I completely and utterly love Luke. I almost didn't read this installment because Brina drive's me crazy and I didn't want to read that she has totally messed up her marriage to Luke.... Sigh, I love her too!

I love that Brina has transitioned to a wife of a billionaire and stopped trying to prove herself. Yeah! She finally got a new car! LOL :) Luke and Brina have two children now, Lucas and Rhianne. Sounds like Lucas is exactly like Brina and Rhianne is like Luke. Lucas is a little mama's boy and has the same "B.Stubborn as hell" like her but jealous like his daddy. Rhianne is a calm like Luke seems to be all the time except for when it come to spending time with Brina.

I am so glad that Brina has taken that pain of not being able to save her brother and created a center to help solider's like him. <3 Of course this is where the drama unfolds.... Meeting Brandon Newell. He served with Ryan.

I was kind of, no scratch that, extremely nervous after I read that chapter.... If I would have been Luke, I think I would have gone bat shit crazy that my wife brought stranger home, let alone on my birthday..... Oh Brina...

I think Luke sums it up best when he tells Brina, "And I learned not to get pissed about your lost puppy dog complex." Oh Luke is just an amazing husband.... and father. :)

As Brina sums him up, "Luke can always be trusted to do whatever keeps the kids and me safe and happy. And now I can trust myself to do the same."

<3 <3 <3 Oh Cassia.... I love Luke.

**MAY CONTAIN SOME SORT OF SPOILERS, DEPENDING WHAT YOU CONSIDER A SPOILER * ;-) .

So I've been on this Luke journey since day one with my dearest Abu. I am very sad that Luke has come to an end. I'm deeply invested in him and love him dearly. But one thing I can say is that I am happy how Luke #6(technically #7) ended. I'm happy Luke is happy and I love Brina also. now onto the juicy stuff.

Some quotes of Luke's I adore " It wasn't luck. I tricked you into working for me"

"It's the curse of having a big dick"

"Well, you are spayed."

I simply love and adore Luke and Brina how they interact with each other, their love and passion. The humor, these two are HILARIOUS, I've nearly wet myself a few times in the series and especially in Trust in Me. When Luke walks into the shower fully clothed, that has got to be one of the most sexiest parts in a book ever and in the Luke series.

Rhianne is my new favorite girl name. Little Luke is adorable and so like his daddy, jealous and adorable. He doesn't want mommy to be shared, so sweet. They have the sweetest little family and I am so super excited for them, I feel like they are my friends or my family, that is how invested I am in these two. Sigh, it breaks my heart it is over. I will miss Luke dearly, but the story is in a better place. I'm also glad Brina got to talk about Ryan with a friend and I hope Brandon finds peace and his life turns around, Ryan would of wanted that. All in all this is one of the best series out there and you simply must read them all. Cassia is truly a wonderful writer and person. Goodbye for now, Luke ;-) <3
Thank you for this series Cassia <3.

Included is the song I listened to a few times while ugly crying and reading ;-) lol.

This short story is a nice extra for us who loved this series. Just a little snippet of Luke & Brina 4 years down the track from their happy ever after. They are happily married & have been for 3 years.

It's Luke's 32nd birthday & although this is just 24 hours of their life & only 5 chapters long, it's just enough to keep their love in our hearts alive.

Brina is working for a foundation that she has set up in the momory of her brother whom we heard about in the series, his memory is something of joy & heartache for Brina as he took his own life & she was there to find him, still concious before he passed.

Luke is very understanding & gives Brina the time & space she needs, but he yearns for her. She meets someone who served in Afganistan with her brother & as difficult as it is for her she reaches out to him to help him just as she would wish anyone to have helped her brother. Hoping to save him from the same fate.

It stuns Luke but he can see that she needs to do this. Luke has security concerns as most parents would for their family. All turns out ok & it helps Brina make a few decisions where her family are concerned, for the better.

It's nice to see that our couple are still HEA, that's what we in the enternal romance department require. I'm happy to see all is still great for Luke & Brina & their 2 children Lucas & Rhianne, nice tale.

I was going to rate it with three stars but one line of text changed everything.

Part of this story tells us how Brina deals with the suicide of her brother Ryan. He was a north american soldier sent to Afghanistan. Another soldier is telling Brina memories of him. I'm going to quote part of the text so you can judge for yourselves:

"(...)"There's the time we were doing a security check in this village and this old guy kept following us around everywhere shouting shit in Dari, like we could understand. The fucker didn't care that Ryan was holding a fucking M249, he just kept getting in his face."

My chest tightens as I imagine what my brother must have felt being verbally attacked by a stranger for doing his job
..."

I feel extremely awkward when north americans treat war like a fucking job.

"(...) imagine what my brother must have felt being verbally attacked by a stranger..." Why don't you imagine what the stranger feels when a person that is invading his country is holding a weapon in his face?

I'm enraged, so I really can talk about the pretty things now.

I was leery as to how another book could be added to this series but Cassia found a way and the story was a great way to end the series.
Getting to hear a little more about Ryan and his tour in Afghanistan was great I was hoping to read a little more about him.
There is nothing I can say about Luke other than I love him all through this series...even when he was irking me...lol.

If haven't read this series and you are wondering if it is worth reading then let me tell you this: give it a shot, you might end up not liking it but my guess is you'll end up loving it instead.

I just adore Luke!! He is my favorite of all of Cassia Leo's leading men. Trust in Men comes after Luke 1-5 and Hunting Luke (in the anthology Love Me Tonight). Luke is just so sweet and understanding when it comes to Brina. There is very little he wouldn't do for her.

At this point, they have been married for a few years and the chemistry is as hot as ever. Both are busy with work and raising a family, so they are struggling to find a better balance. They both end up learning an important lesson in priorities.

This novella continues the story of Luke and Brina. A few years have passed and now we get a glimpse at their life together. Some of the sad memories are still an issue and Brina is given a chance to take charge and help her heart heal.

Loved the entire series! He is a hunk and a half! Just want to sail away with him...

Smart story, with great plot line. Could not help falling in love with Luke.

I picked this up on Amazon for free.

I didn’t really like it.
Well I liked it cos it had Luke in it but it didn’t really need to be done.
Besides the Kingston Foundation, and being 4 yrs down the track with another kid.
I mean I got more of Luke and Brina but it wasn’t necessary I thought.

Nothing really happened.

Brina and Luke are going to celebrate his birthday, but a soldier shows up that new Brina's brother. Of course she invites him home for dinner but doesn't really offer him a lot of time. I think the author had a great thing going but wanted to shift back to the sex. I wish we had a clear objective in this short, I was ready to learn more about her brother and his friends.

I thought this was a short story but discovered sadly that i needed some back story for it to make sense. Having said that I wasn't impressed enough with the writing here to invest any more time in the rest of the series.

I love everything Cassia Leo!! This book was my least loved book but good none the less.

This is a follow up book to the 5 part series Luke. This Book follows Brina and Luke and their two children and Brina's new job with the Kingston Foundation. Brina started the counseling center to help soldiers with PTSD and the challenges of returning from combat. She was forever changed by her brother's suicide after he was cleared to return to active duty.

It's Luke's birthday and all he wants is to spend time with Brina but she brings home a homeless man. Brandon served with her brother Ryan and she feels the need to help him but he helps her heal the loss of Ryan too.

Luke and Brina grow their bond by agreeing to spend more time together and less time working. They struggle with the parenting of their children and how to correct undesired behaviors like most parents.

It's Cassia Leo so it is a Goodread. I just loved the Luke and Brina story.

1 out of 5 Stars

I bought the whole series as Audiobook. I really shouldn't have.
The story is just plain flat (less than mediocre, in fact) and the only thing that makes it "worth reading" (at a stretch) is the book's steam-factor, but to be very honest, even that can't come to the rescue of a crappy book.

So this part of the series takes place a few years into Brina and Luke's marriage.
Brina still isn't over her brother who committed suicide and on Luke's birthday, she invites a homeless person to dinner because this guy pretends she knew her brother. Luke is annoyed because he wanted to spend time with Brina, Brina understands, they have sex, send the homeless guy home, then they have sex again. End of story.

Needless to say that this represents a 20 minute read (or a 30 mins listen in my case). Needless to say that this story is pointless: there's no plot and no morale.

Sorry, but this just didn't cut it for me and I really wouldn't recommend this.

I was so ecstatic to find out that there was more Luke!! I love him and couldn't wait to read more into the life of him and Brina. This was shorter than I expected but it was still great! I thought there might have been a little trouble in paradise for Luke and Brina. The love between the two characters can still be felt even as the story moved on three years since they got married. The little drama stirred up by her brother's friend was interesting. I was expecting it to be more dramatic than it came out but I just kept reading to find out how this would affect Luke and Brina's relationship. I was glad that it had a happy ending! It was just a little too short-like a quick tease. It was a satisfying itch to get more of Luke!

Last night, I saw this was free on kindle and what did I do since I've read the whole series of Luke? I freakingly started reading this!

Anyway, I really was super inconsolable yesterday so I indulge myself buying books. I started reading this one after it got finished downloading and I really missed Luke and Brina and Lucas. That freaking cute little monster! I can't help but just be nostalgic about the series! It went straight to my heart. It's really overwhelming.

Moving on...
To be honest, it really was such a cliffie but Cassia Leo girl, you never fail to mesmerize me with your writing! I super adore you!

still loving Brina and Lukes story, we catch up with them 4 years later, Brina has been working on a foundation, in memory of her brother Ryan, who died 5 years ago. when she meets a young man, a veteran who was with Ryan in Afghanistan.

Its Lukes birthday so they make arrangements to spend the evening together, unfortunately those plans are scuppered, she invites the young man over for dinner to the annoyance of Luke, he spends the night and they talk about Ryan, bringing up sad memories.

Luke and Brina do celebrate Lukes birthday and have hot sex, Cassia these scenes are smoking!!!!

They both really do love each other, and its lovely to see they are still living their HEA.

Brina is healing from her loss by helping veterans at the Kingston Foundation. When she meets a homeless man who served with her brother, she invites him for dinner at her house. But it's Luke's birthday and too many emotions get served as the main dish. The sixth installment of the Luke series, focuses on Brina and her grieving process. As always, Luke can read her like a book and care for her when she needs him most, even if the day was his...

I'm glad I got the previous 5 stories as a complete set because this story was extremely short and sweet. Still love the fact that we get to read about Brina and Luke 3 years into their marriage and on Luke's birthday. We don't really get to learn anything new apart from the fact that Brina meets a guy who served with her brother Ryan. Now onto the final story :-)

Besides the Kingston foundation there was really no point to this book. It didn't paint a better picture of Luke and Brina's story. It just felt like a waste. The ending to the previous story was a much better ending spot.
