As I was reading this book, I found it easy to get into quickly. The story is simple enough; a celebrity is addicted to drugs and he's coerced into getting clean by going to a secluded location, free of distractions. But while there, he suffers from delusions and hallucinations and questions his sanity. This would've been great, except that it was disjointed, and I often found myself confused and wondering whether the segment I was reading was reality or not. I guess that was kind of the point, but the execution of it was poorly done. As a result, I couldn't finish the novel. Maybe next time.
