"Can you wait for me? No matter how long it takes..."
I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the first two mysteries. Perhaps it's because I remember them so well from the first time that I read them, but I found 'Odd One Out?' to be rather bland and 'The Spider House' a little overrated. 'The Wounded Detective League' is the best case, and I recall being completed fooled by the ending and upon my initial read about 8 or so years ago. Appearances from Heiji and Kazuha are always a bonus, no matter the quality of the case. A middle of the road volume with nice character moments in stories that, for the most part, don't wow me.

Este tomo es bastante la hostia porque representa muchas de las fortalezas de esta serie, pero que no se me entienda mal; también hace lo propio con algunas flaquezas.
Caso de los Fuegos Artificiales (versión Juegos Olímpicos de Invierno): a esto me refiero con "flaquezas". El caso fluye muy bien, está bien configurado y no se olvida de secundarios como Sonoko, pero la verdad es que tampoco es para tanto. Mi mayor problema es que, para resolverlo, hay que tener mucho conocimiento de Japón y, por desgracia, no soy su público. Lo veo, me doy cuenta de lo bien pensado que está, pero me quedo un poco a medias. Además, sucede todo tan deprisa que no llega nunca a ser memorable; por supuesto, diga lo que diga, sigue siendo un buen caso porque difícilmente Aoyama hace uno malo.
Caso de las Drogomarionetas y las Gemelas Que Dan Puto Miedo: y a esto me refiero con "fortalezas". Coño, qué bien escritos están los diálogos y cómo domina Aoyama el ritmo narrativo. Si entras en esta obra con la idea de que el texto es la base y el dibujo complementario (pero muchas veces necesario), cuesta muy poco disfrutar de la escritura del autor. Cuando le dedica su tiempo a los capítulos, sabe transmitir correctamente personajes, tramas con varias capas y tiempos de profundidad y diálogos acojonantes. Y cielo santo, qué bien pensado está el plan del asesino. Sin duda, uno de los casos más redondos que recuerdo de la serie, con muy pocas fisuras y tensión constante al poner también al reparto principal en peligro. A ver, que lo de "shine" es una gilipollez, pero se lo perdono un poco por el debate moral que plantea y porque todo lo anterior es brillante.
Caso de los Putos Críos en la Gruta + Is this the trama principal?: pues eso, que no soy demasiado fan de la Liga de Detectives Juveniles, pero la relación con Conan me gusta. Verle comportarse como un niño mientras trata de no preocupar al resto en situaciones de tensión funciona de lujo para transmitir esa sensación empática con el protagonista. Ahora bien, aunque el caso del gato y el ratón es interesante, el acertijo es excesivamente enrevesado para mi gusto. Por suerte, después de esto y un par de casualidades forzadas, la serie vuelve a apuntar a la trama principal con un petardazo importante que no me esperaba.
Otro tomo más y, para qué vamos a engañarnos, los que quedan y lo mucho que me da igual que sean setenta y pico más. Esta serie engancha como pocas cuando da sus tiros en la diana y hay que ver lo bien que maneja la narrativa el bueno de Aoyama.

Die Fälle mit den Kindern finde ich immer etwas anstrengend aber uuuuh das Ende. Zum Glück habe ich hier noch die nächsten 6 Bände liegen, yes.

Conan 25 itu salah satu volume favorit. Di komik ini aku dulu langsung pen jadi anggota detektif cilik, trus di sini nunjukkin kemampuan Detektif cilik juga y sbnernya bisa kok tanpa Conan dan Ai. Dan yg pling menegangkan adalah Ran tahu!!! Aaaaaa

I won't fucking rate with those remaining volumes that has no end. Okay I like the whole story. I love the detective play although I think the criminal case is just too complicated. Too illogical in the real way
However it's exciting
What I hate is a very slow end. I know I don't hate the detective play but it feels that it's going nowhere. The cool encounter is interrupted many times and I just can't imagine when will this story make a conclusive point

Amazing deduction

Es sollte doch nur ein schöner Ausflug ins Tropical Land werden, aber wer Conan alias Schinichi kennt, der weißt, dass immer ein neuer Fall auf ihn wartet. Eine Besucherin wird auf der Toilette ermordet und auch sonst geschehen merkwürdige Dinge. Aber dieser Fall ist nichts gegen den, in dem er mit Ran, Kogoro, Heiji und Kazuah gerät. Die Legende der Spinnenkönigin ist schießlich nur eine Legende, oder etwa nicht ? Und zum Schluss gerät Conan mit den Detective Boys in einer Tropfsteinhöhle in Lebensgefahr, zumal auch noch sein Geheimnis aufzufliegen droht...es bleibt also spannend !

Das ist der fünfundzwanzigste Band der Manga-Reihe "Detektiv Conan" und auch, wenn die Fälle in sich abgeschlossen sind, sollte man der Reihe nach lesen, da die Grundgeschichte immer wieder fortgesetzt wird. Es ist als Taschenbuch, sowie e-book erhältlich. Es kommen zwei abgeschlossene Fälle vor und der dritte wird geteilt.
Meine Meinung:
Es ist wirklich eine Ewigkeit her, dass ich zuletzt einen Conan-Band gelesen habe und ich weiß nicht, warum ich mir teils so viel Zeit dazwischen lasse. Obwohl, ich weiß es doch. Ich lese gefühlt unzählige Manga-Reihen gleichzeitig, muss noch meinen SuB weiter abbauen und die Rechnungen bezahlen sich auch nicht von alleine. Nun wurde ich aber mal etwas angestupst, damit ich endlich mal weiterlese und es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Zwar konnte mich nicht jeder Fall hundertprozentig begeistern, aber ich mochte die Mischung sehr gerne und hatte viel Spaß mit diesem Band.
Im ersten Fall wird eine junge Frau auf einer Toilette im Tropical Island ermordet, in dem Conan mit Ran und Sonoko zum Schlittschuhlaufen unterwegs ist. Mir gefiel die Geschichte ganz gut und vor allem Sonoko war ein Highlight, die mal wieder von all den schönen jungen Männern überwältigt war, die da rum liefen, obwohl sie ja noch ihren "Freund" auf Reserve hatte, der gerade in aller Welt unterwegs ist. Der Fall selber war zwar interessant und bot schöne Wendungen, aber so ganz konnte er mich nicht umhauen. Wobei Moris schnelle Theorien, mit denen er sich schon recht lächerlich machte, immer wieder für Lacher sorgte. Die Auflösung war ein wenig Standard und bot keine richtige Überraschung, aber ich fand sie in Ordnung.
Im zweiten Fall werden Kogoro, Ran und Conan zu einem Anwesen bestellt und treffen auf dem Weg dahin auf Heiji und Kazuha, die ebenfalls das gleiche Schreiben erhalten haben und dem Fotografen Robert, der eine Bekannte besuchen möchte. Es geht um ein Rätsel, aber schon kurz nach der Ankunft geschieht ein Mord. Dieser Fall gefiel mir richtig gut und ich habe die Legende über die Spinnenkönigin geliebt, die sehr interessant war. Dadurch bekam die Geschichte so einen schön unheimlichen Gruselflair und vor allem die Zwillinge sorgten doch für den einen oder anderen Schauer. Die Auflösung war sehr traurig und zeigte, wie schnell Missverständnisse enstehen und welche Folgen sie haben können.
Der dritte und letzte Fall wurde geteilt und in der ersten Hälfte begleitete man Conan, die Detective Boys und den Professor zum Zelten. Dabei finden die Kinder eine Tropfsteinhöhle und geraten durch ein Rätsel in Bedrängnis, das vor allem für Conan gefährlich wird. Nun steht auch sein Geheimnis auf der Kippe...Mir gefiel dieser erste Teil sehr gut und auch, wenn ich eigentlich nicht so ein Fan von den Fällen mit den Detective Boys bin, machte dieser viel Spaß. Gerade durch den Handlungsort wurde eine richtig schön klaustrophobische Stimmugn erzeugt und das Rätsel war interessant. Man sollte also den nächsten Teil parat haben, da der Cliffhanger schon fies sein kann.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mir wieder sehr und ich hatte keine Probleme, dem Geschehen zu folgen. Toll war es, wie genau die Mimik der Charaktere dargestellt wurde und man immer ein gutes Gefühl für den Fall hatte.
Fazit:
Es hat wieder richtig Spaß gemacht, einen Detektiv Conan Band zu lesen und jetzt habe ich auch erneut Liúst auf die weiteren Teile bekommen. Der erste Fall konnte mich nicht so ganz überzeugen, dafür gefielen mir die anderen beiden umso mehr. Der Cliffhanger ist etwas fies, macht aber auf den nächsten Band neugierig. Sonoko und Kogoro waren ein absolutes Highlight und es war schön, mal wieder auf Heiji und Kazuha zu treffen, deren Chemie ich einfach liebe. Von mir gibt es:

Another fantastic edition to the series, great and interesting cases with this one. With a really intense ending to boot! Brace for drama ;)
Case 1: Out enjoying a nice day of skating, Conan, Rachel, and Serena run into a random group of fellow skaters who had just come back from skeet shooting. Hanging out before the fireworks show, the group separates, and Serena discovers one of them in the bathroom--shot dead.
One of the characters being named Sano Izumi, as a Hana Kimi fan, through me for a loop there, haha. Not sure if I was in a good mood or this case just hit right, but I found it to be an entertaining one for sure! The culprit and characters in general were a bit wild for me in this one, like damn, chill xD
Case 2: Harley and Kazuha join Richard, Rachel, and Conan at the request of a family of doll makers to help solve the curse of the Spider Queen, where several people have been found hung dead on their property.
Oh man, this was a wild one. I was able to guess the murderer right away, but I think that's more due to the style of Gosho's writing. But the way (and reasons) the murders happened is definitely not what you'd expect! I also loved seeing Harley, of course (and the cover image of him on a motorcycle made me think, "Omg it's Harley on a Harley!" and I made myself laugh, thanks for coming to my TedTalk). There was some suspense with the girls too which added to the tension. And the story of the Spider Queen was a fun one to read. Def enjoyed this one. Gotta say though,
Case 3: What was supposed to be a fun camping adventure with the Detective Kids turns into a run for their lives. It's a race to find the exit to the cave as three killers are right on their tail.
I love the darker and more intense twist with this one. The cases with the kids can often be brutal, but usually for the murder they're investigating, not the potential murder of themselves! I loved that the kids had to rely on themselves to figure things out. And goodness, the cliffhanger! Another banger of an ending, two volumes in a row. Much hype for the next one!

Reread of my favourite case (gave up on the series several hundred chapters later once I realised it's OLDER THAN ME AND STILL NOWHERE NEAR DONE) I get a little rant-y in the following so there are spoilers:
The final case in this volume was always my favourite because it was the first one that actually felt dangerous and had the amazing twist of Conan NOT being physically able to solve it and the kids having to figure things out themselves. Then it ups the ante even more by adding a twist to the Shinichi x Ran plot?! AND the way this happens is that Ran is able to actually figure something out herself which gives her a bit more agency rather than always waiting on the next crumb Shinichi leaves her - man this could have been a great turning point for the series but no we gotta keep the status quo going for another twenty years so let's just ignore this blip ever happened ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (don't get me wrong I enjoy *how* they trick Ran in the next volume, I just wish there had been any sort of furthering of their relationship or Ran's role in the story because of this)
The English-ified names are still weird and I replace them with their actual names in my head as I read. I can't give this 5 stars because even though I enjoy the individual case at the end of this volume, anytime I read/watch Conan I'm left feeling annoyed as I remember how much I loved the main plotline over the individual cases and how the runaway success of the series means I will never get the tight, satisfying conclusion that I want. Also the level of technological growth and number of murders in Japan over what I think is canonically one and a half years or something is the most insane part of the entire thing.

Volume 25 opens up with a murder during fireworks! It was the perfect way to start the volume and wraps up in a relatively quick fashion. Very fulfilling as the story did not feel rushed. The second case of this book involves a mysterious murder in a haunted house full of haunting people. People are claiming the murder is because of the Spider Mistresses Curse….but Detective Conan is having none of that! The final story stars the Junior Detectives as they look for treasure but happen upon some bank robbers disposing of a body. What comes next is maybe the Junior Detectives finest moments…with an injured Conan the other kids are forced to use their smarts to get out of a pickle. Great way to end a great volume.

Conan solves the skating rink bathroom murder. Then Conan, Mori and Ran are joined by Heiji and Kazuha to solve a case where the victim is killed and hung in string made to look like a spider's web. Lastly, Conan and the Detective Boys explore a cave and are pursued by a group of robbers; Conan is shot, and it is revealed that Ran believes Conan is really Shinichi. The translated copy I read at one point refers to the robbers as rubbers ("All the rubbers were arrested") which gave the 12 year old boy inside a chance to titter a lot!

Kirjan kolme tarinaa ovat luovat ja mielenkiintoiset. Kuvitus on selkeää sekä todella yksityiskohtaista, mutta niinhän sen on oltava, jotta vinkkejä ja vihjeitä erottaisi paremmin.
Salapoliisi Conan on kyllä edelleen mangasarjojen aatelia, joka on kestänyt hyvin aikaansa. Suuri suositus dekkarien ja mangan ystäville.

Another volume that I mostly liked. The first case had some interesting diversions as part of the plot. The Spider Lady case was interesting because of the seeming ties to a local legend. I will say that it was kind of a weird jump to have the Osaka kid be a part of the story, even though his final revelation about the murder was brutal. The last case was meh, but I do want to know more about Ran's thought process.

1ère enquête: meurtre à la patinoire, une histoire intéressante mais très classique et la fin est assez triste. J'ai aimé voir un côté plus humain de Sonoko
2ème enquête: encore une histoire dans la forêt avec des légendes, des temples, des secrets de famille. J'ai beaucoup aim cette enquête, c'était une des seules dont je me rappelais depuis la 1ère fois que j'ai lu le livre il y a plus de 10 ans, car la fin était vraiment choquante!! Je ne peux pas m'empêcher d'être un peu triste pour le meurtrier et les actes manqués.
3ème enquête: une histoire sympathique avec les Petits Détectives, ils me surprennent assez régulièrement en bien au final!
et un sacré cliffhanger à la fin, Shinichi a-t-il été découvert?

Lama nggak baca Conan, jadi terhibur sekali nyimak dua cerita dalam satu buku ini. Misteri dewi laba-laba dengan alasan membunuh yang (menurut saya) berlebihan aja kalo hanya karena begitu jadi tega memunuh orang. Plus ada kisah ketika Conan tertembak di perutnya (T_T). Kisah kedua ini lebih seru karena ada drama-drama dan deg degannya.

Reliving some of the epic episodes from the anime is always enjoyable! Here we go again with the murder using the fishing line! I don't remember how many times it was used, but it's such a thrilling and suspenseful plot device that it will also be used again in the next volumes! Ran quickly volunteered to donate blood to Shinichi-Conan! Will Shinichi return in the upcoming chapters?!

The first case was interesting, the second thrilling, but nothing beats the third - in which Conan was shot, the detective kids solved their way through themselves and Ran seems to have known Conan's true identity.

The end of this trade still holds spot as one of the most intense thrillers I've ever read. Which, considering the source, is frankly ridiculous.
Extra points for managing a quick, refreshing mystery in the beginning and some of my very favorite characters visiting to boot.

El caso en la cueva es sin duda uno de mis favoritos si no mi favorito entre todos. La desesperación, la situación de Conan, la cueva, TODO es increíble. Piel de gallina cada vez que caigo de nuevo aquí.

Not my favorite volume. In fact, it was borderline annoying. I can't explain it, but something about the way Ran is continuially deceived gets my goat. Also, why the whole sub-arc with Haibara?

Nette Zusammenstellung von Stories mal wieder, vor allem die mit der Spinnenkönigin war mir neu. Das am Ende die Detective Boys ohne Conan etwas lösten, war auch gut!

One of my favorite mini 'sodes in the vast Detective Conan universe. Still holds up even with the odd English names.
