I think I have my new favorite couple in Breadcrumb land!! Jill and Black’s story was so dang good!!!! 🥰🥰 Black and Jill have been together for several years and neither of them play about the other!! There has never been a doubt in either of their minds that they were endgame for each other. Black has finally popped the question and we are in full blown wedding planning when Black’s past comes back to bite him in the asś and HARD!! Y’all why did Jill show her WHOLE AND COMPLETE ÂSS when this man told her what the deal was!! I mean I get it Jill be mad but sis was unreasonable more than a time or two!! Goodness she stressed me out 😤😤
Black being the stand up guy that he was managed to keep a cool head and do damage control while they adjusted to their new normal. He really showed the type of man he was and through it all he made sure that Jill remained a priority!
It was refreshing to see that the adults in this situation were able to keep a level head and come together to do what was best for Ms Grace Raven. She brought so much joy to their lives that they couldn’t help but adjust their thinking! The couples just keep getting better and better and I can’t wait to see what Junie and Blume will bring us!!

Black Coalman is a real man baby! Laid back, doesn’t let much rile him up, does what he says and is loyal to a T! He is protective of his family and loves the hell out of Jill! After dating forever, Black and Jill are finally heading toward the alter; or are they? Hmmm.....
Black sees a blast from the past while visiting Target, and her revelation turns his whole world on its head! Being the man he is, he goes straight home to tell his woman the news hot off the press! Although nothing has been confirmed, he is sure that what Mercy believes is true. Black is in his head; how do I feel about this? Is this really be happening? Why now? As he is coming to terms with how his life will potentially change, Jill throws a whole tantrum! 👀 She had me looking a her a lil different cuz, what did you think YOUR man was going to do with that information? Step up like a man is supposed to! I understand that you are frustrated about how this will impact you and your plans, but what about your man? The man you are preparing to give yourself to, for better or worse. The first storm that comes into your life you ready to pout and run for the hills? Girl bye! You betta pull up them big girl panties, take a deep breath and push forward! If not, get the hell on!🤬 This is Black we talkin’ about, and when has he ever let you down!! 😇
While Jill is still in her feelings, she has a health scare, and Black is right there picking up the pieces. Praying for her and supporting her, no questions asked. Do you feel small yet Jill? 🤷🏾♀️😡 (Yes, I’m still pissed at her). 😂 Little Miss Grace Raven is the sweetest, smartest little girl ever! How could you not love her? The way she stepped into a space and charmed everyone was so damn cute.
NOW, Mr. Junie….. He has me really intrigued with the conversations he had with Blume. Come through holy hood! 😂 I really think I am going to love him! Blume seems to be a wild mess, but I believe that she will allow this man to lead her, whether she believes it now or not! What have these brother been up to, and what will Blume respond? Looking forward to the next Coalman brother exclusive! ❤ Great job ma'am! 👍👍👍

Grace's parents
Where do I start, this series just keeps getting better as the brothers find love. Black and Jill went through some muddy waters at one point but they treaded through. The storm hit with an unexpected child and health scare. After being in a relationship for so long they came through all the storms and were marked 🚩 "safe." I love how Black was instantly on Jill about what was going on with her. He immediately went into protection mode and started making calls. He made sure no matter what he was going to be there for her. Oh, and Grace was a doll. Her mannerisms, love for affection, and straight-shooter attitude were all Black. She was most definitely his child. Her intellect for a seven-year-old was superb. She was the deciding factor in their relationship and she rocked the boat in the right direction. Jill fell in love with Grace. I am in love with this little family I'm ready to read about any additions to the family. After all the years Black and Jill were together it was time to tie the knot legally. The mere fact their father was in attendance at the wedding was a shocking surprise.
I am looking forward to the next installment in this series because Blume is about to bring all the smoke 💨 for Junie. I really want to see if he can hold his ground with her being under his roof. If you haven't got into this series, do it! You will be thoroughly entertained.

In loving the crumbs!
I am really loving these stories and look forward to the next one. There are a lot of characters, but I can keep this bunch straight in my head. I am so happy the drama between Jill and Black was palpable. Also,Jill and Black needed this conclusion because, their amazing relationship deserved this version. I was only worried for a chapter or two. Overall, I am always happy the way each story ends in this Bread Crumbs series. ***No spoilers here***

With each book. Ashantay makes it harder to choose a favorite couple.
.For a minute, I wasn't sure I was going to keep liking Jill. I understand that things changed, but she wasn't really being fair to Black. I'm loved the fact that he does doesn't hide anything from her. They had withstood any years together, and I was rooting for more. I like how he supported her during her health scare. Her love for Black is evident, and she really was working to accept Grace's presence. Wedding bliss, faith, and love will lead them into the next chapter of their lives.
Next up, Junie and Blume.

Couple goals
I love Black and Jill characters. The love they have for one another and how they always put God first is beautiful. I enjoyed the conversations the female were having and how they were teaching the new ladies and uplifting there man. Grace is the cutest little Black. I can't wait for Jill to have Blacks baby I pray it's a boy. Ashantay you wrote a beautiful love story. I enjoy these two families so much.

Jill had me side eyeing when it came to Grace Raven( beautiful name btw). He was there for her with her cancer scare no questions asked, but she acted a fool about the baby. Even after he was there for her. I loved the way both couples were mature when it came to getting the DNA test done, meaning no naming calling and rolling off the eyes. Great job

Growth and an unbreakable bond. Real ❤️
Black is so sweet and that scene in target my heart dropped when he saw Grace. To see her and she that she looks just like him with the same birthmark wow.
Now Jill reaction was very selfish to be honest. She was thinking about what they wanted as if he made the baby on her when it was before her time.
It’s sucks that she found the lump and it seems that this is why she’s had a change of heart. Lmbo how she now wanted to make love when he told her why he could see why Mercy was confused……
Wow that was an even more selfish responses to finding out that Grace was his father damn wow.
I’m glad everything turned out fine with Jill.
I did feel some type of way when he called to tell Mercy that Grace was going to be in the wedding it was the way he said it. I’m not asking you I’m telling wow like really it’s not like Mercy was going to say no anyway but dang. They all need to build a great foundation and coparenting for Grace they can all be good friends believe it or not because Mercy nor Black want anything to do with each other. I see the makings of a wonderful bond between them in the future.
To see her growth because she knew black wasn’t going to walk away from his child was awesome. She grew to love Grace and wow when black threw the pills away saying we don’t need them I just knew she was going to go off. It was awesome to see black as a father he was so natural at it. Can’t wait to hear about him and Jill with a baby. But it was so sweet to see her follow her man lead because she knows he won’t steer her wrong was so heartfelt.

Author Ashantay does it again with a fire book
This story had me hooked from the jump I was super excited to read about Black and Jill’s story. It made me believe again in true love and romance and that through the rest of time couples still can over come obstacles. When Ashantay stated in the beginning keep an open mind my mind immediately went to thinking the worst. Their story turned out beautifully. No spoilers here but it’s a must read if you a sucker for romance. These brothers are everything and more. Their love is unconditional. Thank you for blessing us with this story.

I'm definitely hooked on this series. The way Black and Jill love each other, you know they will overcome anything. Jill had me worried for a minute with her attitude. You can't change the past its either move past it or over and out of the situation. Loved black attitude towards every thing thrown at him also. Very good positive read and great outcome.

In this adventure with the Coalman peeps, I was just about tossed and turned with every type of emotion. What I inferred wasn’t even close to the events that occurred but I’m pleased. I hate it ended just as I was getting deeper intrigued.

Jill and Blacks story was so beautiful. I love their dynamic and the way they communicate their feelings. They leave no room for speculation, and when angry know how to be there for the other and comfort.

This series has had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. From Diamond & Aziz to Denim and Diesal and now Black and Jill, the author did not disappoint! The love, spice, uplifting, reality of life, communication, and framily made by heart smile…..Now bring in Junie and Blume!

Not Enjoyable
This is my 3rd book by this author and I struggled through this one because 1) It felt disjointed 2) Big reveals were extremely mishandled and 3) Jill- everything about her was a NO and the minute she started acting funny about Black's newly revealed daughter this book was over for me. I didn't care anything about her health scare or her wedding after that, and I side eyed Black for still being with her. Add to that, I read this book under the impression that it was about Black and Jill, but this book was about everybody and their mama. The epilouge didn't even mention the main lead characters. I was honestly just thrown off by so many things about this book that it was not an enjoyable read for me, and the only character that I liked was Grace.

I give Bread Crumbs 3, 5 stars because I love the way all of the stories have come together. This is a family made up of many strong minded men who are very handsome lol. To hear their stories and how they don’t always agree but family is so important to them. Oh did I mention the love scenes are so detailed… oh my. I can’t wait to read part 4… let’s get it.
