Honeslty I just finished two minutes ago and here are my unfiltered thoughts:

1. Misscommunication was kinda THE trope for the entire series. I think if the all the MCs would have just expressed what they actually felt the entire agony and distress would have been avoided…but what are we if not flawed characters in real life
2. I was intrigued about Leif and Milas relationship after both had discovered what they actually felt for each other. So classical enemies-to-lovers. Just they were real enemies and sought out to end each other.
3. I had wished for more family dynamic and a little less spice. I feel like the oversprinkling of spice took away from the story.
4. I was a sucker for Leif adoring and wanting Milas dark side and letting her be the killer she was born to be
5. It is a good beginner Mafia series, IF you are into dark romance books, cause the entire series touches upon dark topics and there is a lot of blood..

I will not re-reed this series. Its all the same thing in every book so far. Im done with this author for good. I will not start the other series because I think that they will be the same….

This book took me so long to finish because I was so invested in the overall plot but there was just so much smut I kept putting it down :((
