مملكة الفوضى
*لو اردنا ان نتحدث عن مبدا (معقول ) ما فى الطبيعة فانه سبكون المصادفة ولا شئ غير المصادفة فنحن نعيش فى عالم تحكمه الصدفة ! عالم لا يمكن فيه التحكم من شئ بدا .
* ولئن كانت المصادفة تلعب دورا سلبيا وغالبا ما يكون مدمرا فتخلق المصاعب للانسان وتتدخل فى حياته وتعيق التقدم عموما الا انه ينبغى لنا ان نتعود على التفكير فى المصادفة لا كعائق مزعج او مجرد (زائدة ) غير ضرورية _كما يعرّفها الفلاسفة _ وانما كنبع لامكانيات لا حصر لها ولاحتمالات لا يستطيع اى خيال جامح ان يدركها . فهى قد تكون عمياء وقد تكون نافذة البصيرة حادة الذكاء .انها تدمر حتما ولكنها تخلق ايضا تسبب الاسى بالظبط كما تبعث المسرة تعيق طبعا لكنها تعين فى الوقت نفسه .
*فى هذا الكتاب النادر المثيل يغوص عالم السبرنتينة الروسى ليونارد راستريغين فى ذلك العالم المجبول بالفوضى والعشوائية واللا انتظام ليكشف لنا عن آليات عمل المصادفة والتحكم فى الاساطير والالعاب وصالات القمار وبارات المدينة وقصص الاطفال الخرافية ......وفى الحروب والجرائم والصناعات ...كما فى الكائنات الحية والتطور والطب ... الى اخره . كل ذلك باسلوب سهل وممتع حتى اذا انتهى القارئ منه اكتشف ان الجرعة العلمية التى قدمها له كانت دسمة بحق وشيقة بحق .

5 books2 followersLeonard Andreevich Rastrigin (Russian: Леонард Андреевич Растригин) - scientist in the field of cybernetics and computer science, doctor of technical sciences, professor at the Riga Polytechnic Institute.
He graduated in aircraft design from the Moscow Aeronautical Institute and, in 1960, presented his Ph.D. thesis on mechanics. He then made a 179 - degree turn and ' retreated ' into cybernetics, where he studied random search - a new technique for finding optimum solutions to complex problems.
Cybernetics brought him both joy and sorrow. His work in this field has gained him his doctorate and a professorship, and he is now Director of the only random search laboratory in the world. Here his task is to vindicate the claims of random search and to demonstrate its advantages in practical applications.

Terrific book on probability. The best I've read.
We used to get these Russian books on science in India at dirt cheap prices, thanks to communism and the Soviet Union. My only regret at its demise is that I lost this treasure trove.

كتاب مفيد في تحليل مفهوم الفوضي وكيف يمكن قياس الصدفة للوقوف علي الاسباب المؤدية لها .. المزعج في الكتاب هو المقاربات التي يصر مؤلفها علي التجريب و الشرح بها

This is a really great book to read. I consider this a gentle introduction to cybernetics..
The book is split into two parts. In the first, the author explains "chance" and how it can affect us. In the second part, the authors begins by making a dichotomy between the induction and deduction methods, and he clearly he takes a stand. From this point, he introduces ways of "fighting" chance.
The author is enthusiastic about the subject and you will certainly feel it..
