I may have survived the battle, slipping from their grasp by cunning and sheer will, but the war still rages, and the next wave of enemies is worse than I ever imagined. Tangles of lies unravel around us as the past and present collide, bringing secrets into the light and making the future harder to see.
With every turn down this winding path, it is clear pain is inevitable, but I’m not alone this time. Not anymore. I have a family, people I can’t live without, and a place to finally call home.
My hands are stained red, and death is knocking at our door, but I welcome the riot. We stand together until the very end, and we will fight until our last breath. They say love conquers all, and our love may just be the shield we need to survive.
What goes up must come down. I only hope we’re all there to catch each other in the end because that’s a long way to fall.
Wow. All I can say is wow. If you are looking for a Den of Vipers version of Sons of Anarchy that includes ⚔️ and the most badass FMC??? Look no further baybeeeee. I devoured all three of these books back to mfin BACKKKKKK.
Picking up where we left off with a slight cliffhanger at the end of book two we see yet another side of Scarlett as she has to face her past head on once again. Can this girl catch a break?? As the third book of this trilogy winds to a close we finally get the slow burn that has been building with our girl Scarlett and our favorite tortured MMC Axel. I knew when they finally did the do it would be next level…..BUT THIS????? Wow. No. Words. 🔥
This series had excellent plot mixed in with spice that kept you guessing and on your toes. Honestly both the smut and the plot kept you wanting more and reading as fast as humanly possible. I don’t care what anyone says. This book was INTENSE. I really enjoyed so many different story lines intercepting while also giving so much closure and finality to the trilogy.
While I never for a second would underestimate my new favorite badass, Scarlett. Book three in the series not only proved it but set that knowledge in stone. It is unmoving, unchanging, inevitable. Scarlett will own eat you for breakfast lunch and dinner. Once again, we got to see her soften a lil bit and have to need help from our fave four. I love when characters who have never been able to falter, show vulnerability. It just makes it that much sweeter.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this series. And the lil cameo at the end with Axels history??? Is that another series!? Must do some thorough research on the matter 🤓
Going in, I knew it was going to take a lot for me to make peace with the fact that this would be our last book with these characters but I think KC gave them and the rest of their story the justice it deserved!
I can admit there was a lot to cover in the beginning because of everything that happened in the last few chapters of book two but I did feel like there was a small chunk of the book where we were waiting for something to happen. In the way that it felt like things had been too quiet for too long given what we knew about Kincaid. But I wasn’t mad about it because I was still having a good time and things did pick back up pretty quickly after that short lull. And boy was I entertained with everything that followed! 🤭 Between Emily and Scarlett going to school together, seeing a long-awaited relationship FINALLY start to bloom on the sidelines, and watching Scarlett and her men raise all of the chaos I could barely contain my excitement!
There were a couple emotional moments in the beginning that had me tearing up and by the end I couldn’t keep track of how many times I had mentally screamed at KC for what she was doing to some of my favorite characters! Thank goodness a friend of mine had already read this book so I was able to vent my pain and rage to her and avoid a personal meltdown but I guess that just goes to show how much I cared for these characters that I was so easily enraged! 🥹🤣
Like the previous book, there was once again so much satisfying growth for both Scarlett and Axel! And while it might seem like I’m singling them out, it’s only because they undoubtedly had the most work to do of the group so seeing them make it to the end was so gratifying. I still love all of Scarlett’s men because they each have their own unique personality and mannerisms that combined to make such an awesome team when they were all together! And oh man watching them all come together in the fun ways was so worth the wait, I was living for every single spicy scene we got with these boys! Not to mention all of the comradery and banter! I swear these guys had me cracking up then swooning all within the same chapter! It was the best of every world! 🥰
All of this to say that this series has potentially taken over as my favorite of KC’s because from the start I was unhealthily obsessed with both the story and all of the characters! The female friendships, the constant comedic relief, the loyal found family, the touch them and be unalived attitudes, the over-the-top/possessive tendencies, and the heartwarming character growth make this series a force to be reckoned with! If you are a motorcycle club romance lover you need to add this now COMPLETED series to your TBR ASAP! 🙌🏻
This series is full of inconsistencies. Normally I just ignore them but they were huge and messed up the flow of the story. The author needs to edit this story like 3 more times to get rid of all the problems. She mixes up Emmett with the other E name in the book multiple times she mixes up Molly with Maggie which is confusing. She completely forgot that in book 2 she had a clicker that opens the gates to the bad guys place and in book 3 it is never mentioned and they can never find the bad guys compound or how to get in when they finally find it. Those were the most annoying inconsistencies but thats not even half of them edit the story all 3 books need heavily editing and then i believe the series could be 3 stars.
Oh and add in the fact she supposedly cant read they mention half way through the series well than how fid she play video games and she was texting the whole series so she must have been able to read texts ya story did not flow or make sense with the inconsistencies
I read all the series books back to back so the inconsistencies and problems with the story line were blatantly obvious I recommend the author does the same and edits all the issues.
I liked this series, but I was a lil disappointed with the ending.
The plot was half hearted and kinda crappy. I liked the guys and the FMC but the storyline was kinda flaky and I just didn’t feel it going anywhere. The epilogue was disappointing and the final book felt rushed. Whereas other parts dragged out the ‘important’ parts felt brushed over.
*why choose *contemporary *multiple-pov *mc *rivals *secret identity *established harem (4) *inc MM⚔️ *fast burn 🔥 *3/3 Epic ending Yessss this is all you could want for Scarlett and the Ruthless Brothers 🥰 After recovering after the last cliffhanger, Scarlett and her men decide it’s best to keep all that they know quiet! Hoping that the rats will out themselves…and there’s certainly some dodgy things going on between the different clubs 😬 Scarlett has to come to terms with the loss and still maintain her humanity, it really tugs at your heartstrings to see her have to work through that! But thankfully her men won’t let her disappear inside herself 🥰 yes even Axel, oh boy does he come around - their journey throughout this book is beautiful despite what they have to go through to get there! Emmett is her Viking protector who lays himself at her feet for the way she continues to protect Emily, and then Ryker who will do everything he can to keep them all safe from the Brutes 🥰 they really come together as a unit and it’s the force they need to finally take down the Brutes!! Tough decisions have to be made and it’s certainly a rollercoaster, but this sassy assassin gets the HEA she dey😁😁
This book was insane! I loved that Emily and Shift were trying to be all secretive about their feelings for each other. It’s cute that Emily has been teaching her to read and right and then they end up going to college together. I love that they buried Duffer. I was honestly so ready for Molly to die, she was the worst and working for Kincaid. I knew he would take Emily. I was surprised that Declan had her and gave her to the cop. Scar and Axel killed Kincaid and then Gray burned the clubhouse down. They got Emily back. Everything was finally settled. I thought it was so cute how Gray reacted to her tattoo and they all got it! Axel really came a long way, and their roadtrip was cute. I loved this series. Shocking epilogue where he has a sister?

Welp, @kckeanauthor packed it ALL in with Ruthless Riot, the last book in the Ruthless Brothers MC series.
The feels were out in full force … happy, laughter, frustration, tears, and woooo boy a whole heck of a lot of steam!! We rode the whole ride with Scarlett as she faced the demons of her past and found a path toward a better future. And her guys - Ryker, Axel, Gray, and Emmett - were there for her every step of the way!
KC outdid herself once again and I honestly loved this series - perfect for all my MC lovers out there who like their RH with some badass and a sprinkle of MM mixed in 😉
It's so sad this series came to an end! Every book is action-packed and lots of badassery Scarlett and the Ruthless Brothers have grown their relationships and their trust with one another. They have gone through A LOT! Especially with Axel!!! Oh my god. I am not really a MC romance type of gal, but this book makes you care and adore for most characters except well her lol iykyk and the other bad guys.
You will never lack in spice in the this book I PROMISE YOU THAT! These guys finally get their HEA that they deserve! So if you wanna pick up a why choose MC romance with a bad ass FMC this is for you!
Another good series by K.C Kean! I’m on a roll with this author’s books after taking a two year break from her books!! 😂
I really loved all the characters in this series. Did the story drag in some places? Yes. But I liked how much the author spent her time developing the relationships during these drags. So it didn’t take me out of the story.
Wow! Great series! Really loved it. One of my favourite tv series was SOA, this series of The Ruthless Brothers was always reminding me of it. Lot of violence, heavy spice, action and of course romance. Everyone has darkness to deal with, in this series they all help each other get through their darkest moments.
4.5 star series, this was just the more repetitive / sorta predictable of the three & I feel like if I didn’t read another book between I might have rated it a bit higher?
This was just such a perfect ending to the series. I loved how Scarlett was slowly able to let people In and how she stood up for what she wanted and believed in. Watching the 4 men revolving around her was just perfect. I couldn’t think of a better end for Scarlett’s story andy I can’t wait for whatever comes out of this author’s beautiful brain next!
Families that slay together stay together! Scarlett is one of my favourite MCs I have read. She's was fierce, strong and loyal, and I glad she got her happily ever after.
So I can’t give this 5* purely because I have some questions still…. And those questions will niggle at me and piss me off (unless I’ve misread some things and didn’t link certain things together…. If I have please comment and let me know).
First off I think the character growth was amazing, especially Axel and Scarlett’s relationship. Axel quickly became my favourite but I’m all about the morally grey alpha holes so I wasn’t surprised when my focus switched from Grey to Him especially in this book.
I am a bit disappointed with the ending. Scarlett has been this ruthless killer who has been on the ball throughout yet in the last few chapters some jock manages to distract her and Emily gets taken from right out under her nose. Then she walks into the lions den and has to face her fear of the basement and she is holding it together well. Problem I have is suddenly Kincade manages to get the upper hand on her constantly yet this is the double gun wielding girl who manages to kill several men within a minute yet she can’t get a clean kill with the knife? How did she not manage a lethal kill with the blade in his stomach? I found it unbelievable, the only thing I can think of is that the fact she was in a basement messed with her head and it put her off her game? Maybe I was expecting too much.
Now for my questions….
1) how did Paisley know Scarlett? It’s briefly mentioned that he thinks she is familiar then never mentioned again…. Surely that was an important point when it was mentioned during the final showdown?
2) what was the fallout of killing the deputy? It just wasn’t mentioned again, like did they do clean up and just no one was bothered this guy that the police themselves dislike just disappeared?
3) did Scarlett ever get initiated into a Ruthless Brother? It was mentioned a few times why wasn’t Scarlett at the table and they said she would be asked but we didn’t see anything about it again.
4) is there a book for Axel’s supposed half sister who turns up in the last few chapters with her own Harem?
5) where are Emily and Shift at in their relationship during the epilogue set 4 months in the future?
6) what happened with the Devils Brutes? Did every single one of their men die? It didn’t seem like there were as many at the end as they were made out to be throughout the book? Was their MC just annihilated like the Reapers?
Maybe I just read into things too much and some of these points were just meant to be throwaway comments or filler for the book but they are things I got invested in.
Anyways I liked this author and I will read some of her other work now I have finished this series.
I’m reviewing all three books. First things first I don’t understand the torrent of five star reviews, this series was okay, not sensational. There’s a decent amount of poorly disguised “showing not doing” in the form of supporting characters just knowing things, knowing when to stop talking, knowing how the MFC feels without having much interaction with her, knowing how good she is for the MMCs instead of actual relationship building and scenes where this happens. Instances like this feel cheap to me. There’s also the instant infatuation element instead of relationship building that also is cheap to me. This wasn’t the worst reverse harem I’ve ever read but definitely not the best by any means.
This one felt much more rushed than the previous two of this series. It was also much shorter so that could be it, but I wanted some more information to be delved into here (like the Paisley/Iron Scorpion and Scarlett piece). Maybe this means that another series could be coming that explores that farther, I hope so.
Okay, where do I even begin with this one? First off, I can’t lie—this series totally grabbed me by the throat and didn’t let go. If you’re into intense stories with plenty of spice 🔥, a fearless FMC, and morally grey alphas that will make your heart race, you might want to pick this up. But let’s dive into the nitty-gritty and see why this one ended up being a solid 3 stars for me.
So, book three picks up where book two left us hanging, and let’s just say, I was READY to dive back in. Scarlett? She’s a total badass, no doubt about it. This girl has been through some serious stuff, and just when you think she’s gotten a moment to breathe, the universe pulls the rug out from under her AGAIN. And you know what? It’s so wild, it actually works. Her journey was, overall, satisfying to watch unfold. 💥
But let’s talk about the spice for a sec. Wow. Just wow. If you’ve been waiting for the slow-burn romance between Scarlett and Axel, brace yourself. When these two finally get together, it’s NEXT LEVEL. I was lowkey living for every sizzling moment between them. They really were the heart of the book, especially with their growth, which, I gotta say, made their final moments together feel so satisfying. And of course, the whole squad (Scarlett’s men) brought their own unique vibes, adding layers of fun and heart. The banter? Hilarious. The chemistry? Sizzling. 🥵
But not everything was perfect. There were a few moments where I was left a bit confused or frustrated. For one, the pacing was a bit off in places. There were chunks of the book where I felt like we were stuck in limbo—waiting for something to happen—and that kind of dulled the intensity I had expected. I totally get that there was a lot of ground to cover after the chaos of book two, but the quieter parts did feel like a bit of a drag. 😅
Now, let’s get into some of the things that really bugged me. First of all, I have questions—so many questions. There were just a few loose ends that were either brushed over or didn’t get the closure I was hoping for. Paisley knowing Scarlett? Never fully explained. How about the fallout after the deputy’s death? Just a quick mention, and then poof—nothing. And, seriously, what was up with that Ruthless Brother initiation? That’s a pretty big deal, yet we don’t see Scarlett get that moment. Also, there’s the whole mystery around Axel’s half-sister… is that getting its own book or what?! 😬
I was also a little let down by the final showdown. Don’t get me wrong, the action was intense, but I had a hard time believing Scarlett—this fierce, gun-wielding woman—would suddenly struggle with a situation so much. I wanted her to get a clean kill, and when she didn’t? I was a little like, “Wait... what?” 🤷♀️
The emotional moments, though? They hit hard. 🥺 Watching Scarlett cope with her childhood friend’s death and dealing with the trauma was handled well. I appreciated how we saw her vulnerability—despite all her tough-girl persona, she’s still human, and I loved that development. Plus, Axel’s closure and the depth of his relationship with Scarlett made their bond even stronger.
The ending was bittersweet for me, though. I think the resolution with the villains was a bit rushed. It kind of felt like they were wrapped up quickly, considering how much build-up there had been throughout the series. But, honestly, that didn’t totally ruin the overall ride.
In the end, though, I’m definitely going to miss Scarlett and her crazy crew. She grew so much throughout this series, and seeing her finally come into her own made me feel proud of her, even if she’s a fictional character. And those final scenes with her men? All I’m saying is… it’s worth the wait. 😏
But yeah—overall, The Badass Ride to the End was a good time. It had its highs and lows, and while I’m glad I read it, there were definitely some moments where I wanted a bit more. 3 stars for a solid but not perfect ending to a wild, spicy trilogy. 🔥
Oh, and I need Emily's story. If there’s a spinoff in the works, someone please let me know because I’m here for it! 🙌
If you’re into strong FMCs, hot MMCs, and an all-around intense ride, this series is worth checking out—but don’t expect every question to be answered. 😅
I enjoyed this series overall. For the most part, Scarlett was a great character. She’s had a shit life and did not let it destroy the good parts of her. And she’s a bit badass. I liked the guys she gets with, and the side characters that she bonds with.
I hated Axel at first, but loved how they connected over their shared traumas. They both had horrendous things happen that broke them, and both chose different ways to cope with it, but eventually they both found a bit of healing in each other. Each of the other characters had bonding moments with her that were also great to see.
My only issues that stick in my craw…
These guys are some big bad MC, yet a number of times I thought “how the fuck are they still alive?” They didn’t know their Prez was doing shady shit with an MC they knew nothing about. They knew he had to die- and he did. But then find out there was a lot they were in the dark about. I bought it, but also thought they must be a bit clueless to have zero idea this other MC was even a thing locally.
When they find out some of the guys from the club the brought in for back up are actually working with the enemy, the sit back and play dumb. They let them in their clubhouse, give them free access, and just pretend they don’t know. 😳 Of course, they also let the other club show up on their property repeatedly unannounced and cause drama and violence, so again… how are they still alive? Who would ever be afraid of them?
The club whores. They do literally nothing around the MC to help with anything, they just get protection for banging the dudes and being bitches. And they somehow allow Molly to stand up many times and say that the club is HERS and she is in charge, let her verbally and physically attack Scarlett (even in front of them), and then tell Scarlett not to kill her. Since when do the club whores control the club? And why the fuck would any MC guy stand there and allow the whore to touch and district his woman? I kept waiting for one of them to put her in her place, but nope.
I also can’t stand the TSTL “I’m tired of having a guard” trope. You’re being actively attacked and plotted against, kidnapped once already, and as we get to the end they decide since it’s been quiet for a bit it’s ok for the guard to just wait outside. Guess what happens? 🙄
Petty gripes? Maybe. But they were annoying. Overall- enjoyed the series and didn’t feel that three book was dragged out to get a larger word count. It all moved along pretty quickly and kept me interested, so there’s that. I would still follow these dinguses on their next adventure, so clearly the gripes didn’t ruin the whole thing.
Holy shit…that was a RIDE! I have been anxiously awaiting this book ever since I finished Ruthless Rebel. When I tell you that this book, just like the previous 2 in the series, totally took over my life while reading, I’m not even kidding.
I fell in love with all of these characters from the very beginning of the first book, and my love for them just grew with each book. Scarlett is the kind of badass FMC that I love to read and makes me keep coming back for more. And these guys? Each of them brings something to the story and the relationship. They’re all alpha males that are extremely protective, but they also know that Scarlett can take care of herself and they don’t try to stifle that. That doesn’t mean that they don’t have their moments of trying to be a little overprotective, but there’s always at least one of them to remind the others that they swore they would never try to control her or her actions.
I thought that Axel had the most character growth in the previous book, but let me tell you it was nothing compared to this one. I absolutely loved seeing him being able to overcome his past for Scarlett and the surprise from the other guys when they find out was just *chef’s kiss* amazing. Emmett has always been my favorite from the beginning and if I absolutely had to pick a favorite now, it would still be him. But the truth is that I love all of these guys equally. From Axel’s intense grumpy ass, to Ryker’s possessive alphahole self, to Gray’s golden retriever energy that will always make me grin, to Emmett’s total and utter commitment, they are all completely devoted to Scarlett and I am totally here for it.
This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I was constantly tearing up whenever they were talking about the loss of Duffer (aka Dylan), and that hurt never went away. But I swear my heart kept growing bigger and bigger every time Scarlett told one of the guys that she loved them or when one of them told her they loved her. Thankfully there were plenty of moments of levity, usually thanks to Gray that had me laughing out loud. And let’s not forget all of the wonderfully spicy scenes that had me simultaneously fanning myself but also begging for more. While I’m sad to see this series end, it was everything that I could have wanted and then some. I do have one little request though…can we PLEASE have a novella of Emily and Shift???? 🙏
I freaking loved everything about the Ruthless Brothers MC. Scarlett is a bad ass chic and her men compliment her in the best of ways! I enjoyed how this third book rounded out the trilogy, and honestly, I’d beg for more of their story! The only thing I’d have wished for would be more of an epilogue, later in the future and maybe a little RBMC family, but I know that’s not everyone’s thing and it’s just my wishful thinking ;)
**Some comments below may be spoilers if you haven’t read the entire series yet**
Fav parts of this book: •Continued development of Scar & Axel’s relationship. This relationship made me mooshie, y’all. The two cold-hearted members of this relationship finally navigate their way to being together as Scar already has with the rest of the guys. Something about the added baggage of Axel’s past made it that much sweeter when they finally made physical contact, in any way, not just sexual. (lol) • When Scarlett sees Maggie as the badass she is and thinks to herself, “I want to be like Maggie one day.” I was nodding my head along with her internal dialogue about this point. When it came to Maggie throwing on her leather jacket for the final showdown, I saying “hell yes, I wanna be like Maggie!” as I was reading it! • The relationship with Shift/Shaun & Emily coming out and no longer being a secret. They could have their own spin off from this series - JUST SAYING!! ;) • Ryker’s jealousy of Joshua and his retribution plan - 🔥. I know it came back to bite them in the ass a bit as the story progressed but I felt like fist pumping Ryker throughout that entire scene! Eat shit, Joshua! • the demise of Kincaid and Declan. Mostly Declan cuz he was a twat. Also just saying: the back story of Scarlett’s childhood from Kincaid’s POV could be a spin off, too! • Everyone in the inner circle of the RBMC paying tribute to Duffer and keeping his honor among them was very sweet and I felt it meant a lot to Scarlett. • Scarlett socking Shift to get info from him that Axel told him not to share. Go girl! 😆
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys RH and motorcycle club books. There is quite a bit of past trauma discussed in the book, not all of it in detail - some insinuated - but I would still recommend others reading the TW before diving in to this series.
This is maybe 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because I really enjoyed this series and since this author is a big hit or miss for me, I want to give her that other half a star for making this one a hit for me.
I love an MC series, I love a RH/poly MC series (this series contains MM), and I love an RH/poly MC series with found family viiibes. So, KC Kean really ticked some of my boxes with this one. She also came out of the gate and wrote Scarlett as a strong female and I originally thought "oh, here we go.." because so many (so dang many) authors struggle with a strong FMC and also giving her the vulnerable moments to fall in love that a romance novel requires. However, Scarlett was a bit of a unicorn! She was strong and remained strong throughout the series, but the author did a good job of weaving in the soft and vulnerable moments without taking away any of the core things that made he the strong character she began the series as. I can't say enough how often authors screw this up, including KC Kean herself, I'm just being honest. So I was pleasantly surprised!
Something that I think this author did so well with this series was stay true to the characters. There was definitely growth from everyone, but no one took that 180 shift that always annoys me because the characters complete change their traits. Also, I adored that love (and pussy) didn't magically fix everything, because that's also a hole that many authors fall into. But here things weren't all better because the characters had sex and suddenly they're magically cured of whatever ailed them.
Also, Gray was such a great character. Truly an absolute favorite here!
I do feel like we had a little lull in this 3rd book where the plot wasn't moving in either direction, which was a little irritating. I also feel like Ryker, the MC Prez, was a side character by the end of this book, which was weird.
Honestly, if I dig too deep, there are definitely some issues and things I didn't love and adore in this story, but I'm choosing not to dig too deep. I enjoyed myself and that's all I care about right now. I'm not asking KC Kean to write a masterpiece, I just want something that entertains me and this did that.
So, 5 stars and I highly recommend!
Main Characters: Scarlett, Ryker, Gray, Axel, Emmett
I don’t normally go for MC books but everything KC Kean writes I love so I’ve been waiting for my mood to be right to start these! These books were so engaging. I was page turning so quickly and just dying to get back into my kindle every chance I could. Scarlett and her guys are so genuine in their connection. They are a true found family. The guys have know each other for years but Scarlett is from a rival club and while they’re weary at first, they come to terms pretty quickly that she’s meant to be with them. Not all of them were as easy for Scarlett to be with *cough cough Axel* but he had extreme trauma that needed to be worked though and our girl Scarlett was truly excepting and understood him like nobody else because she had her own to deal with too. I love that they had to work for their relationship, the others weren’t quite instalove but they were closer to that side of the scale. Each of them gave her something that she never had in her life before, Gray was just like a ray of sunshine he was so happy and just wanted to see her enjoy her life. Emmett was someone she could rely on to comfort her when she needed strength and a hug. Ryker was someone who she knew would be level headed. He was born to be a leader and in turn was there for her when she was feeling reckless and needed grounding. I’m also obsessed with the side characters!! Shift!! And the greatest bff ever Emily. Just such a good plot and family unit KC wrote for us. If you love: ⚫️Reverse Harem/why choose ⚫️MM ⚫️found family ⚫️motorcycle club ⚫️Baddie FMC This is for you!!!!
Ruthless Riot by KC Kean is an absolute powerhouse of a read! From the moment I cracked open the first page, I was hooked.
I devoured each page back to back, unable to tear myself away from the gripping storyline. Just when you think you've caught your breath from the cliffhanger in the second book, Scarlett is thrown into yet another heart-pounding confrontation with her past. The resilience she shows in facing her demons head-on left me in awe – seriously, can this girl ever catch a break?
As the final installment of this trilogy unfolds, we're treated to the simmering slow burn romance between Scarlett and the enigmatic Axel. Their chemistry sizzles off the pages, leading up to a moment so explosive that it left me speechless. The intricate plot woven seamlessly with tantalizing spice kept me on edge throughout, guessing at every turn.
The character development in Ruthless Riot is exceptional. Scarlett's unwavering strength is balanced beautifully by moments of vulnerability that only serve to make her more relatable and endearing. The supporting cast adds layers of complexity to the story, providing closure and depth that solidify this trilogy as a must-read.
KC Kean has crafted a series that is as intense as it is addictive. Ruthless Riot not only showcases Scarlett's fierce determination but also hints at deeper histories waiting to be explored – leaving me eagerly anticipating what comes next. If you're looking for a read that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, look no further than Ruthless Riot. Trust me, this book will own you from beginning to end.

This book wasn't any better with the inconsistencies. Add in soooo much time with them just sitting around not really doing anything, sprinkle in some sex scenes all over the place, and you have this book. The story itself is good, but then when you stretch it out to 3 books and don't have enough content, you are left with something that looks like this series.
I still can't get over the inconsistency that she has problems reading and writing, but has no problems with sending or receiving text messages. But then she did have a problem reading the letter from Kincaid. It's one or the other, here. Either she has issues or doesn't. The fact that she does have issues doesn't really add anything to the story at all, so it could have been left out altogether.
I did like the story. The biggest problem, though, is at the beginning they were so quick to retaliate against the Ice Reapers and wiped them all out. Then, with the Brutes, they just seemed to sit around doing nothing. Nothing was happening, and they didn't do anything. Then, we get to the end of the story, and things just fall into their lap. I hate when this happens in books. I want to see them acting consistently. They just seemed to not really care so much about the Brutes.
Overall, the series was OK, but I did have times where I was just bored. It felt like a lot of the intimate scenes were put in there just to have them, not necessarily because it was organic or anything. I don't think I will read these again.
