I’m TR Cameron, science fiction author. I’ve been an avid consumer of the genre since I was six, I think, when I broke the seal on my Dad’s copies of the Asimov Foundation books. It’s been all downhill since then.

I have a day job that I love most days, and writing is pretty much my only consistent hobby. When I find time that’s not already filled with my wife, my daughter, my writing, my work, or dodging the affections of our clowder of cats, you can find me playing video games (currently Dishonored 2 – I’m a little behind the times on this one), watching things (Marvel movies, American Gods, Agents of Shield, Justified, The Expanse, Gotham), playing board games, or, naturally, reading.

My favorite authors in Sci-Fi are David Weber, Jean Johnson, John Scalzi, CJ Cherryh, and the giants: Asimov, Pohl, Bear, Heinlein, etc. I read a lot in other genres too, and am a big fan of Matthew Woodring Stover, Michael Anderle, Jim Butcher, and I could go on and on and on. If I had to choose one favorite, though, it would be Stephen R. Donaldson, whose Thomas Covenant series was transformative for me.

Probably my pie-in-the-sky dream for my writing career is that someone would make a movie or television show of my books and I could be a part of the production. Sure, unlikely, but a clowder-dodger can dream, right? My more practical dream is that I can keep writing and both entertaining and connecting with my readers for years and years to come.

Entertaining fantasy listening 🎶🔰

This kindle e-book novel is from my Kindle Unlimited account book four of eight.

A fantasy world 🌎 story with lots of action, misdirection, and violence as the team fights the invasion. I had a harder than normal time following the action. But the ending was really great and I am looking forward to the next book.

I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of fantasy world 🌎 adventure thriller novels 👍🔰. 2024 👒😉🌙😀

A really great and exciting series!!!!!

Congratulations to T.R. Cameron, Martha Carr and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Holy C**P!!!! This was worth the wait!!!!

So this latest entry into TR Cameron’s section of the Oriceran universe has got to be his very best EVER!

EVERYTHING fits together seamlessly. Dialogue flows naturally. Each and every event, action and reaction are flawlessly organic. It’s pure and simply awesome from word one to the final punctuation mark.

Everybody wins (and I mean everybody), but everybody also loses…. (And I mean everybody). You’ll have to read it to understand. And here’s the best part, it’s been a while and I had forgotten a lot of the details. But it all worked so well, it just didn’t matter. So even if you haven’t read any of Cameron’s stuff, pick this one up and give it a try. You won’t regret it. ****Grin***

Interesting…

I enjoyed this book, just didn’t love it. IMHO, T.R. is just trying to pack SO much stuff in it. Aisling with her family on a quest for precious metals (that part seemed long) and Aisling on a date (PG), and Mia getting a new exoskeleton (and yeah… what exactly DOES it do?), and THEN the attack on Dragonfly HQ! THAT part was awesome! Then, almost instantaneously, payback. It was just a lot that somehow, didn’t seem to mesh as well as it usually does. I am sorry T.R… this book had its definite good points, but it didn’t really congeal for me… seemed a tad scattered. Sorry. Still a huge fan and can’t wait for Cait to come back into the picture! It seemed that Aisling could’ve put her earring to use! ;p

Dragonfly is attacked many killed and many kidnapped.

Dragonfly is attacked by Mazlov and his group. Its his vengeance for killing Anya and disfiguring him. These wounds were his own fault but that doesn’t mean anything to him. Those that are left are disorganize and badly hurt. Aisling, Shimmer, Mia. And others are hiding while making plans. The leaders have to build again but not from start. They have backups in place now to just find everyone left and start again.

Taking care of business!

Not as many balls in the air or odd tasks were someone on each task wants to kill Aisling!
Also, the existing tasks are sort getting solutions!
I am guessing T.R. Wants to write something different
Plus both he and Martha have mention Amazon is making their business more difficult
Will need to find them vi other means
Really enjoying their books!
Thank you!

Revenge gone wrong

Kira and her boss are after revenge against Aisling and the Dragonfly agency and have the perfect mole to help. However, things don't go quite the way they thought it would. Another good book in this series with lots of action, suspense, humor and great characters. I am looking forward to the next book to see what happens next.

Apocalypse Strikes Back

Maslov's group knows Dragonfly's headquarters location and Maslov wants revenge. Aisling and Dragonfly are resourceful and flexible. Many plot twists occur.

Eagerly await the next book!

More action!

I loved this book. More action, story line moved along quickly and although a sort of cliff hanger it wasn't one of THOSE kind. More stories coming!!!!

Book four kept me riveted to its pages, all the way through to the very end - including the Authors' Notes!

I'm so pleased that the storylines are still just as exciting, and the characters, both 'good' and 'bad', were excellently drawn out.

Maslov Anokhin is the perfect bad guy in this storyline, with his trio of women, who are totally devoted to him and, when Anya dies, while attacking Dragonfly employees, Maslov, Kira, and Irina vow to take revenge for this - even though their attack on the Dragoneye Base, was their decision to make, instead of holding back, and, maybe, becoming stronger, later on!

One thing about ANY book written by TR Cameron, Martha Carr, and Michael Anderle, is that you will ALWAYS get such great characterisation that, at times, it's hard to tell the difference between those doing wrong, and causing death and destruction, and those fighting for Right - but ALSO causing death and destruction!

This book was the perfect example of this, for me as, when Dragoneye goes into battle, guns blazing, even though they always decide to make their attacks less lethal, that very often doesn't last, when it becomes a choice to kill, or be killed!

When Dragoneye shut down Maslov's Rackets, thus causing deaths - even though those deaths were unavoidable, and accidental, people STILL died - and plenty of destruction was done to his two bases.

So, when Maslov - now badly scarred, especially on one side of his face, and wearing a mask to cover it up, due to being caught in the blaze at his second Base, by Aisling - decided to attack Dragonfly's main base, situated in Birmingham Center, and Kira and Irena kidnap many of the Dragonfly employees, while killing others, including someone else extremely important, I sometimes found it hard to blame the bad guys and, occasionally, felt that the good guys were a tad too gun happy, too.

I guess this is a case where each side believes that it is THEY, who are in the right, and the other people in the wrong! Lol

As is usual with TRC, he has put together quite a few threads that have Aisling and Shimmer as the string that draws them all together.

Aisling, as usual, barely has a day or two free of everything going on, to join her family Coven in Ireland, or to go on a treasure hunt, to try and find the magical metal that her Dwarf friend, Grath, is hoping she'll find for him.

But, whatever she IS doing, Aisling is definitely doing it with her whole heart! Lol

As soon as I've finished this review, I'll be going on to book five: 'Dragoneye' (don't you just LOVE the play on words with the titles?)! Lol

But, once I've finished reading that, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of it!
