All my kinks and then some wrapped up in a romance. Charge your batteries if you do not have a plug in. I absolutely loved this book. This book is better experienced by reading the first one in this duet. Heather and Kyle take a back seat in this story as Marcus comes to the forefront. Marcus is looking for his perfect woman to transform this threesome into a kinky quartet. A couple of test runs in the previous book left me feeling a bit let down. When I started to read this book, I remained wary because I didn't think Marcus's perfect partner would show up. Boy was I wrong.

Candace has yet again written a fantastic story.
I love the characters, old and new, but I didn't always like what they did.
Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, I just found some of the acts confronting and really thought-provoking.

So glad that Marcus, Heather, and Kyle found their fourth and that this person fit so well with the dynamic.

Looking forward to reading more from Candace. Either in this series or in others.

Adding Amy as Their fourth!!

Wow what a family dynamic that is! Personally, I'm monogamous. I tried it,He was in a committed relationship with a Dome & though we were friends we didn't play at all. It ended because of her jealousy! So though I have many friends who are Polyamorous, I am not!

So this foursome was amazing to watch grow. First, in the beginning with Kyle & Heather joining with Marcus. Which helped Heather really find herself sexually. Adding Amy to their group as Marcus' slave was really nice to read. They all had a part in the family & rules that pertained to each one. Of course Amy had the most being the slave. I've said it before but I'll say it again, masochism is a huge turn on for me!! It's absolutely amazing! To have no voice about what happens, but on the other hand, already agreeing to everything that would happen & LOVING it all!! WOW!!!! Just so intriguing. There are definitely times that I want more & more! Only the big part for me is a loving relationship to go along with it all. And that's exactly what happens here in this two book Series! Actually, it's what happens in all of the Safeword Series!! I just love how intense that love is! And it's just as intense in this foursome. They all love each other & they either love to hurt the other or need to be hurt by one of them.

This story is amazing! I loved every step of the way. To me having love with the D/s or M/s relationships is the icing on the cake!! It's a beautiful thing to read about & Candace does it right!! Not to mention throwing in some of the people from the other stories. I just love that about Series. Especially, the way Candace has written the group of Series here. They all intertwine with each other even if some don't know the whole story of the others lives. Like Eric & Kendra sleeping all day with plans to meet them later. LOL We know why but Heather's like, Huh?? LMAO

Yeah Candace Blevins is my favorite Author of Fantasy & Lifestyle stories!! Of course it does help that she also lives the lifestyle. So she really knows what she's writing about. And I'm sure she knows enough people with different kinks to ask them for guidance on the scenes so they are real scenes!!!

In this book, as with the series, you the sense of friendship, love, and therapy.
I enjoyed Heather's journey in learning about her needs. We were there right with her during her awakening.
I loved these characters and we caught up with old ones and met some new ones.
There are moments of spice and kink, but I enjoyed the traditional romance storyline just as much.

Candace Blevins’ second book in the Safeword: Mayday duology picks up where book one ends and…wow. The blurb does warn that this story goes to unexpected places. Admittedly, since this IS a Candace Blevins book, it shouldn’t be THAT unexpected, but she got me and I loved every moment of it. In case you haven’t figured it out, this duology is a high-octane power exchange with a hierarchical structure that worked amazingly well. And I LOVED how well each person (and couple) worked within the larger relationship as well as the smaller ones. It’s one of those situations of trying to find yourself in a crowd and she pulls it off in a compelling way that made this story a page-turner for me.

Marcus is diabolical and downright creative and I loved how well Heather’s own foray into the D-side of D/s worked so well with her personality. And I loved how Kyle spoke up more and took more initiative in terms of getting his own needs met in the group dynamics. Seeing Marcus and Kyle together was definitely swoony. And their fourth…while she had the most at stake, she also seemed the most prepared to accept the power dynamics. In that regard, she’s also one of the more experienced, but at the same time, still had a lot to learn.

This IS a romance and I was happy to see that some of the baggage that the characters had in book 1 were slowly being figured out. Or at least, they were making attempts to do so. And I loved that Kirsten was playing a part in that. As someone who’s read most of Ms. Blevins books (both paranormal and contemporary), I really loved Heather’s confusion over some of the things Kirsten said and her questioning why Kendra wasn’t available at times.

If you love reading stories with strong characters in unconventional relationships participating in devious activities, get your batteries charged, and find a place to read where you won’t be interrupted. Now, if you’ll excuse me. Mine should have finished charging by now.

Extreme kink, fast-paced, and intriguing

I liked how this book started with a new heroine and her background story. I was relieved when I learned that no one was a homewrecker. I enjoyed how the fourth person was well integrated in the group and in the story itself, she fitted and was introduced eloquently. This story was intriguing and fast-paced, I finished it in 2 days.

Here are my favourite things in the book:
-the communication, the importance of mental health and therapy
-the poly group makes sense, I can believe they will make their relationship work. They seems well balanced and respectful in their relationship
- I love cameos from Kristen and the mention of Ethan and Sam
- I liked to see the growth of Heather, Kyle, and their fourth
-I found it interesting to learn the mindset of a slave
-I like how it was low angst

Here are some of the points that made me uneasy:
-some of the kink is extreme with permanent consequences and the scenes with bodily fluids were shocking to me
- for me, Marcus was underdeveloped compared to the three others. I would have like more background story about him. The other three needed to work through their traumas but it seems that Marcus's traumas were not explicitly addressed 'on screen'.

I recommend this book to fans of intense kink, well-written polygroup

Marcus, Kyle and Heather are working on building their relationship while on the look out for some one who will fulfill Marcus' need for a slave.
Safeword Mayday-Adding Their Fourth by Candace Blevins is intense. It was also unexpected. The woman who ended up completing their budding family isn't who I expected. But as Ms. Blevins took us on this journey she fit. I will state that boy the communication required not only in a poly relationship but a dominant/slave dynamic is not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed seeing Heather and Kyle become more comfortable with their needs and desires. I loved seeing Marcus find someone who met his need for complete control. I loved that he found a balance that felt real. I also loved that this part of the story focused more on his needs and adding someone new to their dynamic. I found Ms. Blevins description so real at times it made me uncomfortable but not in a bad way. She gave me an insight into something so outside my understanding. Having said that I still enjoyed learning something new. I enjoyed getting a peek into an intense lifestyle need. This story felt real. It felt believable. It was an intense power exchange that Ms. Blevins articulated with a delicate hand.

Wow, you're in for a ride. Intense, lots of different kink, power exchange and emotional confrontation so it's never a dull moment.

I must say I expected who the fourth will be and I was so happy for Marcus. He was holding back before and it seemed that adding the forth benefited them all. It seems like their relationship went on another growth spurt and I loved the emotional aspect of it all. Marcus came more in a front row and his sadistic side is all out. Even Heather is more at home and instinctive in her Domme role.
First I was struggling with the dynamics between Marcus and his slave because I didn't understand it fully but he explained it to Heather a lot of times so it became logical after a while.
"I need the kind of ownership that's so all-encompassing, the totality of it is proof it's real"
Finding out more about the past is also filing some puzzles that were left out.

The kink in the book is over the top. I loved every scene, the preparation, building, role playing... the whole lot. When reading Ms. Blevins books I always know I'm in for a great kinky ride. Every aspect is put together with purpose and i fall in love with every character. Two words to describe it all - absolutely amazing.

Intense and extreme were words that kept running through my mind as I read Safeword Mayday-Adding Their Fourth, which makes this book fit perfectly into the Safeword series. Candace Blevins most assuredly knows how how to turn up the heat and the volume in each spicy scenario. I won't lie, I did cringe a few times while I read as some of the scenes unfolded. Marcus finally fulfills his dream of owning a slave that he also loves. He unleashes his sadistic dominance (with a capital S) on the woman who welcomes it and loves him for it. After months together they find that Marcus's slave is the missing piece of puzzle their poly group needed. She's filled the void seamlessly. Heather becomes more comfortable in her Dominant role as she shares control of their slave and handles Kyles need for service better. She crosses off a huge feat on her bucket list and receives world wide attention as a result. Not only does Kyle reach a significant milestone, he expands his role within the group beyond being a service submissive. The future holds exiting possibilities for them all.

This book is the second part to the duo for Safeword: Mayday and it continues where the last left off. Marcus, Heather and Kyle have structured a relationship but know that Marcus is searching for someone who can fulfill his needs..

I certainly was not expecting the person who ends up becoming their fourth, but it totally made sense. And wow, the intricacies of what that entails, the communication, the feelings, just….the power. It was very enlightening to see how they, all four, find a balance with each of their kinks and needs.

Their whole lifestyle is very intense and so fascinating to read as only Ms. Blevins can write. She conveys all the details that as we read them, gives us a look into their dynamics and takes us into a very wild ride.

Wow, that was just so good! There was just so much in this story. While we see the changing dynamics from adding another person, we also see how all 4 characters grow, develop, connect, and feel for each other. This is beyond two couples, it truly is four people making connections, forging ties, and having a place in their found family. The BDSM scenes changed depending on who was involved, kinks were explored, and satisfaction was achieved all around. I just loved the depth and genuineness of the actions, reactions, emotions, and love that these four express with each other <3

The entire Safeword Series is on point, the latest and the great new read is definitely all Candace. The kink combined with life situations brilliant.
The tri-couple and the 4th still learning not only about themselves but about each other. The descriptions that the writer penned for us definitely made one think.
Amazing characters and personalities and that they meshed and learn to mesh, they all knew what they wanted and what it would take to get it. I think they all added to the relationship and maybe even gave up a bit of their own hard lines. Totally fab read enjoy.

• The way the trio had become even closer together was wonderful to see. Their romance mixed with that sadism that only Ms. Blevins can supply made my heart sing.
• I opened this book at 1:30 in the morning and couldn't put it down. Yes I was awake all night drowning in the sensations that fed my soul.

This installment has Marcus finding his other adding their fourth. This story is harsher and more brutal. This is not for the faint of heart. The characters are hurt in ways they’ve given consent for but oh my it gets intense. Warning there is a consensual non consent scene that shocked me. I am glad these four have found each other because their kink is not my kink but its okay because they’ve found each other.

***No Spoilers here – Safeword: Mayday -- Adding Their Fourth pulled me in, wrapped me up and kept me up all night reading! I was enraptured with the development of this story and characters. Not for the faint of heart, Candace once again brings to her pages complex characters and an outstanding storyline. Adding Their Fourth was the bow on the package that was Safeword Mayday! I absolutely LOVE this group! Eagerly and impatiently anticipating Candace’s next book.

Candace Blevins is a master of her craft and she proves it with this latest addition to the series. Her characters are as endearing as they are entertaining and the story line was engaging and kept me coming back for more. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

I voluntarily agreed to review an ARC of this book. I like this book but at times it got a little too intense for me, to give it a full 5 stars. With that said I can recommend this book to mature readers looking for a non-traditional romance with dashes of spicy, dark and scary moments.

Absolutely beautiful story. Tons of emotions in this book. A combination of intense bdsm scenes and the emotional side of caring and trust that goes along with it. Love this series. Best book ever!!!
