Emme Rollins is a NEW YORK TIMES Bestselling Author of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She’s been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor’s and a master’s, one of which she’s still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the “real world,” because when she isn’t writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer dog, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

There was a warning on Goodreads about his being a full legnth novel and if that's what it was, I need a novel and a half. This book just seemed unfinished, the ending was way to abrupt, I wanted to know what Sabrina decided to do with Rob. There was no ending, no epilogue, nothing to make me give this book the five stars I wanted to.

It starts with a fantasy, Sabrina going to a rock concert in hopes of meeting the lead singer Rob Burns, which she does in quite an unladylike way. I was into the lust or attraction these two showed for each other right away, it made sense because Sabrina was up for whatever when she dressed for the concert.

We go through two days of sex, eating and talking with Rob and Sabrina. He is comfortable with her and tells her stuff he doesn't tell anybody. Sabrina knows the basics about Rob's life as she has crushed on him for years, but he feels like he can tell her more, and does.

After day two reality hits and now Rob and Sabrina have to figure out what this thing really is for them. Too bad for us we never get to know the answer to that question. The. Book. Just. Ends. I went looking for the second one, a novella or anything more on Rob Burns and Sabrina Taylor and came up empty handed. What a bummer, this couple needs their story finished as it was a great start.

*Update* There is a second book to this series which gives us more on the Rob and Sabrina saga.

This was a quick, hawt little read about a regular girl that meets her fantasy rock star and falls in love with the man behind the persona. It happens over a weekend and the author does an excellent job at showing us the H & h's connection.

I'm a huge fan of live music and I loved the time spent in the Detroit Blues Club. Totally a place I'd love to spend my Sat nights.

From many of the reviews I read, lots of readers are upset by the ending.

I think the ending was dead on true for both the characters. If the h would have made any other choice, it would have been in direct contrast to the person we see her to be during the prior story. I likethat I could relate to the h's decision. It added just a tiny dose of realism to a fantastical story. Maybe we will get to see them again in a later story. Even if we don't, I'm happy imagining what happens next...

Another mediocre romance about every teenage girl's dream to meet their celebrity crush and have instant-chemistry with them. This insta-love fell flat for me because it took place over the span of 2-3 days and the male romance lead was married. The technical writing wasn't terrible but wasn't amazing either. Trouble was chock full of typos and definitely needs an editor. Also, there were some interesting inclusions about one of Sabrina's black students which in turn created a brief weird racial dynamic.

Sabrina was depicted as a fan-crazed twit, with stalker-like tendencies towards Rob. Of course, Rob overlooked them and found Sabrina magically captivating even though there was no definitive characteristic that set her apart from any other obsessed fan. Rob seemed to be this disillusioned rocker on the verge of possibly giving up his career. He is also married, so if you're against infidelity (even if the couple is separated) this may not be the book for you. Also, the ending was rather abrupt with absolutely no foreshadowing as to what would happen in the future between Sabrina and Rob. There are a lot of revisions that could be made to this novella. I suggest the author hire an editor, otherwise this is a lackluster tale that I can't recommend. All-in-all, if you want a predictable romance with subpar writing, no drama, and ridiculously cheesy sex scenes, give Meeting Trouble a whirl.

What can I say... I'm a sucker for rock stars!!
I saw that this book had a lot of mixed reviews, but I Loved it <3
This was truly my dream come true. I'm a huge rock fan and I've always fantasized about meeting one of my favorites by accident and having him falling madly inlove with me and my different no bullshit personality... and this book is just that and more! Because it has a bonus ultra hot sex thrown there in the mix ...HAWT!
I so wanted Rob and SO wanted to be Sabrina!!
It's easy to read, a little short, but I didn't mind because is the first book of the series and the sequel starts just when the first one finishes... so it's all good for me.
It needs a little editing but would totally recommend if you (like me) don't mind a little fairy tale in the mix.... because come on! A teacher and a rockstar?
I'm a teacher BTW ;)

I just finished Meeting Trouble and I really loved it. Rob and Sabrina are so cute and sexy together. At the beginning Sabrina and her friend Katie are trying to get into a concert featuring Trouble. They were late so they are locked out. Someone finally opens the door but knocks her down in the process. Helping her up is Rob the lead singer for Trouble with his band mate Tyler. They of course have an instant connection, he gives them backstage passes and they are already front row ticket holders so this is just complete it for them. Rob is sexy, alluring, and sweet. Sabrina is loyal, practical and pretty. They make a very cute couple. How will this work with Rob being on tour and Sabrina a teacher? You will have to read and see.

I loved the story, very quick and satisfying. I usually do not like the quick I love you's unless it is done right and to me this was believable.

Of course the sex scenes were amazing, I figured they would be since leading up to it, the story was well written and the sexual tension between them so was thick, there was just no way it would suck...!

The only thing I can say that I didn't like was the ending, I wanted MORE. Not the authors fault, me as spoiled as I am just wanted it to go on!

If you are looking for a sexy, quick read, especially about a rock star, this one is for you. You will not be disappointed

For me Meeting Trouble was a highly entertaining novella about a rockstar falling in love with its fan.

I really liked Sabrina and Rob. They were fun characters and had an amazing chemistry together. I enjoyed how they spent some together and had some laughs with them.

Something happened a bit too fast but still I enjoyed this book a lot and I am looking to read more about the two as well as Katie and Tyler.

The writing style is fast-paced and enjoyable.

This was a decent book. It was nice to see that it wasn't a story where the girl just fawned all over the guy because he was a rock start. I guess that was the secondary character, Katie. I really liked the jazz twist to the book when they went to Hamtramck. That part was really interesting. I'd love a follow up to this book to know what happens to both couples after the tour.

She is a kindergarden teacher during the day and a groupie by night...
Her fantasies all revovle around Rob Burns, she has never met him however has listened to enough of his music.. Then she locks herself out of his concert and meets him.. and then..nothing!

On to the next!
A whole lot of un-realistic (my opinion).. I need more character build up, I need more "real world" scenario.. The ending was a big cliffy but other then that? I'm over it! Eh who cares?

This isn't written half bad- which is why I finished it
The character building was not impressive but not that bad either
But the plot? It was just a string of cliches!
I mean yeah it's a rocker hottie novel- so some cliche comes with the territory... But every single one out there?! Hmm, well maybe just not? Then add to that the whole insta- everything and anything - and this went from ok to why?

This book was just ok for me. I did not like the ending and thought there must be some mistake. The book just all of a sudden ends. Does anyone know if there is another book? I know it was a novella, but an epilogue or something would have been nice.

one perfect day...
one married rock star
one crazy best friend
one teeny tiny skirt
and a pair of leggings to rule the world

I wanted more than a day
..guess it's good it's a series but it hurt the book because you can tell the author is trying to make it one it doesn't flow completely smooth

This was a pretty good story. I liked Sabrina and Rob and their story was well written and enjoyable. This is the first story I've read by this author and I liked it well enough I'll probably read more of her work in the future. This story is part of a serial romance and I some how missed this and started reading before I realized it. While I was a bit frustrated knowing it would end in a cliffy, it wasn't actually too bad and I was alright with how it left off.

Sabrina is a grade school music teacher that lives in Detroit, MI. She's the daughter of a police man and a teacher and grew up in a loving but practical household. She has a beautiful voice but didn't follow her dreams of becoming a singer due to her practical upbringing.

Rob is the lead singer of a rock band named Trouble. The band is very popular and Rob is doing well. Rob grew up in Foster care and isn't in contact with his family. He's married but is separated from his wife.

Sabrina and her friend go to see Trouble in concert when they come to Detroit on tour. They get turned around and end up at the wrong door. Just when they're figuring they'll have to find another door, it slams open and bangs Sabrina in the head. Rob and another band mate come out and when the door falls closed again all 4 are locked out of the concert venue. Rob saves Sabrina from falling down a flight of stairs and fusses over her bump on the head (from the door) and Sabrina is just shocked to be meeting Rob. When they do finally get in the door, Rob gets Sabrina backstage passes and promises to see her after the show. Sabrina doesn't know why she's getting this attention from Rob and thinks maybe it's because he's worried about her suing him for hitting her with the door.

After the concert, Rob finds Sabrina and soon they take off together to hit a blues club. Rob works on convincing her that he likes her and wants to be with her and they decide to enjoy each other's company. They have a great night together and don;'t want it to end so they decide to spend the next day together since the tour isn't moving on until the day after. As Rob and Sabrina spend the time together, it becomes obvious that they have a lot in common and a lot of the same likes and dislikes. They talk about their pasts and truly start to get to know each other. There is sort of an insta-love situation because by the end they've both fallen for each other. There's some drama about how things will end because she can't go with him and he can't stay but it ends in a HFN with them planning to be together once the tour ends.

This was a pretty enjoyable story. I liked both Sabrina and Rob and wanted to see them together. The plot was pretty normal for this type of story but yet it's very well written and was more then just sex, you could see Rob and Sabrina connect as they talked and spent time together. My only frustration with the story was it ending in a cliffy (and that was my own fault for not realizing that before I started) but even the way it ended wasn't a bad cliffy so it wasn't as bad as I expected. I may read more of the serial in the future. I'd recommend it (if your ok with it being a serial with a mild cliffy ending). :D

* note - I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator did a pretty good job.

This book grabbed me right from the start. It's the dream scenario: sweet girl gets nearly knocked out by the rock star that her dreams are made of only to find that they have an immediate mutual attraction!

Rob is sweet and tender behind the scenes but a demon performer and someone who Sabrina has been dreaming about since her teenage years so when she accidentally meets him and realises that they both feel an attraction to one-another she's torn over what to do. Sabrina is a good girl and no into one-night-stands but hey, this is the lead singer of "Trouble" and who can say no to Rob Burns.

After spending the evening together though and realising that they both have a lot in common, Sabrina decides that if one night is all she has with Rob then one perfect night it will be. Rob has other plans though and spends every moment with her until he needs to return to the tour bus. Now falling hard for Sabrina though, Rob is torn and wants her next to him on tour but Sabrina has a job, house and her sensibility and she struggles to decide what to do.

The story continues with Rob and Sabrina trying to make their new found relationship work.

“I’m falling for you so hard I can’t see straight. The answer to whatever question you’ve got rolling around in your head is yes. Yes. I’m so yours it hurts. And it happened so fast I’m still trying to get my wind back.”

I couldn't wait to start the next instalment after finishing this book and dare I say it, it's even better than book 1 with more twists and turns.

If you like your band-based books but are looking for a lighter but still smokingly hot read then this book is definitely for you.

This was a free download.

I'm going to start this review off with a little mini-rant about two things that really bug me, because both happened in this novel.

1) The editing in this book is pretty shoddy. There are typos and grammatical errors, poor sentence structure, etc. Sadly, I'm seeing this a lot. What happened to the professionally edited books of yore, that didn't have typos and spelling errors? Can we bring those back? (And it happens with a lot of Pub Houses, too, not just with the self-pub set)

2) This is 2014. The age of technology, savvy women and safe sex. So why would a person have unprotected sex with a near-stranger? Especially a near-stranger who happens to be a rockstar and spreads his favors around? No. No no no no no. Did I say no? Thankfully we don't see this too often anymore, but it does happen and it pulls me out of the story every single time. Every.single.time. Authors, fcol, make your boys wear condoms! Especially when your story features a one-night-stand.

Aside from the lack of editing and the unprotected sex, the story fell pretty flat. Sabrina was obsessed with the band, caught the eye of the married lead singer and took him home for a weekend. They fell in love. Then he asks her to tour with him, which means giving up her job as a school teacher right in the middle of the school year. All this in two days? Okaaaay...no.

Did I say no?

Free download. I have to say this is exactly what a dream come true would be, girl fantasises about famous guy, meets him by accident, has a fling with him and ends up falling in love, HEA. This was a great read, funny characters and nice story. Sabrina is a normal girl, lives alone, works as a teacher and has a practical mind but her one fantasy is Rob Burns, lead singer in the band 'Trouble' that is until she literally bumps into him at a concert and they both connect. Rob is different and she finds herself falling even though she knows he's leaving to continue on tour in a couple of days. They decide to share a perfect time together before he has to leave.
I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. The writing is good, the plot is great, and the love scenes are hot. The angst is not really present but it's not required for this story, I'm guessing it's coming in the sequel. Would recommend.

Sabrina can't believe her luck, she finally gets a chance to see her band from the front row and finds herself locked out of the concert. Bumping her head and finding the lead singer, Rob Burns at her rescue though is more than she comprehend.

What starts with a full access passes and a whispered word of wanting to talk later, turns to a weekend with Rob. Sabrina and Rob click on all cylinders, but will it only be the weekend or is there a chance at something more.

Entertaining story. I felt like there was a bit of a teaser to this, the story could have developed more in several places. This is a light read, the chemistry is there between the characters and I thought overall well written, it just need a bit of fill in the blanks.

This book was ok for me. It's a novella so it's short and that means a lot happens fast and ultimately maybe that's my problem. I liked it, but it felt like they were in love within 2 minutes of meeting each other and then when I found out . I don't know. I liked it, but it just wasn't one for my fave list.

I loooooved this book!

Maybe because I'm a 23 year old nursery teacher who still spends her weekends at gigs jumping and screaming along to her favourite bands! (Very much like Sabrina.) A girl can only dream *sigh*

I was hooked from the very first page of this book, this book made me set my alarm an hour early just so I could squeeze in a few chapters before work.

I need more, I didn't want this story to end.

I just realized that the original title of this novel "Happy Accidents" fits it a lot better than Meeting Trouble. Or at least I like it better.
However, this novel is pretty much what I expect of a novel called 'Meeting Trouble'. But at least I wasn't disappointed and I enjoyed this read - as light and simple as it was.

I really enjoyed this author's book Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins, so was expecting good things for this story too. I was not disappointed. Sabrina meets rockstar Rob Burns in a cute, bumbling scene that belonged in a on screen romantic comedy. I believe the writer did a good job of making their attraction balanced and believable. 4 stars.

So, obviously this isn't the kind of book that's going to be in the running for the Man Booker anytime soon... but it is a rather fun bit of wish fulfilment and hit the spot in more senses than one! Plus, it's a romance novel where they don't get married at the end! Practically revolutionary.

Po druhom čítaní ešte dodávam, že je to dosť "dutá" kniha.

Dúhy, jednorožce a sem-tam nejaký svetoznámy spevák. Milé odreagovanie, ale radšej nie príliš často, aby človek z toho nedostal cukrovku. :)
