Second Chance MC Romance

Gunner and Lily had known and loved each other since high school but Gunner gave up on their relationship because he thought it was best for her since he was joining the Satan’s Disciples MC. Now ten years later and Lily is back in town with a little boy and has a chance meeting with none other than Gunner. They both had never stopped loving each other so now was their second chance.

Things got complicated with her son’s father being from a rival club but Gunner was not going to leave Lily’s side. The bond in this little family was heartwarming but to go along with that feel good book steam was coming off the pages as these two reconnected.

I loved how the club stood together behind Gunner when the unthinkable happened. What a great addition to this series.

Gunner never expected his day to be taking a turn when he is literally hit with the child of his first love in a grocery store. Lily was back in Carnage to stay, and she was as beautiful as he remembered. In addition to her sexiness, she was now mother to a great kid.
He was not letting her go this time.
However, it seems that she is carrying a secret...she's being threatened by an unknown source.
Can Gunner protect them?

We are given some great steamy and teasing and sexy scenes from these two, as well as a ton of sweetness when it becomes a who family moment. Not to forget, we get a bit of danger!

This book was an average read for me. I wanted to like it more since I love the single mom trope but it just seemed like it was lacking in storyline. It dragged in parts and it was mostly them doing it. I wish the motorcycle club was in it more, more details but there’s not a ton that can be done in 229 pages.

hot hot hot!! i absolutely loved Lily and Gunner! second chance romance has always been one of my favorite tropes and it was done beautifully with this book! for such a short read, it really packs a punch! i absolutely love the body positivity represented as well, it really made me feel seen. the way Gunner cared for Lily’s son Caleb was probably my favorite part, he claimed them as his the moment he ran into them, and the whole family took them in and cared for them. this was my first book by Elyse and I can’t wait to go back and read the others! thank you so much for the opportunity to ARC read ❤️

With every new addition to this fantastic series, Elyse creates a highly entertaining story that's gonna have you wanting to hop on, hang on tight, and just enjoy the ride!

Lily "Sunshine" Carter is a curvy, sweet and sassy single mom who's just returned to Carnage for a fresh start with her son Caleb.

James "Gunner" Black is the road captain of the Satan’s Disciples and from the moment he sees Lily again, is hell bent on never letting her go.

Right from the start, I was totally drawn into this story of high school sweethearts reconnecting with a little danger and suprise twist mixed in. I enjoyed the single mom aspect to the story and how these band of brothers never fail to have each other's back.

Gunner may be every bit the rough and tough tatted bossy biker but, he's a big ol' teddy bear at heart. There's gentle and sweet beneath his hard layers and I loved how he continually gave that side of himself to Lily and Caleb. Though the way in which he always made Lily feel sexy, desired, and loved really melts your heart.

Filled with second chance vibes, sexy spice, action, danger, and one dirty-talking bada$$ biker willing to burn down the world for his woman....just OH YEAH! It's one of those stories you don't want to put down because you're having too much fun reading it!

Exciting, fun, and absolutely smut-tastic...
these books are a wild and crazy fun ride that I am thoroughly enjoying! I seriously can't wait for more from Carnage, NV! Bring on Crusher because after that chapter 1 sneak peek, you better believe that this is one gal who definitely needs MORE

🔥 Lily is this beautiful bad 🍑 woman who is not only a single mother but she’s navigating this world of motherhood all while being back in her hometown - and then seeing the love of her life? What a whirlwind that was! I truly enjoyed Lily, and Elyse never gives us damsels in distress - she always makes sure the FMCs are strong and confident in themselves even though somedays they have the same insecurities as the rest of us. I just enjoyed watching Lily’s growth and her chemistry with Gunner (James) was unmatched!

🔥 Gunner - hot - sexy - did I mention 🥵 biker? I am a sucker and I knew I would be from the moment he comes into the story. He’s so protective of Lily and her son that for a moment you can’t see how they couldn’t ever not be a family. He’s greatly written - and there are some funny moments as well that had me laughing. Plus- the mouth on this man is just *chefs kiss*.

Review: Lily and James were perfect for one another and have always been. Loved their second chance romance and how fast based this story was. Lily and James meet each other again after 10 years and you can feel their chemistry 🥰 James wants another chance with her and he isn’t going to stop until he has her. They’re both madly still in love with each other and they were soooo cute. Lily has a child and the way James connects with Caleb and stars calling him his is just 🥹 and the filthy mouth on James just makes it worth reading 😮‍💨🥵

It's one that you only know if you've been in the world. And if you haven't, she brings you in as close as possible with the book.

This book is about James (Gunner) and Lily (Sunshine). They are high school sweethearts who have a second chance at love. Gunner (literally) walks right back into her life at the most opportune time and helps her navigate a heart wrenching situation involving her life, her son, and their new relationship.

This story has off the charts spice, second chance romance, the mc trope that we all know and love, darker themes, a bratty, sassy FMC, a HOT MMC, and I could literally go on and on and on with all the reasons you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO READ THIS BOOK (and honestly the 2 books before it and all the others that will come after!)

She's done it again and will continue doing it. Thank you Elyse Kelly for another amazing book. You've hooked me from the start and you keep dragging me under these men each book you write.

I loved the concept of Gunner: Satan's Disciples MC Book 3 by Elyse Kelly. It was very well written and thought out. I love how in this book by Elyse Kelly we get to find out more about Gunner. James ‘Gunner’ Black is the Road Captain of Satan's Disciples Motorcycle Club and he is starting to get tired of the same routine of his life style and then in walks a blast from his past. Gunner is in the supermarket trying to find him some cereal to eat when a little boy runs into him. He helps the little boy and keeps him from falling to the floor and discovers that he’s lost from his mom. So he’s in the process of getting ready to go find the little boy’s mom when he hears her calling for him and he calls out that he’s in the cereal section. When the boy’s mom finally comes over he discovers that it’s his high school sweetheart Lily Carter. Shocked he let her slip out of his site but he soon comes to his senses and goes to find her. Once he does he tells her that she’s his. Will Gunner and Lily finally get to have their happy ever after or will a blast from Lily past come in the picture and ruin everything? I guess that you will have to read Gunner to find out. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This story out of the series had me in all my emotions. I was worried, happy, crying and cheering. James ( Gunner) and Lily ( Sunshine) second chance was the best! I love how Lily never stopped loving James. I love how well they worked through the insecurities that Lily had. I also love how Lily was a single mom! Caleb sounds so stinking cute! This story had some great details, down to the fights and the smut! If you are looking for a story that has it all this is for you! Hot bikers, continuation from the first two books, & new details for the next story. I love that James only allows her to fill him by his government name. I also love how she is familiar with some of the other characters. That Mayor is making me so pissed. He need to go in the next book please 🤣😂.

Gunner is Book 3 of the Satan's Disciples Motorcycle Club series and my favorite in the series to date. It's a steamy, OTT, friends-to-lovers, second-chance, curvy single mom gets her hunky, first love, biker romance.

Lily (Sunshine) is a sweet, sassy, and curvy single mom to the adorable Caleb. James (Gunner) is the hunky, inked road captain for Satan's disciples. The two were high school sweethearts, but James let her go when he decided to join the MC club. Now she's back in Carnage, NV, and he is determined to reclaim her and protect her and Caleb from some unexpected danger.

I just loved Gunner and how he was a burly, sexy dirty-talking biker but a big old marshmallow for Lily and Caleb. He worshipped her curves and made her feel loved and treasured. Their chemistry was pure fire, and the ending was happy after some serious drama. This series is so great. I love how all the bikers are found family and always have each other's backs. I loved it!.

Boring and the plot doesn’t make sense at times.

I was looking forward to this one the most out of the series, but I didn’t enjoy it at all. I ended up skimming through the endless mind numbingly boring s*x scenes. Seriously what woman has six or**sms in one scene? 🙄🙈

Gunner/James and Lily dated in high school and were in love. For some bizarre reason James dumps Lily breaking her heart, as his dad was a violent drunk, so he must be as well. After a one night stand leaves Lily with a son, she’s convinced that she’s fat and ugly as she’s had a baby. As soon as James sees Lily again he knows that she’s his and he’s not letting her go. Personally I felt like she’s so lacking in confidence, that if anyone told her she was beautiful she would grab onto them. Sorry that’s harsh but she’s got a six year old son and she moves James in who she doesn’t even know anymore! Not exactly responsible parenting.

There is some danger but it’s over way too fast. Personally I think this was the weakest book of the series.

Part of the Satan's Disciples MC series the third installment brings us Gunner and Lilly. Once high school sweethearts, they went their separate ways both broken from their loss. But ten years later Lilly is back, along with her little boy. But it's not a straight forward reunion, as unbeknownst to her she's going to need help and Gunner will make sure she gets him and the whole club behind her.
If you like motorcycle club romance, friends to lovers, second chance romance, single mum romance, alpha males, pure love, spice (lots of delicious spice), dual pov writing, high angst, series read (but could be read as a standalone), HEAs then Elyse has you covered.


5/5 stars definitely a repeat read. Elyse knows what you, and delivers way above expectations. Amazing read.

A second chance MS romance that is full of spice and a bit of danger thrown in. Ms. Kelly gives us two people who once loved one another but he knew he had to leave and that decision broke two hearts. Meeting again ten years later has brought back the feelings that were once there. Their story is short but delivers a lot between the pages
Gunner and Lily were high school sweethearts but he left her heartbroken. Imagine his surprise when he sees her again and she has a little boy, Caleb. The sparks that once were there ignite again and he turns to the protective caveman that she remembers and loves. When she shares who the father of Caleb is it could cause danger because of who he is. When danger shows its ugly face, Gunner and the MC are there for Lily and Caleb.
I love how protective Gunner is and will have you swooning over him. Lily is a feisty mom who is really a mother bear because nothing will get in the way of her loving her son.

I love this series and these men! They are all incredible. Here we get to know Gunner aka James. Swoon. I'm in love. But he only loves one woman, Lily. Lily is back in Carnage and Gunner's thrown. She has had his heart since they were teenagers. I absolutely loved their chemistry, banter, etc. they were perfect together. I loved the added dimension with her having a son, Caleb. And I really loved how good Gunner was with him. Danger lurks nearby though to put a wrench in their happy ending. Thankfully Gunner and the rest of Satan's Disciples are having none of it. You mess with one, you mess with them all. You also reap the results of that. I couldn't put this down until I finished it and I was left very happy. This was so well written and awesome. Can't wait for Crusher's book next.

Gunner & Lily fell in love when they were younger teenagers, but they didn't go the distance since he decided unilaterally that they should break up as he was joining the Satan's Disciples MC & it wouldn't be safe for her. It's been ten years since they were face to face, but Lily has come home but she has a son with her. You would think that would make it complicated for Gunner, but nope, he knows this time that he's never letting go of her so he sets out to start their happily ever after. Well, it does get complicatd on a whole other front when it comes to the father of her baby but I'll let you find out what I'm talking about. This story was easy to read in one sitting as it had everything to keep me engaged. There was extreme heat, tons of sweet (tiny human interaactions), action & suspense that brought the twists in hot so it was perfect in my eyes. I cannot wait for more in this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

“Gunner” is the third book in Elyse Kelly’s Satan’s Disciples MC series, and it’s a second chance/single mom motorcycle club romance.

This two main characters in this book are Gunner, a member of the Satan’s Disciples MC, and Lily, the first and only woman he’s ever loved.

Gunner and Lily broke up years ago, but when she moves back to Carnage, Nevada for good, Gunner becomes determined to make her his again.

I loved the fact that Gunner was super protective of Lily and her son, Caleb. Even though Caleb wasn’t biologically his, Gunner accepted him as his own from the beginning.

Lily had such a kindhearted, sweet-tempered personality. I also could relate to her insecurities, but I was really glad that Gunner was able to make her see that she had nothing to worry about.

All in all, this was a fantastic read. I’d definitely recommend both this book and the entire Satan’s Disciples MC series for fans of action-packed MC romance!

When Lily left Carnage she was sure she would never go back. It has been ten years, she now has a little boy and she has come home. She never expected to see him, James Black, the boy who broke her heart. He did what he said he was going to do, he is now the road captain of the Satan's Disciples MC with the road name Gunner.

Gunner cannot believe Lily is back in town, she is the only one he ever loved and is going to make sure she is his from now on. When Gunner finds out Caleb is the son of one of their rivals, it is time to make sure both the mother and the son our his to protect.

These two get a second chance, not a lot of angst between the pair but danger from another source. Cannot wait for Crusher's story.

This is book number 3 of the Satan's Disciples Motorcycle Club series and focuses on James (Gunner) and Lily. Lily and James had been high school sweethearts until James broke up with her. Lily had thought that they were soulmates and would go on to build a life together. James didn’t want to hold Lily back from living life and making something of herself so he thought he was doing the right thing by letting her go. 10 years later, James runs into Lily at the grocery store and is quick to reclaim the love of his life and her son. He had no intentions of letting her go again so he did everything he had to do to make her his again and keep her safe when trouble came for them. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

When she left ten years ago he thought it was best to let her go but now he never will again. Unfortunately, someone from her past is coming after her and her son but James won’t let anyone take what is his. Lily has always loved James, can it be that easy to fall back together? When her past comes back can she trust James will keep them safe? I loved the storyline and the characters. He’s an alpha male and he will keep her safe forever. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Their connection is as strong as ever and the chemistry between them is still steamy, but James has a very kinky menu with Lily being the main course. He’s extremely protective, dominant, and loves her and her little boy. She’s so happy to have him back her life and that he accepts her son, even if she’s a little unsure about his MC. Elyse Kelly captured all their feelings, created sexy erotic scenes, and developed their relationship into an amazing family. I love the level of intimacy and sense of family she achieved with this book. It was great reuniting with the men and their women!.

Now Lily is back home and she is a single mom. Running into James 'Gunner' was just fate. From the minute runs into Lily again he vows he won't let her out of his sight again.

But Lily and her little boy are in danger, and Gunner will do everything in his power to protect both of them❤️

This was a quick and easy. Everything went by so fast. The chemistry was definitely there. The steamy scenes were off the charts. I enjoyed the bit of angst thrown in and the suspense. I am definitely intrigued by this series and can't wait for more❤️

I enjoy Elyse's books because they are quick reads that you can snuggle up with on a rainy day and read in one sitting. Yet they are packed with spice, protective alpha heroes, sassy heroines, intrigue, and mayhem.
This is especially true for Gunner - it is a second chance romance - reunited with his high school girlfriend, he is quick to claim her once again, which sets off a confrontation with a rival MC club.
I loved that on the one hand Gunner is this tough, tattooed don’t mess with me biker, but he is also caring, kinda sweet, and so protective. Lily is strong, independent, and sassy. These two are perfect for each other. If you enjoy your smut with a side of intrigue and a healthy dose of alpha hero, then this is definitely the book for you. I must rank “Gunner” as the spicier of the Satan’s Disciples trio. Author Elyse Kelly truly made James (Gunner) the most jaw-dropping, heart-melting, and delicious hunk of man. Yes, I said hunk of man. And no, I’ve never used that phrase before. It was what Lily deserved. The two characters return from knowing each other in high school, and the attraction remains there years later.

I enjoyed the suspense and overprotectiveness of James’ character and how the rest of the disciples stepped in to help when things got bumpy with Lily and her son—I also love the cameos.

Between the action, spice, and fantastic epilogue, I can only imagine the next installment.

Another Installment of the Satan’s Disciples MC Series.
This is book three in the series and features Gunner, aka James and his high school girlfriend, Lily who he broke up with years ago. Lily has moved back to town with her six year old son, Calab. They quickly reignite their passion but at a deadly cost. Will the drama from a revival MC be their downfall?
This book was fast paced and contained lots of violent and steamy sex scenes. There were tender moments too. It is a well-written series in the three books so far. Definitely recommending to anyone who loves MC Series. PEACE.

This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is James / Gunner and Lily / Sunshine’s story.
These two were high school sweethearts, and when single mom Lily returns home after 10-years, and crosses paths with Gunner, the sparks fly.
This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, loyalty, friends / lovers, humor, witty banter, danger, suspense, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, and steamy small town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

What I liked- I love the First Love, Second Chance trope. And the book is so hot, I thought my Kindle would overheat.
