This boxed set was ok. I struggled through some of the stories, and some two of them I didn't even read. Taken by the Cowboy - I struggled through this one. In the end, it was an ok read. I was pleased with the ending.
The Bodyguard - This one was a little weird to me. SPOILER- I didn't like the fact that the "then" 18 year old boy had a one time fling with the mother. Then 18 years later falls in love with her daughter. That just creeped me out. In the end, it wasn't a bad book.
A Burning Touch - Thank goodness for the last book! This was the best read of them all. I'm glad that Jamie finally believed in India.
I didn't read His Forbidden Touch or Aphrodite's Passion.
Taken by the Cowboy ---awesome time travel story. The Bodyguard --- good, didn't like the whole he slept with her mother and then slept with her, even though it's years later. nice twist, not predictable on who's behind everything. His Forbidden Touch --- amazing historical. there' a few surprises and twists. absolutely loved. Aphrodite's Kiss -- amazing, funny. it was an awesome read, I think my favorite character had to be Elmer, wish the book featured more of him. Kinda want to get the others in the series. A Burning Touch --- great story. got a little weird.

Almost all great authors and stories. 2 of the stories were part of a series, but not the first book in either one. I'm a little particular, so I had to read the first books before continuing with these. Yes, you will do just fine if you don't read the others first, but I disliked that about this box set. The Aphrodite book I didn't read. I abandoned the first book at 17‰ because it seemed quite juvenile for my tastes, although written well enough. I can't imagine it fitting in with this group of more adult stories.
