A comprehensive look at the life of Anne Frank, her family, and the friends who helped them and other Jews to elude Nazi soldiers for two years by hiding in an attic.
Personally, I would've gave it a 2 or so as it didn't give me anything new into the life of Anne Frank especially as I read the book beforehand. I skimmed through it looking at parts based on the war itself and really enjoyed seeing more pictures from the war. If anyone wanted to know about Anne Frank's life without reading her novel then this book is perfect because it summarises everything in very easy to understand pieces.
(I borrowed this from the library and was in fact in the adults section but is a junior non- fiction book , hence why I found it not to my liking because it was written for children)
This book has interesting insight on the original diary and juxtaposition between Anne franks life and what was happening with the war at the same time.
