Sara Shepard graduated from NYU and has an MFA from Brooklyn College. She has lived in New York City, Brooklyn, Tucson, Arizona, Philadelphia, and now lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Sara's Pretty Little Liars novels were inspired by her upbringing in Philadelphia's Main Line.

The third and fourth book and really developed the characters to lead down the path the show has gone. There is lots of supporting deals that makes it do you can get to know the girls and their thoughts more deeply. The book always ends on a cliff hanger, so it is very intriguing to want to continue reading the next book! Liked these two more then the first and second

Great second and third book in the series. The suspense, the secrets and the answers just continue to flow. Sara Shepard has done another fantastic job at weaving this web of mystery. Each girl leaves off her chapter with a cliff hanger, leaving me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what happened next.

We're definitely leaving the path the show has done, with the unexpected turns these two books have taken. Which means I am excited to see how the story unfolds now as I can't go off the plot of the show as easily now.

I just have such a spot for the show and now these books. It’s not a guilty pleasure as I don’t feel guilt but I am slightly surprised at how much I enjoy them especially because I have pulled away a lot from young adult in the past couple of years. However I shall read on.
