The Illustrations are amazing!
I was interested in every new story. But the view on women is a bit tiring by the end.

Jeg er nået til 24. nat - hold da op nogle flotte fortællinger. Jeg har altid troet at der i 1001 nat eventyr var et eventyr pr. nat, men sådan forholder det sig slet ikke. Der er i historier, i historier, i historier - vævet ind mellem hinanden for at skabe det samlede billede.
Jeg kan godt forstå at kongen var nysgerrig på den næste historie.

Iconic tales.
But this particular translation is old and not the most enjoyable to read.. But it had some gorgeous illustrations!
