Book 3 in A Down In Flames Tale, Bruised Forced is a true mates short story. The characters are well developed, and the story is engaging and easy to read. I really enjoyed this story and the series and look forward to reading more from this author.

This was a decent dragon-shifter-fire witch romance. Very steamy in parts, but there wasn't much depth to either character, so their emotions didn't really come through. The plot did have some interesting and unforeseen twists. It also ends in HEA. My recommendation as a voluntary, independent ARC reviewer is to try this one if you just want a light, easy PNR to read.
The book was good. There wasn't really anything wrong with it. But there also wasn't really much to be wowed about it. It was a typical "will they ever end up with each other" book so it was still interesting to read. But there wasn't really anything new about it. I gave it a 3 because I was still able to find it a nice escape into fantasy.

The author did a good job with makin you feel the emotions coming from Austin and Holly. I enjoyed the little back story at the beginning, showing how they first meet. The storyline is interesting and entertaining. Was a quick read but it kept me in it. Overall well done. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Great read, I loved the idea of karma coming for you if you try to hex someone!
I felt so sorry for adult Holly, paying for the mistakes of her teenage self and her, very bad influence, friend. Loved how persistent Austin was, he just wouldn't give up on her.
A fast paced and exhilarating story with loads of passion, drama and forgiveness. The book kept me riveted until the very last page. I received an ARC and leave this review voluntarily.
Kids don't always weigh the consequences to their actions. Holly always thought because of her past, her future was to be alone. Austen has demons of his own, but once he meets Holly, he knows she is his and will do anything to have her. Holly basically has been punishing herself for her youthful choices and does what she has to to make things right again. A great story that will make you think.
