FOREVER AWESOME!!!!
Fantastical-Magical!!!! As if Brennan didn't have me completely enamored already...he has a freakin' unicorn!!!?!!! Yeah, this was meant to be! Sorry Rubes, I MUST HAVE HIM!! :D
The best yet! I am overjoyed after finishing this book. It is everything I hoped it would be & more. This series is so fan-freakin-tastic that I do not have the words to explain how much I LOVE it. You just have to read it to truly understand! Julie brings this magical story to life in such a spectacular way that I truly am in awe. With fairies, dragons, mermaids, royalty, magic, & more I was hooked from the very beginning. Uncontrollably falling deeper & deeper in love as each new chapter continued, each besting the last. I believe this tale will undoubtedly continue on Forever.

BTW...I happen to agree fully with Nathaniel Parkinson's Foreword in Forever Blue!! He totally nailed it!
Please do not be fooled this is not a story for young readers, it is a story for ALL readers!
A small warning ... you may not want to share this with others in your household until you've had a chance to finish unless you enjoy them nagging you to hand over the Kindle nonstop. ;-) I should know since my pre-teen has recently declared herself Ruby's #1 fan (which we argue about plenty), & I literally had to hide my Kindle until I finished reading it. Although one advantage that is quite fun ~ having someone to join in conversations in fluent Jeremy. :) Just ignore those crazy looks you may receive from those who have not yet been introduced to his Awesomeness!

I'm so sad to see this series end! It's been, by far, my favorite YA series, and is the only one that I've read as many times as Harry Potter. It's that good! Full of magic and mystery, this installment when have you on the edge of your seat, wondering how Ruby will manage to thwart the latest evil creature to threaten her and the ones she loves. 5 stars for fairy awesomeness!!

I loved every word and every minute I spent reading this book. It is the 4th and final book in the Ruby Blue series. I loved how everything came together and I am sad this series is over. Julie Cassar is an amazing author and her Ruby Blue series is for every age to read. It has romance, action and takes you to another world that is magical.

Oh. Right. I 'm not in the real world. I 'm in Fey....where magic, legends, and the stuff of fairy tales are real.
Including unicorns.


Ruby has found her Prince Charming. Literally. Brennan has professed his love to her and together they live happily ever after. *Pssh* As if. The road is not always paved in gold. At least not for Ruby. She is about to have the fight of her life in FOREVER BLUE. Everything else they have dealt with before now is minor in comparison. She and Brennan's love will be jeopardized and lives will be lost. Hang on tight folks, it is going to be a bumpy ride.

This series was so totally amazing. Re-sparking my love of all things faery. Cassar has given us a fabulous story filled with fairies and the amazing world of Fey. Yes! Ruby actually gets to go to Fey and meet the parents. Gasp! Although that is a bit awkward at first...everything is unbelievably magical. Fey captures Ruby's heart and she finds she never wants to leave.

But that is where the fun ends and the serious begins. Like I mentioned earlier, Ruby and Brennan have one heck of a fight coming up. Someone wants Ruby dead and will stop at nothing to make it happen. Brennan is doing everything he can to prevent it, but even he has his limitations. Will Ruby's energy be enough to help them through this? Maybe, maybe not. Only time will tell.

The romance. Oh the sweet beautiful romance. We are getting to see an entirely different side of Brennan in FOREVER BLUE. He is not the same spoiled, immature character we all met way back in RUBY BLUE. Oh no. He is maturing and letting his love for Ruby show. He wants everyone to know that he loves her and she loves him. They are life-mates and it is forever. And I gotta tell you, I like this guy. A lot. I love hearing him confess his undying love for her. Such a charming Prince charming.

I also love seeing how Ruby has matured as well. There were times this gal would grate on my nerves with her immature’ish ways. But over time, she has really grown up and I absolutely adore her. She has really accepted her fate much better than I ever would have. And now I am sad to say goodbye to her and this story.

But nope, it is not over. I will not accept this. So for it to end, well, I am not giving in to it. I know that Brennan and Ruby have more to tell. And I need to hear it. Maybe I don't have to accept it. Maybe Cassar has other plans. Hmmmmm....

So I conclude my rambling review of FOREVER BLUE. I hope you will have time to pick up this amazing series and give it a whirl. I am absolutely positive you will love it and inhale it as I did. It really is a must read.

Absolu-freaking-awesome!!!!!!
As with each book, this is the best of the series. Unfortunately its the last of the Ruby Blue series :( That I am so not happy about.
Miss Julie sure can write! She just draws you in so much, its like we are right there fighting dragons, having ice cream or trekking through the mountains with Ruby, Jeremy, Brennan and Anya. This time around was no different, I felt like I was looking at the dresses that Oona made for Ruby and Anya.
I devoured this in 24 hours only because I had to keeping stopping, but as I got to the end, I was so upset. I kept thinking no, this can't be there has to be more. No, there's no cliffhanger it's just the end of the series and I love this group so much.
I felt my heart break at a point during the story, but then it was healed again with joy. One book put me through so many emotions!!!
There is not alot of Jeremy in this book as there was in the other 3, but we still get his wonderful attitude and crazy words. This book was mostly Ruby and Brennan, and I missed Anya.
This is definitely a must read!!!

Goodbye, Ruby Blue!

In the last book of the series, everything comes to a head in terms of the action that has been following Ruby over the last three books, and we find out who is behind everything. And I thought Ka-Trampy was bad!

I loved following Ruby through her adventures. Brennan totally needs a new name, because "Prince-Not-So-Charming" does not fit him any more. The loving and protective side that we saw in this book was totally swoon-worthy!

Julie Cassar painted such a picture of Fey, I wanted to go! The settings were wonderful, and I was happy to travel there after hearing so much about Brennan and Anya's home for the past three books.

While I am sorry to see them go, they went out on such a high note, that I'm happy for Ruby and Brennan. Possibly selfish on my part, but I hope to read about Anya, maybe Jeremy in the future.

Julie Cassar really outdid herself with Forever Blue! This final book has heart-pounding action, a bunch of romance, and some awesome world-building! Despite the problems I had with the first book, I’m glad I continued with the series!

In Forever Blue, we get a few chapters from the point-of-view of Ruby’s enemies as they plot and scheme against her. I thought this inclusion kind of worked and kind of didn’t. On one hand, it gave me important information that would have been hard to write in elsewhere. On the other hand, there was an info dump or two that caused me to lose interest in the chapter. One particularly big info dump told all about the backstory of one of Ruby’s enemies and why he was plotting against her. I understand this was an important thing to mention, but I wish it was done differently.

One thing I really liked about this book is that we finally get to see the land of Fey! The world-building was awesome. Cassar gave us so many great descriptions, yet didn’t go overboard and bore the reader with too many details. I was easily able to picture everything. I think my favorite part of the world of Fey was the tree that lit up with bioluminescence! I wish there were trees like that on Earth! How cool!

I do wish that we had gotten to meet more creatures in Fey than we actually did. We meet a unicorn and some pixies, but that’s about it. I wanted the author to describe the crowds of creatures Ruby saw on the festival day, but she didn’t. We do get some descriptions of some mythological beings in other chapters of the book, though. For example, Brennan explains to Ruby what sylphs and harpies are. This is just a minor quibble I had, so don’t take it too seriously!

Another tiny thing that bugged me for some reason was the word “gulp.” Every time Ruby got nervous, she would literally say “gulp” in her thoughts. It just seemed like it was used WAY too much in this book. In fact, I did a search in my kindle copy of this book and it came up with 24 instances where it was used!

All in all, I really enjoyed this series! I would highly recommend the Ruby Blue series to anyone
who’s in the mood for some action, a swoon-worthy romance, or just a fast-paced book filled with memorable characters!

Ruby is back in this installment with her newly minted boyfriend, Brennan! In the last book they came together and in this book, the relationship develops. Her best friend Jeremy (my favorite character) is right there with her. Brennan stays with Ruby because although they dealt with the evil Katrina in the last book, there is still someone out to get her. She is Prince Brennan's Life mate and also the the Chosen One of prophecy. There are forces working against them that they can't figure out. They have to discover who is pulling the strings, who wants her out of the way, and do it before her or her friends are killed. Ruby is struggling with the abilities that she has and is discovering new abilities all through the book. She is, what the Fae refer to as, The Wingless Fairy, the master of all four elements, the one referred to in the prophesy in the Book of Feylinn, which is the keeper of all Fae secrets, history, and knowledge. Ruby and Brennan soon discover that they are both under attack and with each attack, Brennan is weakened to the point where he may not be able to protect Ruby when he really needs to. They need to find who has betrayed them and who wants them dead before it's too late. I loved this book! It's my favorite so far. I got to visit the land of Fae with Ruby and through the wonderful descriptions given by the author, I could almost visualize it. The characters and storyline are fantastic, fast paced, and full of comedic elements. ( Mostly from Jeremy, her trusty sidekick, he is gut busting, hilarious.) Like paranormal? This book has Fae, Pixies, Bigfoot, Trolls, Mermaids, Dragons, etc. etc. "I saw our old friend Afari, awkwardly give Jeremy a high five and then begin to dance with him. Jeremy was dancing with bigfoot! Where was my camera when I needed it." I can't recommend this series enough. If you haven't read it, go get it now, start from the first book. If you have read it, get this installment, it is the best one yet.

This is the fourth and final book in this fantastic YA series. I LOVED IT!

Ruby Blue is a fantastic character! She loves ice cream, converse shoes and being able to see fairies. Full of angst and sarcasm, she has a wit that kept me sniggering. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this character grow and develop through the series.

I began reading this book with mixed feelings. I have come to love these characters as friends, and have fallen in love with a few (mainly Brennan and Jeremy), so I was also a little sad that I would not be joining them in any new adventures after this book. However, I was swept away, and completely hooked by this story! I was enchanted with the description of Brennan and Anya's home in Fey, and the magical beings that lived there. There is adventure, action, drama and romance aplenty in this book, with splashes of humour that kept me giggling! Not to mention a prophecy to fulfill. However, there is a shocking twist that had me in tears! I was going "Noooooo! Say it isn't so!". Luckily, it wasn't as bad as I thought, and all's well that ends well! Ruby finds herself gaining more powers and facing a deadly foe, in the form of a white dragon called Helgynn. There is also a surprise near the end that made me virtually melt in my chair! Brennan is SO romantic! I would love to find a Fae Prince of my own one day!

Julie Cassar is one of my favourite authors, and I will read any of her books in the future. Her characters are very lifelike and virtually leap off the page! I also love her fast paced writing style, which seems to flow effortlessly from scene to scene.

Wow, I love this series. Have since paragraph one of book one. The story of a girl who loves ice cream. Talks to fairies etc, has captured my imagination from book one. In this, the latest book I can however comment on how much the author has grown. It is incredible to see how a talented author works on their craft. Growing better with each book. This book has the most amazing flow. It starts of, almost never lets up on character growth or adventure and if you figured that now that the love interest is fulfilled the book will be without tension think again.

I loved this book and by now I love the authors brother. At the start of every book she thanks him basically for kicking her behind in action. With every dedication I feels as if I get to know him better. That has absolutely nothing to do with the story. Or does it? Cause in the story you find a brother and sister combo (actually two), and I am sure much of their interaction is based on the authors love of her brother and their mutual respect and admiration that shines through.

This book has fairies, a love story, dragons, romance, a family life and so so much more. I simply love the fact that these books have little to no teenage angst. Kind of hard to feel sorry for yourself when dragons want you dead. It has prophecies, wingless fairies…argh. Read it. You will thank me.

Julie has done it again!! Forever Blue is a book that grabbed me by the heart and didn’t let go until I shut the book with a content sigh. Ruby Blue is finally with her “prince-not-so-charming” who finally is actually charming! She faces some challenges as someone is still out to take her out! You will hold your breath as her and her fairy friends encounter some deathly challenges. When I was reading the last couple chapters I felt like I was holding my breath! I couldn’t believe how Julie wound me around her finger as she pulled me into Ruby and Brennen’s love story. At first I was unsure if I liked all that “mushy gushy” stuff because of Brennen’s snarky attitude in the past, but as their tale began to unfold I really felt like this charming love story was just…perfect! I have to say I LOVED FEY!!!! Oh my word!!! The way Julie describes the fairy world was absolutely breath-taking. I felt like I was watching it unfold before me. It made me think of the movie avatar for some reason with all the colors and glowing trees, and flowers. Just..wow!!! Julie, you better write another book quick, because I’m going to go through with drawls! Very wonderful ending to a charming series!

What a lovely way to finish the series. In this book we uncover more of Ruby's hidden talents, confirming that Ruby's link to Fey is no mere coincidence. Although there is not as much ice-cream there's definitely more adventure! The adventures are more fun, and Ruby-Brennan love story is slightly cheesy but fits them well, although I never imagined Brennan could be so gentleman-like.

Ruby's relationship with Brennan gets very serious and I never imagined the surprising ending; no spoilers :P

I am incredibly sad to finish the series but I am just as sure that Julie will write up something even more fun to read soon!

Such a wonderful way to end a series! This book was so fun to read! I love Ruby and her friends and although my stomach was in knots a good amount of the time while I read this because I was trying to figure out what was going to happen, knowing this was it for now, I so enjoyed the way Julie put it all together and wrapped it up.

I agree with the intro to the book, I firmly believe that Julie is actually Ruby, she just doesn't want anyone to know.

What I liked about the book: Oddly enough, my favorite part was the ending. Getting everything figured out yet just enough room that you could see possible a spin-off, left me so very happy. I finished up with a smile on my face and a nice warm feeling.

What I didn't like: Knowing it was the end for this story line. It is always hard when you come to the end of a series, especially when you've grown so fond of the characters.

Would I recommend the book: This series is just so much fun. It is sweet, with just enough sass in it. I think it is definitely a worthwhile read.

The ending to this book was perfect! I'm so sad to see the series end because I absolutely love the characters and will miss them greatly. Jeremy and Ruby make me laugh with their snarky comments and crazy phrases! "Sizzling bacon with her fingertips??" Brennan makes me swoon with lines like "Kansas, I'll always catch you before you fall too hard." He truly is a fairy tale prince (teehee). From the beginning this series captured my interest. It has humor, action, romance,not to mention dragons and fairies, hello! I adore books with pop culture references too, this one has Wizard of Oz, True Blood and Harry Potter, three things I love and know a lot about so that added to even more of the appeal! From Book 1 I fell in love with this author's style of writing and placed her on my favorites list! This series makes the list of my top favorite series as well. I look forward to reading many more fashizzly-freaking-fantabulous books by this author! I'd give at least 10 stars if I could!!!

Talk about coming home! Picking this book up after months of waiting for its release, did in fact feel like meeting up with good friends after not seeing them for some time. Again the author surpasses my expectations in creating a world into which we are pulled in and held captive until the final words are written.

A fairy tale unfolds as Ruby and Brennan discover love, but she also discovers a hidden strength within herself as she is tested by fate and a certain dragon. Jeremy is back in typical splendorific form and again brings in so much humor and energy into the book. It is amazing that we can feel so much a part of a fictional character's life as we watch her evolve from a young silly girl in Ruby Blue and into a strong young woman taking the next step into Forever. Great ending to the story and I can't wait to see if there is more.. Great for YA of any age young and old alike!

I have to start off with saying this book is totally epic! I am totally hoping that this series hits the big screen. Because I could never get enough of Ruby Blue....and Brennen, Jeremy and Anya too of course. The detail of every aspect of this story was simply brilliant from clothing to location to emotions. I could feel the words jumping off of the pages. It is the story that I never want to end and yet, sadly, it is the finally of Ruby Blue epic adventures. I would be totally and utterly happy if the story went on forever or at least has continuous spin-offs. I won't give any spoilers as to what I wish the spin-offs could be; however, once you read this beautifully amazing story of true love and finding one's self I'm sure you'll have some ideas of your own. All that is left to say is...job well done Julie Cassar and don't keep us wanting for too long. ~ AC Wright (WaAr)~

Holy Moley Ah Maz Ballz. Julie Cassar has done it yet again. I swear this woman can do no wrong!!! She has created yet another awesome story in the Ruby Blue series. And an explosive conclusion to Ruby’s story!!! I have been a weird reading slump (as most of you will know if you follow me on twitter or facebook lol) so I read this quite slowly so I could enjoy and savor the story because this is the last book in one of my favourite series and I wanted it to last as long as I could.

Another beautifully written story by Julie Cassar. The world of Ruby is woven so well, that I feel like a part of the story. I've become invested in the lives of Ruby, Brennan, Anya and Jeremy. They've become my friends and I rise and fall with there trials and triumphs. I'm happy when they're happy, sad when they're sad and even teared up on several occasions while reading the story. The characters have grown, the story has grown and I'm sad that this is the end, I'll be "forever blue" without Ruby. Well done Julie!

I have followed Julia through this whole series and i have not been let down!!! I honestly want this series to be turned into a movie! I still stand by my word when i said this series is better then "Twilight"! Still and always a Brennan fan!! Whoo Hoo!!
But cant leave out Jeremy "HOLLLLLYYY FUTHERMUCKER MADNESS...." You will learn many many secrets in this book and will make you scream OMG but somehow you knew it was coming but still never imagined it would lol. If you have not joined the Ruby fan club you should because you do not know what you are missing!

This is the 4th installment to the Ruby Blue series, and probably my favorite. It is FANFREAKINTASTIC!

In this installment, Ruby experiences new love, new power, and the fear of losing everything. This installment is a real page turner. Great plot, great storyline, great character, the whole shabang is just amazing. Don't take my word for it, read it yourself.

This series will FOREVER be one of my favorite YA series. I can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us.

This entire series has been a pleasure to read! The was the last installment in Ruby's series and oh THE FEELS!!! I have laughed, cried and held my Kindle in suspense reading Forever Blue! I truly enjoyed this, and I highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a fun read. Author Julie Cassar has created a world that I not only want to read about, I want to live there! Go now and purchase this series for yourself! I didn't want to put this down once I started, and I am positive you will feel the same!

Sometimes in a series by the time you get to the last book you are just reading to be done with it because it gets old. Forever Blue is not that kind of book! It packs just as much punch as the first three did. Forever Blue held me captive from the first word to the last. And when the end came I was not ready, I wanted more. Don't get me wrong, the ending was beautiful, I just wasn't ready to be done with Ruby, Brennan and the gang. I will be reading this series again.

How amazing is this series?

That's the easiest question to answer. Since I read all FOUR books back to back without stopping I'd say AMAZING.

Julie's done it again. She's kept it interested,intense and heart throbbing through out the entire series!

I will never hear the word Kansas and not think about this series. I'm not much for Fey Books but this is unlike the rest.

Noooo!!! It's over! But this book is a fantastic ending to the series. Ruby and Brennan have had a hard road and this book is doesn't disappoint. I love this series and am sad to see it end. I only wish we got the fairy tale ending in the real world as well. Read these from start to finish and you feel like your taken to a magical world :)
