When I first heard about this series (Misadventures) and read the list of incredibly talented authors that would be writing in the series, I was immediately intrigued. I wasn't sure how the series would connect but the more I read into the series itself, the more I understood the very thin thread. You guys are gonna enjoy the heck out of these stories. They're not quick or short by any means but they are also not long and drawn out. They're fun and flirty and sexy afternoon reads with strong characters! They range from every possible trope you can think of and they entertain from beginning to end!
This bundle includes the three contributions bestselling author Sierra Simone wrote and they are some of the more delicious ones in the bunch!

Delicious Filthy Kinky Delight

Misadventures of a Curvy Girl (#18): 4 STARS
So, this was actually fun, but not very realistic. I enjoyed the story-line but I had to suspend reality almost completely. That’s never going to be a perfect 5 star read for me no matter how much I enjoyed the story. Hence, the 4 star rating :)
This entire series has been a joy for me to read. I’ve read almost every single one already published. They’re short, precise and to the point. For the most part, they’re insta-lust/love stories and if you go in understanding that, you will enjoy them immensely, as I have.
If you’ve read Sierra Simone before then you know she doesn’t hold back with her stories. She hits you full on with the sexy and I am immensely okay with that LOL Altho I didn’t feel it was very realistic, the story wasn’t silly or OTT. It’s a sexually driven story about a woman who meets two men who allow her to see herself as more than just a curvy girl. If I’m honest, it was quite touching, it just all happened way too quickly. With the history behind all three, this would have made for an outstanding full-length story.
Misadventures in Blue (#22): 5 STARS
daaayyuuummmm, that was DELICIOUS with a side of #feels!
I loved everything about this book especially the beginning *fans self*
Cat and Jace were absolutely perfect. Their story was short but packet a punch to my heart and my girlie parts in tandem! It was glorious I tell ya! Their growth as individuals and as a couple unfolded perfectly. GAH, I just cannot give this story enough praise!
Just read it dammit! #TRUST

I loved all 3 of these “misadventures”! They were all equally perfect novellas: short (100ish pages each), spicy AF, zero cringe insta love, great romance that tugged at my heart. So well done!

Misadventures with a Professor: 3.5/5
I can always count on Sierra Simone for a spicy good time, and that's exactly what this was.
I will admit, I was a little uninterested at the start and was thinking this was maybe not the novella for me, but I was wrong. Because I actually really liked it. It was mostly spice, so if that's what you're looking for, look no further, but it did actually have character development in the little pages that there were.
Zandy really grows into her own as a woman and finds confidence in herself while Oliver overcomes quite a bit of trauma. He's been through a lot, and quite frankly, his ex was really awful to him. The man is into a little role play and spanking; it doesn't make him a deviant. I'm so glad that he and Zandy found one another, and there was no outside drama. I was really waiting for her father to have some out of pocket reaction, but he was calm, cool, and collected at all times, and I respected him for that.

We love a book centered around body positivity!!!! Every woman, no matter her shape or size, deserves to have two sexy as sin cowboys who are deeply obsessed with her.
I really loved this one. The plot was fantastic; two small town cowboys looking for the one and the curvaceous woman who comes into town and knocks them both on their asses. All three of them have their own bits of baggage, Caleb hasn't truly felt whole since their last partner left them years ago, Ben is still dealing with the trauma of his tours in the army and Ireland has a lot of insecurity that she's still battling regarding her weight. But the three of them face these struggles together, and because of their support of one another, they're able to get through it all and come out the other side with the sweetest happily ever after.
This read like a full-length book with character development, romance, and so much spicy spice that you won't be able to get through without blushing. So far, my favorite of the collection.

I really liked this one in the beginning, but Cat kind of ruined it for me in the end. There's nothing that ruins a romance book for me more than a character making themselves into a martyr. I hate it when they're all, "it's gonna break my heart to break theirs, but it's for their own good." It's never for anyone's good. That trope is such nonsensical nonsense because, inevitably, they realize that they're wrong and the couple ends up together anyway. The angst is so unnecessary.
Otherwise, this was great. There was a low-stakes mystery and a man that's so down bad that you won't be able to not fall in love with him. I mean, this man didn't even let a hospital stay impede his ability to get on his knees for his woman. What more could you want from the man?

I have read so many of the Misadventures books and Sierra Simone's were always my fave. Now, 1 book that features 3 of her books (Misadventures with a Professor, Misadventures of a Curvy Girl, and Misadventures in Blue) is a spicy reader's hidden gem!
-Misadventures with a Professor: Now, this was probably my favorite of the three. Zandy is headed to grad school but before she is going to be a research student for Professor Graeme. There is just one thing that she wants to scratch off her to do list: find a man to take her V-card. She meets a bossy, dominating man in London named Oliver and tells him what she wants. They share a hot night together and she takes off in the morning. She is tidying up the office of her new boss and is taken aback when in walks Oliver. Wow this guy must be a stalker. Sike! It turns out that he is actually Professor Graeme. AWKWARD. He wants to send her back home but she promises that they can keep things professional. HAHA. That won't work. They do their best but they must give in to their desires and woah it's delicious!
- Misadventures of a Curvy Girl: I loved meeting the main heroine, Ireland. She is a curvy girl who is finally accepting her body and is done with being body-shamed. While on a work trip, her car gets stuck and is saved by a local hottie. He takes her back to his farm and that's when she is ready to drop it all for him. They have so much chemistry but you can tell he is holding something back. That secret is that he has a boyfriend. She could have sworn that they had real sparks. Turns out that they are looking for a woman to make them a throuple. Caleb, Ben, and Ireland are just meant to be. Every insecurity is swept up by their love. Sure, they have their ups and downs, but anyone can see how happy they make one another.
-Misadventures in Blue: This is an age-gap romance between a senior detective, Cat, and a rookie cop, Jace. After losing her fiance because of the job, she has closed her heart off to dating someone in the same field. Jace makes that promise difficult to keep. They have fiery chemistry and can't keep their hand off each other. But when he pushes for more, her fears win. This was a sexy and dangerous romance that I ate up!
Having these 3 books in 1 is like having your cake and eating it too. Every book is sexy and charming in its own way and allows you to see the author's range. Absolutely loved it and the spicy scenes were to die for!

This book has three short stories with different plots and could be read separately. This review will briefly go into each stories. Each book is very steamy.
Misadventures with a Professor (5/5 stars)
This short story was my favorite out of all of them. I enjoyed the story as I read it fairly quickly. This one is about a grad school virgin going abroad to be a research assistant and has a one-night stand to realize he’s her boss. The storyline was very creative and addicting. I liked the conflict in this book and enjoyed it. Both characters had their povs and I enjoyed both Zandy and Oliver. At first, I thought Oliver would be truly old but he’s in his late 20s or early 30s. Both characters had great developments and I enjoyed their chemistry. Their romantic trope were age gap, student/professor, and one-night stand. They have a cute happily ever after and I loved their development.

I believe this story is a popular one of Sierra Simone. I really enjoyed it which is about a plus-sized woman who wants to be loved the way she is and finds two men while on her job. I loved the representation of this book and how positive the FMC would be. This book had a good storyline and I loved how it was a bit chaotic with the whole weather. This book also had three pov from Ireland, Caleb and Ben. For a short story with three povs, I have to say that it’s hard to get so much information of each character as I believe there was more story to Caleb and Ben. I really loved the relationship and the chemistry between all of them which featured FMM, friends to lovers, and instant love.

I really enjoyed the story of how Cat and Jace are part of the police system but because of the age difference, they believe they shouldn’t be together. The storyline was well done and I really enjoyed the cute scenes that Simone put in this book. Cat is a badass woman who went through so much but is so good at her job and Jace is the hot hunk who loves Cat. They each had their personal development which I liked. Their main trope was the age gap where the woman is I believe 6-8 years older. They had good chemistry and I loved how Jace took care of Cat. The ending was well done with this book but the age gap was something that I didn’t enjoy.

The Forbidden Trinity is the first book that I’ve read by Sierra Simone and I loved the collection of stories.
The Forbidden Trinity is a collection of 3 Misadventures:
1. MisAdventures with a Professor: Zandy a grad student and Oliver a closed off professor. She wants to lose her virginity and she doesn’t care to who. They run into each other have a one night stand…or so they think. I loved their story…she got thru that closed off heart of his and loved his as he was kink and all.
2. MisAdventures of a Curvy Girl: Ireland is a curvy who’s tired of people telling her she needs to lose weight makes the decision to be comfortable in her own skin. On a work trip to Flint Hills her Prius gets stuck in mud after a rain storm. That’s where she meets Caleb and Ben and well they like to share. They make her feel like she is more then just her weight.
3. MisAdventures in Blue: Jace Sutton is a young cop and Catherine Day “Cat” is a detective. I love them and their umm spicy togetherness. He loves her and she’s so she’s afraid to love him back after losing her fiancée. I just loved their love story.
These stories are spicy and oh so very different. I could not wait to get off of work to jump back into my book. I have to and read the rest of her books maybe I should start with Sinner. I cannot recommend this book or these stories enough. I give this book 4.5 stars.

And of course, each story has heroes that are so obsessed with heroine they would do anything to be with her and to make her happy. In the case of Misadventures Of A Curvy Girl, it’s two heroes! 😉

This book contains a collection of Misadventures stories. The stories contained are scandalous, spicy, taboo, and full of smut. Each story contains its own main characters and story line.
The stories in this book are incredibly spicy in all kinds of different ways and I was here for it. Even though all three stories in the book are around 120 ish pages, the romance doesn’t feel rushed or instalovey. I was able to stay hooked on each story and get through them in one sitting. This is such a fun read that will give all kinks and is definitely a fun read.

This book is made up of three short stories. I loved them all. Being short stories you do not get a whole lot of character development, but I still got plenty of enjoyment out of reading about each of them and their journey. These are spicy and all have a HEA. The second short story is a why choose, and it was great. I liked it because the MFC was also plus sized. It touches on body image issues and relationships that aren’t your average relationships. It also touched on PTSD. The third story was good too, it touched on things like grief and giving yourself grace. I liked all of them.

Three hot and spicy books in one beautiful space. I devoured these stories and loved them for so many reasons. These were fun, fast and so enjoyable to read. I love how you get right into the thick of things and discover the characters as the story flows. Each of these three stories is unique but all play by the crazy misadventure trope rules. Suspend a little reality and jump right in.

Honestly, I was super bored reading this, which surprised me because I definitely expected to like it more. The first story, with the professor, was my favorite, the second one was alright, and the third one I didn’t care for at all.

I loved the first two stories so much!! Sierra Simone is a delight. The third one was a me issue. I don’t like cops (ACAB). Age gap was fun, wish they were firefighters instead 😆
