The comic seller told me that Sauer took so long to finish this fourth collection because "he has a girlfriend now", ie. that was seriously what the publisher had given as a reason. Even if it sounds like something from one of these off-beat, likable cartoons. From what I'd seen of the young man, he's unlikely to ever have had a lack of girlfriends, unless his new obsession with haemorrhoids is an indication of ... ;P
Even more so than in volume 4, the one-panel jokes (the best of which was a basically simple and true observation about shoe+key shops) are fillers between longer story-lined strips, where the two scientists with the time-machine get connected to the scrounging dinosaur, and this is linked via ducks impersonating objects to a few yetis and lemmings. And that man in the wall.

Mit dieser Sammlung trifft Joscha Sauer den Nerv seiner eingefleischten Fangemeinde. Lustige Einzelcomics sowie ein durchgängiger Comic mit den unterschiedlichsten Wendungen machen das Werk zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Die Zeichnungen sind wieder sehr schön gestaltet und trumpfen mit so manchen verrücktem Detail auf. Wirklich gelungen und definitiv einen Kauf wert.
