Contemporary with a touch of humour, you'll enjoy meeting the leading players, depending on who they are.

All novels are in British English and translate perfectly for all, so don't get too stressed if you don't understand some slang. Right now is the perfect time for a bit of an escape, don't you think? So, just go with the flow and enjoy!

Like Rabbits

This had the potential to be an outstanding story. Especially with the Nana character for color. Sadly, two characters who could have been delightfully complex ended up as shallow and one dimensional because the author was more interested in detailing their sex lives. More ink was devoted to shagging than plot, I'm sorry to say. A potentially complicated relationship was rendered flat because the author focused more on sex than substance. Before the end I was skimming past the steamy scenes searching for a revelation or character arc. Sad that a good idea and some great peripheral characters were sacrificed to a relationship primarily based between the sheets. I'll not waste more time with this author and can't recommend the writer to anyone else.

I'm impressed about this book. I never thought I'd like it this much but it's really good. The story about Ruby and Scottie has its ups and downs and there were a few times that it had me on the edge of my seat. There was a part of the book where I really hated Scottie, he was so stupid that made me want to punch him. If a book makes me feel this strong about a character, it means that I really like it. It's a good book definitely worth reading.
