Keith Allen is a fiction writer, perhaps with an odd comfort of the macabre since most of his stories end up with at least a few people getting killed. He writes what he enjoys reading, which is fast paced mysteries, thrillers and stories that delve into the realm of science fiction and the paranormal. While not researching breaking news from the science community that will likely lead to the end of humanity or researching poisons, guns, and fascinating ways to cancel someone, Keith Allen enjoys spending time with his family, and his ever present and fluffy dog, Callie.
Damn, damn, damn. This book was just, real good for me. This is actually my first medical mystery book, and oh, hell. I just reminded myself why I've always hated surgeons. But seriously? This book was just amazing. It was thrilling, and it was fast paced--though of course, there'd be the slow bits. Not that I hated it. What I actually hated was the fact that I couldn't finish it in just one sitting. And, also, (off topic) not to mention that the sticker thingies reminds me of a certain creepypasta--that apple guy, what's his name? Ah, right. Happy Appy. And I love creepypastas. So obviously, that just made me love the book more.
I won this book from a giveaway in booklikes, by the way. :)
Healthy hearts are suddenly showing up on the hospital's transplants coordinators desk just in time to save the life of a child. But there is no paperwork accompanying them. Where are they coming from? Is it ethical to use them? An excellent medical mystery novel. It is fast paced and kept me on the edge of my chair. It was easy to suspend disbelief. All of the characters were the proverbial nice guy. The author held me in the palm of his hand until he exposed the villain. I received this book for free in exchange for this honest review.
