For the five rock gods of Sole Regret, finding love is easy, keeping it is hard.
This anthology contains three novellas from the best-selling One Night with Sole Regret serial series. Volume 2 includes:
Share Me is a prequel to the series. Lindsey follows the Sole Regret tour bus up a dangerous and snowy mountain pass to meet the band and spends Christmas Eve getting to know musicians Owen and Kellen far better than she ever imagined.
In Touch Me, Sole Regret's bassist and playboy, Owen Mitchell, meets an older woman in a sex club. She's looking to forget her cheating exhusband and Owen knows exactly what she needs to heal her tattered ego.
In Tie Me, Sole Regret's broken-hearted rhythm guitarist, Kellen Jamison, has mourned for his lost love for five lonely years. Can a beautiful, classic-music composer finally break through the wall around this rock star's heart?
Combining her love for romantic fiction and rock ‘n roll, Olivia Cunning writes erotic romance centered around rock musicians. Raised on hard rock music from the cradle, she attended her first Styx concert at age six and fell instantly in love with live music. She's been known to travel over a thousand miles just to see a favorite band in concert. As a teen, she discovered her second love, romantic fiction -- first, voraciously reading steamy romance novels and then penning her own. Growing up as the daughter of a career soldier, she's lived all over the country and overseas. She recently moved to Galveston, Texas.
Somehow I started this a while ago, stopped, and binge read the rest of it last night after work. I love the boys of Sole Regret. This author sure knows how to make rock stars.
I love the guys from Sole Regret and this series is amazing. One of the things I love most about Olivia and this series is that she makes each new release my favorite. They just get better and better.
Share Me Christmas Eve. Tour bus. Two girls. The guys from Sole Regret....enough said ;)
Touch Me One of my favorite Olivia Cunning books. Owen and Caitlyn meet at a sex club. While he frequents them on a fairly regular basis, it's Caitlyn's first time. Another Olivia Cunning hit and the ending... O. M. G. I cannot wait to see how that story line turns out.
Tie Me Kelly's book has probably been the most anticipated of the series so far. I expected an emotional read just from the glimpses of Kellan that we've gotten in the previous books. The emotion that I didn't expect was hate. Yet I found myself hating Sara and her memory. She really did a number on him.
4.5 stars. If you like any of Olivia Cunning's rockstar romances, this is a must read! Each short story in this anthology tells the romantic tale of one individual band member and a woman(or women). The author does an amazing job of giving each character/band member their own unique identity, separating one from the other in the reader's mind. The sex scenes are incredibly hot and the emotions feel real. Despite the brevity of each individual book, each story feels unrushed and ends with closure. Well done Ms. Cunning!
I'm really loving the one single night per book story line. Granted the emotions are way too deep way too fast but they are compelling. Tons, too much really, of dirty sex in each book but it's does help make the story more fun if it were only the emotional overload, baggage, etc of each of the band mates the books would be too much. It is the emotional nature/issues that keep drawing me to the next book in the series.
I loved it so much, Olivia sure can write a great rock star story. I just wish it wasn't another periodical, a lovely big novel would be just fantastic, you know a beginning, a middle and an end, not this drawn out wait and wait some more, while being drip fed snippets, in this case tantalizing yummy snippets. 15 snippets in total only 7 more to wait for!
just love Olivia Cunnings books and loved this series. always loved the great storylines. thought the story about Lindsay's pregnancy was a bit short cut, need to know that ending!
Well, it's certainly not on the tame side of romances. It's explicit (not that I have a problem with that!) And I was surprised how much I enjoyed the character development!
While the first anthology was a pretty hot and steamy book to read, I can’t really say the same about Share Me, Touch Me, Tease Me, which consists of three novellas, Share Me, Touch Me, and Tie Me. Whereas the first collection of novellas consisted of stories about different Sole Regret band members, this one is mainly about Owen and Kellen.
Here’s my review for each:
Share Me2/5 By ‘sharing’ it means threesome (borderline orgy) of two guys and one girl (Owen, Kellen and Vanessa), and later on, two girls and one guy (Vanessa, Lindsey and Shade). Lindsey and Vanessa then go around and sleep with every band member (ok, full on orgy then, I guess). Which is kind of hot…? If you’re into that kind of thing.
Although I do find it weird just how close the band members are… they’re totally fine with watching each other get laid and jacking each other off(??!) Is that normal…?
Touch Me2/5 Touch Me takes place 6 months after Share Me. Here, Owen is clearly crushing on Kellen. This could have been a great m/m story but Owen falls for Caitlin, an older woman who was looking for a one night stand to get over her divorce. (I guess Owen is either Bi- or still in the closet?) The story ends with some crazy drama…
Tie Me2.5/5 Tie Me was SUPER CHEESY and takes place partway through where Touch Me left off, but this time, the story follows Kellen, who is still pining for his dead girlfriend. As he’s strolling along the beach, he hears beautiful piano playing and is drawn to it. Of course, he falls for the pianist/composer. I suppose it can be construed as romantic but I can’t help but feel that it’s way too cheesy. Especially the part where they start talking about fate and destiny 🙄.
Share Me: Woah, lol! That was off the charts hot with Lindsey and her friend Vanessa getting stranded in a snow storm with the band. Neither ends up with any of the band members as a HEA. It's just one huge sex party on the bus as an intro to each band member. Cunning did an awesome job making each band member unique and engaging. Kellan, Owen, and Shade are my favorites so far. She also makes an appearance in Touch Me and I'm assuming in Tie Me because we need some closure like NOW for this woman.
Touch Me: Owen's story. One of the more complex and complicated band members, Owen is struggling with his changing friendship with best friend Kellan and some of the emotional implications of sharing women together. Probably my favorite story so far (still reading Kellan's, which may change that lol), I could identify with Owen's love interest - an older woman who owns her own business. He's also pretty damn lovable himself. It doesn't go fully into BDSM, but plenty of bondage and some male submission.
Tie Me: Off to a good start. Kellan is still reeling from losing the love of his life after she died five years before. He's in the process of letting go when he meets a classical musician. Already there have been a few teary moments, but I'm hoping he gets his own happy ending! If you've read Share Me and Touch Me, you'll know that there is bound to be some bondage scenes later. Since Owen is now "in a relationship", I doubt he'll be making much an appearance here. Word of warning for the more squeamish, In all three stories, there is some same-sex scenarios.
Conclusion: The hardest thing with novellas is they happen so quick. The guys, because they are in each others stories, we learn pretty well. Each has his own kind of kink, so there is plenty of hot sex scenes to go around! The funniest part of the two books is that all of this happens in a space of a week (outside of the prequel) so these guys meet the loves of their lives and fall in love within days, sometimes hours, of each other lol. It would have been much more realistic if there had been "space" between the stories. That way we could check in to see how these relationships are going and be assured that there IS a happy ending for each. Stories such as Shade's had a bit of a cliffhanger. Series could definitely benefit from a follow-up.
I won this audiobook a while ago from a Goodreads contest. It took me forever to put it on my iPhone, then even longer to listen to it b/c I have small children... Therefore, I can't just play it anytime I want to "read". :-/
This collection of stories was just OK. I'm not sure there was a definitive plot, other than sex???? Yes, that is kind of a question. I normally don't mind sex in books, it IS a part of life and love. However, this book is JUST about the sex. No emotional connections, no relationships, JUST sex. humpft. I am thinking that since I had to LISTEN to this with major stretches between listening times, that I didn't get a chance to become invested, interested, or perhaps just see BEYOND the sex. Perhaps, had I been able to READ this book, I would have connected more and connected with it better.
Oh well. If JUST sex is your gig, you will love this. :)
The first novella in this anthology is what I thought the entire Sole Regret series would be like; it's pure erotica, written well, but not what I expect when I pick up an Olivia Cunning book and why I avoided reading this series for so long. The other two are about my fave band members, Owen and Kellan. I thought those were great and there was a lot of interesting background information. As usual, the band interactions are great- probably my favorite aspect of Olivia Cunning books. The romance was really hot, the characters were interesting, and the dialogue flowed well. The major surprise plot point revealed at the end of Touch Me perplexed me though. Honestly, it reminded me of the stalker incident in Trey's book (Sinners series), distracting and ultimately a let down. I guess I'll see how this resolves, but I didn't love the addition of this roadblock.

Touch Me Owen/Tags (bass guitar) and Caitlan Owen's a hoot, a real goof ball. He's also very nice, almost too nice, always taking care of people, sometimes to his own detriment.
Tie Me Kellen/Cuff (rhythm guitar) and Dawn Kellen is very serious. His obsession with maintaining his 5-year-old promise to his dying girlfriend got pretty old, especially as it's revealed how selfish and possessive she was, asking him not to have another woman after she died. Good grief, they're in their early 20's for pete's sake. I really came to dislike Sara, and Kelly got annoying with with all his guilt. FIVE YEARS?!?!? Get over it man! Otherwise, he and Dawn are very sweet together.
I love all things Olivia Cunning and oh my.....this anthology did not disappoint! The boys of Sole Regret are just as hot as the Sinners and Exodus End men. Loved having 3 novellas in one and I blazed through them super quick. What more could a reader possibly want---hot, sexy rockstars, steamy sex and bromances..... (And yes, this is the same thing I wrote for the anthology, volume 1 because really....it applies once again.)
Thank goodness I read Share Me before Tie Me. I don't think Tie Me would have given Kellen's rope skills enough justice. However I loved every minute of each of these books. Cunning blows my mind with the characters she creates. The pairing of rock star with their special brand of women surprises me every time. I can't wait for more!
Good God!.. Hot and Dirty! I love these characters, this author and her fantastic dirty mind. Olivia is a one click author. She can do no wrong! If you're looking for smoking hot, sexy, rocker stories... This is your one stop shop.
Share Me is the kick off to the "Sole Regret" anthologies. Lindsey & Vanessa are best friends following the tour bus in dangerous conditions and ending up spending the night with the band and the bus driver. A little over the top and a lot of slutty in this one but it gives you some band dynamics that weren't mentioned in the first book (Try, Tempt, & Take) and continuation into more story lines. The two ladies want the band and nothing but the band. Doesn't matter which guys. Touch Me is Owen's story. He's full of himself and is looking for more than a hookup. He & best friend/band mate Kellen have a strong bond and Kellen keeps Owen out of trouble, but they share a history. When Owen meets Caitlyn there's an attraction and he will try anything to keep her until something from the past comes crashing in. Tie Me is Kellen's story. He's the quietest band member and still mourning the loss of his wife from five years earlier. He has different proclivities than the rest of the band by not having sexual intercourse with anyone. Owen always teases him about it but it goes deeper than that. He connects with Dawn through music and is enthralled but is still held back by promises made years earlier
