I gave this book three stars because it gives important information for fathers-to-be, like me. It's not as if I wanted to read this book, but rather I felt that I had to, just to know what is going on over this time of expectancy. The book was well-organized and I read several chunks of text and was able to process the text before moving onto another topic.

Truth be told, I've only read five pages of this book, but they were five pages of crap. My husband is reading this book right now for our impending bundle of joy, and all it really talks about is how to deal with your newly psycho wife and her diminishing sex drive (neither of which apply to me personally). I suppose that's all that guys stereotypically care about. But any book that only talks about stereotypes and hyperbole to tackle a serious question is a piece of shit by my opinion.

Good for someone like me, who has never experienced this and is looking for a very basic look into pregnancy. But it doesn't get into a lot of things very deeply and is written in an elementary manner, as if it were written with adolescent kids as its target audience (which is also kind of scary, if you think about it).

This should be a 1.5 stars. It's full of great messages like "men are natural providers" and "watch out or your cat will eat your baby!" Overall it was nice to just immerse myself in an easy read related to the pregnancy and there were about 5 pages I consider useful. Sparked some good conversations with my wife as well.

Decent book. A bit outdated but all around a no fluff book. Sometimes it goes in great depth about not so important things and then less depth on super important things. However, I did feel it covered a lot of great topics!
