercover and can’t reveal things but this was the first story where I felt she was dishonest about a lot more than things pertaining to work and it tainted my view of her. If she was smart and such a good cop she would have started to tape and record her interactions with Sam as he was so unhinged and lying through his teeth and her job was at risk. I didn’t like how she planned to use mia, who at one point tried to beg Gina off the bad guy to help, and then planned to arrest her. I liked the story but had issues with it as well. I guess I’m the grand scheme of things the story world has problems that resolve much fast than real world. Like Gina is taken, obviously drugged with more than one thing(chloroform, & needled drug), as well as held captive, undressed, touched and essentially sexually assaulted minus penetration although it talks about her feeling fingers enter her before losing consciousness. I feel like although I don’t have problems with these types of stories for it’s more realistic there should. Be a trigger warning when getting the book. Then she is saved and within two days of being in and out of the hospital she is having sex that involves bondage. I’m sorry but that doesn’t seem realistic after being drugged and violated. I don’t like how all her lying was essentially just disregarded and given a wash just cause she was taken. And Armando just let it go. I felt like there should have been more discussion over the fact. Not that I didn’t want them together because they were major chemistry and steam. It needed more validation. I feel like Sam was a huge unresolved issue. Obviously he was taken into custody when they rescued Gina but nothing came of the aY in explaining his charges and what happened while she was taken. Great story.

Darksides

Armando Guzman is a Navy seal Sniper on Team Three. He has a younger sister who is always getting into trouble and he's always rescuing her. This time again she is hanging around the wrong crowd and he wants her to change because she has a son to raise. Now he meets a new friend of his sisters by the name of Gina who attracts him.

Gina is an undercover cop who is on a mission to take down a group of Mexican warlords. She has gotten close to a woman who knows all of these people and she kind of likes the girl but hopes she gets her head on straight one day. She knows that the girl has a brother who is a Navy Seal and he has gotten her out of trouble a lot of times. Do you finally get to meet him and he is hot and probably worth all of the rIsks. The only problem is she can't tell him the truth or anything about her mission . Gina also is caring some dark secrets . Her ex was also a cop is a deranged psycho. Gina isn't completely aware of this therefore danger lurks in all forms around these characters.

This story was good it was action and there was darkness.

Once again, even after reading the book, this audiobook brings the story to life, not only because of this talented author, but also because of the narration of JD Hart.
Navy SEAL Armando Guzman is all about family , his blood one as well as his SEAL family. When he gets back to the USA after a mission, his sister Mia is once again mixed up with one of San Diego’s drug gang.
He’s determined to keep her safe and is surprised that Mia’s new friend is a woman he feels an instant attraction to. Little does he know that Gina is really an undercover police officer .
The chemistry is off the charts, but Armando knows that Gina is keeping secrets. Meanwhile Gina’s former lover, Sam, also a police officer, is making her life difficult professionally and personally.
As Sam gets more volatile, Gina’s undercover work gets more difficult.
When Gina and Gia get in trouble the SEALs come to save the day. But when Gina disappears, Armando will do anything and everything to find her. Will he get there in time to see if they can finally get their HEA? Or will the danger and the lies of omission get in the way?
Another engaging story in the series.

This was not a quick read. It was full of action, danger, and suspense. There were also some dark moments in the book.

I liked how much Armando's team was involved in this book. I thought Armani and Gina had great chemistry. I found Mia to be more than a little irritating. Even after finding out about the basis for some of her anger, I still had some difficulty with her attitude. I actually felt sorry for Fredo.

I thought it was interesting that Gina didn't see just how dangerous Sam was to her. I think even Mia picked up.on it eventually.

I am going to be honest. I do wish there had been an epilogue with this. After the journey taken with Armani and Gina, all of the edge of your seat moments, and her trauma, I would have liked to see them enjoy their HEA further down the road. It felt to me like after all of that, their story, or their romance just kind of ended.

Overall a good read, not to be completed in one sitting. At least, I couldn't do it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Spoilers!

I worked very hard to finish this book (and only managed to read it to 90%). I feel like I’ve lost 2 weeks of my life… Yup! Took me 2 weeks to read it because I didn’t really felt the need to read it, I just wanted to get it over with.

So many things that got on my nerves! First, Gina is a police officer, but she lets Sam treat her like sh*t and lets him bully her. I know a few female police officers and let me tell you, they would not tolerate this behaviour!!! Then, towards the end, when Gina wakes up in the hospital after being sexually assaulted by Sam, she wants to take a "hot & steamy shower" with Armando… who acts this way in real life?!?

I will probably give this series another chance, hoping the next story will be better, but if it’s similar, I’ll stop waaayyyyy before 90%!

SEALS Under Cover is the third installment in Sharon Hamilton’s SEA: Brotherhood series. In it she chronicles the romantic journey of Gina and Armando. This is a dark SEAL romance filled with many sexual scenes. Gina is a cop who goes under cover where she befriends Mia (Armando’s sister) who has a baby with Caesar, the Scorpion gang leader. There are several secondary characters with a dark side, like Mia, who was raped by a priest and a shrink, and Sam, an older cop who is obsessed with Gina. The sex scenes are drawn out. This semi offset with the camaraderie amongst the SEAL team. I found this book to be a bit too raw for me and will probably not continue reading this series.

Gina is undercover getting close to Navy SEAL Armando's sister Mia. But while she's trying to get close to Mia to bring down the Scorpions, Gina's ex Sam, another cop tries to interfere with the investigation. Then when Gina starts to develop feeling for Mia's brother Armando, Sam becomes obsessive and almost risks the entire operation. But when Armando and his buddies interfere with the investigation unknowingly to make sure his sister is ok, will Gina's life be at risk and not because she's been hanging around the gang? Another great story in this series!

Seal under cover is awesome.

Here in book three you have Armando "Armani" the handsome seal which gets him his nickname and Gina the police officer working to finish off the Scorpio gang that was the group who kidnapped Mia in an earlier book. Enjoy the story with the twist and turns that can happen in the seedier side of life. Will the seals stay out of police business? Will you be able to pick out the good guys and bad guys and just what will happen next? Enjoy the story I did.
