This is as solid a self-help book as I've seen. The author has a breezy and conversational style but shares some very powerful messages here. This makes a nice companion piece to Dale Carnegie and Maxwell Maltz's best-known books, but Mr. Mason has a real gift for turning a phrase and sharing complex topics in an easy to read and digest format. Not to be missed.

This book is an easy-to-read pocket book that you can finish in one sitting.
It comprises of inspirational and funny stories backed with bibilical verses. You can truly feel the Author's wit and sincerity.

'Be yourself' offers us to live our life intentionally and be authentic. It encourages us to begin each day seeking God's wisdom, especially in moments when we feel lost, unworthy, or uncertain of our purpose. 

We can "Be yourself" if we align our plans with God's objectives.

The book presents 52 nuggets which serve as a great foundation for a creating a life principle framework towards self-mastery.

Why does this book only has an under hundred reviews??? I ain't a religious person but the amount of annotation I made on this book was insane! I can't count how many stickers and how many underlined quotations I have put in this but i'm telling you guys this is a must read! I am so happy I've made the right decision to read it before this year ends. There are a lot of things I acquired that I'll adapt on the new year, and some of my perceptions in life have changed. Indeed, one of the best self-help books I read! ❤️

I know for myself that I'm not the biggest believer and the most religious person ever. I've had my moments, just like the most of us. Pero if I to ever be in a tight situation, and is not comfortable sharing my problems to anyone, I always seek God's.

This book opened my eyes in the most beautiful ways imaginable. I've had my cries and precious moments with Him reading this one.

10/10 recommend even if you're not the biggest believer :>> God is patient

Every nugget chapter of this book is a worthwhile read plus John Mason did not only wrote self-help ideas and quote worldly advice to live in to but he did acknowledged many verses in which we should always rely to on in life--- the Bible.
It did help my being wise at some points and some part. Loved it. Thumbs up.

Highly recommend this Biblical and inspiring book. Its size fits well in the hand. I read one chapter a morning as part of my daily devotions to give me some inspiration to start my day. Each chapter is just a few pages; though a quick read, he makes you think.
