Listen, it’s rare for me to try to squeeze reading in whenever I have a spare few minutes (I’m typically a “read at bedtime” kind of girl), but I dragged my Kindle with me EVERYWHERE while devouring this book over the past two days. I genuinely couldn’t put it down!

Kalli’s an aspiring fashion designer who’s in desperate need of cash, and Rin’s a billionaire demon who offers her a deal: He’ll pay her to eat her 🐱.

Enough said. I’m already sold. Top it off with insanely hot chemistry and genuinely interesting characters, and you’ve got yourself a must read book!

I really loved Rin and Kalli’s relationship, especially how Kalli wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself and Rin wasn’t above learning. I do suggest checking content warnings before reading, but the angst is low for the most part.

I do wish we’d gotten more info about Monstrous Deals - it felt like that should’ve been a bigger part of the story than it actually was. I also felt like there were times characters had quick mood swings without explanation or prompting. Both issues would’ve benefited from the story being a bit more fleshed out, but they’re both such small issues to have.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed this new (to me) author and cannot wait to read more in this series!

Рін - демон "оні", та і заодне мільярдер, який володіє магією. І в нього є потреба харчуватись. Зовні він одягає маску тому дуже схожий на людину, але справжнє його обличчя інше. Він розуміє що Калла підходить по всім його критеріям. Його одразу спокушає її запах.

Скажу так тут дужеее, ну дужеее багато орального сексу.🤭

Взагалі це серія, в якій 8 книг, мене дуже інтригує історія про сестру Калли, тому однозначно буду продовжувати!
Це було весело читати, книга доволі не велика, тому якщо хочете щось про монстрів вам сюди. Або ж розпочинаєте знайомство з цим жанром, ця книга підійде.👽

My first ever DNF. Wow. Had to stop at 52% jesus christ.

My biggest problem happened at literally about 30% of the way into the book or something? It's important to Rin that Kalli keep the blindfold on so she agrees, but she asks not to have her hands restrained this time. She says she won't touch the blindfold, she just wants a little more freedom-and can you guess what she does?? She takes the blindfold off halfway through. Kalli keeps complaining about how she signed up for monsters/non human types and that's literally what the agency advertises, she knows Rin isn't human so why can't she see him when he's getting busy? BECAUSE HE'S NOT COMFORTABLE WITH IT, THAT'S WHY. What would everyone say if a guy and girl were getting together and they agreed on what would happen, the girl was happy to continue because the guy assured her he wouldn't do something she specifically asked him not to, and then he does it anyway? Would we say that's assault/rape and a violation of consent? YES!!! So why can Kalli do it??

But the worst part by far is that she acts like she's the wronged one!! She's mad and outraged that Rin asks her to leave afterwards and she's pissed she didn't get to 'finish'?? Kalli literally sounds like a guy complaining about being blueballed because the woman decided she wasn't comfortable anymore. It's disgusting. Oh and then Rin APOLOGISES???? To Kalli??? Even though he did nothing wrong, she violated his consent?????????

Plus, she complains non stop about not being able to see him and knowing he's a monster so what's the big deal? She knows he has a non human form so why is he being so cagey about it? And then when they're together again they shift and the blindfold gets moved and she sees his non human form and FREAKS OUT???? She goes absolutely spare, she literally runs away from him and is petrified of his form, basically saying she knew he was a monster but she didn't think he's look THIS monstrous?!?!

But don't worry it's fine, he pins her to the ground and starts...getting off? And she's fine again!

Plus, she just annoyed me for a million different reasons. Stupid stuff like she has about fifty dollars in her bank account and is unable to pay all of her bills, but she decides she doesn't want the food in her fridge so she's going to order in! Why?? You can't afford to live, Kalli, can you please just eat what food you have already??

Yeah. Did not like the 52% of this that I read. Really damn glad I didn't buy the physical copy.

I also wasn’t expecting to love the characters as much as I did. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the plot! I wouldn’t change a thing!

What’s the point of the contract when they go off script immediately? So many instances where she ambivalent about serious things and likewise where she freaks out when she shouldn’t.

This requires too much suspension of disbelief.

Monsters have been out in the world for a while, and this agency promises safe, mutually beneficial arrangements. Enter Rin, a devilishly attractive (literally) businessman who takes one look at Kalli and decides she’s the one.

At first, she’s skeptical. He’s offering way too much money, and the deal seems a little too convenient. But Rin isn’t just rich—he’s starving. He needs Kalli in a very specific way (he is literally surviving on eating her 🐱) and it doesn’t take long before she realizes she wants to be needed like that. Cue the obsessive, possessive monster who’s been deprived for way too long, and things get steamy.

If you’re here for plot, there’s enough to keep you entertained. If you’re here for the spice, you will not be disappointed. If you don’t like a book with a heavy dose of bedroom time, this probably isn’t for you. But if monster romance with an all-consuming, obsessive love and a lot of 🐱 eating is your thing? Then, yeah, you need to read this!!

This was just alright, though a quick easy read.

I just got a little peeved with Kalli. First off, you don't get to agree to certain terms, sign a contract to that effect, then do what you weren't supposed to but get mad and act like you're the victim. There were a few other little irritating bits but not too bad.

I actually was really excited to see Kalli's sister with two little kids find a monster of her own as hinted, but then was bummed that the next book was not her story. So, we'll see what comes in the future if I read more of this series.

This book contains a tantalizing and unexpected journey that caters to the adult audience seeking provocative and sensual content - a very formal way to say that this book is on fire! With only three words - full meal course of pure lust and desire and I'm here for that.

Ami skillfully crafts a main character who goes above and beyond to satisfy their partner, leaving me as her reader immensely pleased- in other words, "I will make your dreams come true." "What's mine is yours" and "I can adjust my 🍆 for your pleasure"...Come on!

Rin did something over the top just to keep Kallie from working so he can spend more time eating her. 😆

While the book explores a budding romance, it delves into much more. It follows the intriguing story of Rin, a demon who forms a contract through a monstrous deal to indulge in a very specific part of Kalli once a week. However, with just one taste, everything changes. The contract evolves from a weekly arrangement to something more frequent, but it doesn't quite go as Rin intended. In other words, Rin can't get enough of eating Kalli. I mean hey, Kallie is not complaining. And he did eat...in almost every chapter.

The promise of a happy ever after is worth the heartache.

Sounded right up my alley -which was why I picked it up- but the MMC was a bit too much, too quick. The FMC was just a normal human woman, and I liked the contrast of them, even if she went along with his raging impulses a bit too much, imo.

I really wanted to like this! It sounded like it had all the makings of an interesting, cute short monster read: demon, plus size fmc, monster sex work turned into something more, HEA...

Unfortunately, I really did not connect with the MMC Rin. He was hella toxic from the start, stalking her immediately after they first meet, and even after he supposedly "reforms" his ways, he's still overly possessive and controlling. I know some of y'all are into that but I happen to not be and it sounded like our FMC wasn't either, but accepted it anyway?

Some other things didn't jive well. I was honestly confused about why Rin was so focused on hiding his monster nature since Kalli, the FMC, already knows he's a monster. It's literally front and center in how they meet through the monster sex work agency. So every time it was brought up, I was reading along making this face:



Color me even more surprised when the reveal happens and instead of being accepting and understanding like I expected, Kalli freaks the fuck out. What. Ma'am. You knew. What in the actual fuck? This was especially confusing and jarring since other things she should have been freaking out over (like the stalking and controlling and nearly murdering a dude in front of you), she was totally calm and immediately accepting and forgiving. WTF!

ALSO, I like the concept of a legal sex work agency catering to monsters. It's a great premise. I love it. So much potential! That sounds like a great idea for a series so I was very disappointed in the lack of establishing much about the Monstrous Deals agency and the serious inadequacy of safety and consent measures. He evens asks to tie her up AFTER their contract is made with no prior discussion about it, IN HIS BEDROOM, and she's like /shrug, no concerns here!

I can't help but think of an example where that was handled well: Kathryn Moon's Games with the Orc and the Monster Smash Agency. There was hella safety measures and consent was taken seriously. Much, much better example (even if the agency is catering to humans looking to mate with monsters and not the other way around).

TBH, i only can tolerate the "kissed few before" extent to consider it like that.

Bakın ben plus size yazıyorum ne kadar marjinalim, yelpazem çok geniş vs tarzı yüzümüze vurulunca irite oluyorum. Burda da sanki kadının özelliği hafif kilolu ve kıvrımlı olmasıymış gibi bunu bikaç kere özellikle belirmiş yazar. Neyse çok üstünde durmadım sonuçta uzun bir kitap da değildi. Okudum geçtim. Onun dışında kadın karakteri de erkek karakterimizi de sevdim. İkisi de gayet olgun ve mantıklıydı. Kitap kısa olduğu için uzatılan hiçbir şey yoktu aktı gitti. Demon çok tatlı ve soft bir karakterdi. Kitabın sonlarına doğru kadının sözünden çıkmayan yumuş yumuş biri oldu 😂
