Isla and Zac...
Their story is catchy enough although I could call it another variation of an abused female finding her savior!
Isla's struggle and trauma had me empathize with her. Zac, I'd say is a hopeful romantic for his mate.
For a first book of Darma Day I would say it is well written and leaves you hanging in a lot of chapters!
I wasn't expecting all those bad guys to gather up towards the end. It was unexpected! Brought a climax to the story well enough.
I recommend it to any paranormal reader!

Good book
I loved reading the book I'm just bothered by the fact that Isla was portraited as this very strong warrior but both times she was attacked she was unable to do even the slightest damage. It makes her warrior personality useless to me. She could've been just a regular werewolf and things would've happened the same way. At least then, her being out of patrol duty would make sense. She just never got to be the warrior she was supposed to be.
