One the most amazing things in my life in 2017 was that I spent a week in Dublin, Ireland. That's where I took that book from, which was an amazing story-telling for New Year's Day.

I really love folklore and mythology from various nations and that book is an excellent reminder of a marvellous trip!

This book was given to me by my sister who visited Dublin last month.
I've been captivated by Scottish and Irish folklore for as long as I can remember. I love the stories of beings who inhabit other worlds and cross veils into our own. Possibly, I just don't feel that this book is worth the 5 stars simply because it doesn't have more of this particular theme.
However, it is a marvellous book, full of stories, full of myths and legends and all that is good.

This is a cute book with great illustrations that tell classic Irish legends and folklore. I enjoyed it. And I especially like that there is a part in the back that lists pronunciations of a lot of the hard Gaelic words and names.
