Chemistry: An Atoms-Focused Approach

Rate this book
More than atoms first--atoms focused.

The authors, who have more than two decades of combined experience teaching an atoms-first course, have gone beyond reorganizing the topics. They emphasize the particulate nature of matter throughout the book in the text, art, and problems, while placing the chemistry in a biological, environmental, or geological context. The authors use a consistent problem-solving model and provide students with ample opportunities to practice. Please note that this version of the ebook does not include access to any media or print supplements that are sold packaged with the printed book.

Excellent college Chemistry textbook! The examples are great and there are many practice problems for each chapter. And if you get the software too, there are tutorials and animations which are very helpful.

A really good textbook introducing chemistry as a science from the reductionist perspective of atoms.
