With eyes screaming of sin and a smile like the devil himself, I knew the moment Malik walked into my office that he was trouble. I just hadn’t known he would be the world-imploding, life changing, identity altering kind. Malik is sex and sin, with a multitude of layers underneath, but resisting my very own King of Hell is only the beginning of my problems. There are also my new-found powers and being hunted by paranormal creatures I never knew existed. That’s to say nothing of the threat Malik is to my heart and soul…
MALIK
Find my mate. Take my mate. Bind my mate. The instructions I set for myself couldn’t have been clearer, but fate had other ideas. Sawyer is everything I want in a woman, and everything I wanted to avoid for a mate, but her whiskey eyes, sweet smile, and fiery nature flood my mind day and night, and getting a rise out of her is the only way I can temporarily satiate my need for her. I’d expected resistance from my woman, I hadn’t counted on the bone-deep ache she brought out in me, nor the soul shattering fear I felt at the thought of losing her. With Angels, Demons, and now Reapers on the prowl, protecting the woman I’ve fallen for might just cost me everything…
Wonderful as always! Malik was the perfect alphahole with a soft spot for his Witch. And Sawyer was the perfect match for him in her independent woman sort of way, though you know she also has a soft spot for her Demon, of course, who wouldn't! I also loved seeing a glimpse inside the lives of the previous books' characters while reading the story of Malik and Sawyer. Overall a wonderful story and I can't wait for the next!
I really enjoyed Malik and Sawyer's story. I think we got a little of everything in this book as well. From drama, humor, action and spice. We also got a bit of romance. I liked both main characters. I think that while they were opposites, they fit really well. I loved the banter between them. I felt like their relationship developed naturally even with the mate connection. I think Malik grew the most and I loved him even more by the time the story ended. Overall, it was a great read.
When the nine Kings of Hell found out about the prophecy that will lead to them each finding their mates, their lives changed. After centuries of being alone, they had to adapt to the fact that each of them would find someone that would consume them. On top of the fact that witches, who they thought we're extinct, have been hiding in plain sight for decades.
But Malik always stood by the fact that his two brother's went about it the wrong way, instead of telling his mate the prophecy, he would just mark her and get it over with. There would be time for forgiveness afterward. But when he sees Sawyer from across the street and follows her, Malik finds himself intrigued by the woman and the instant pull she has on him.
There's a bit of an issue though, since she currently has a boyfriend and he is tasked with protecting Adrik's mate, leaving no perfect time to actually "get it over with". Everything about her is perfect for him, but when he finally tells her, he makes her a promise. If she doesnt feel the same about him in a month's time, he will not force her into the bond. Since being marked means their souls will be linked, Sawyer would be made immortal, but without the mark, she would need constant protection, even if it's from afar. But what happens if the tables turn and it's him who needs saving in the end?
My thoughts: I love this series SO much. Each brother is so different from the last. Malik is arrogant and cocky and I absolutely love how Saywer's sass puts him in his place. The storyline in this book was so good, I loved the back story given and how Saywer's past plays a huge role in all of it. Malik is sinful and so flirty and I was all for it! Just like the previous books, the spice is so steamy and I couldn't get enough! I cannot wait for book 4!!😍
I liked Cole, I loved Adrik, Malik....he was just okay. He wasn't my flavor at all, Sawyer was rather blah. HOWEVER, the entire story was so sweet. This is def one of those, slow burn kind of books - possibly why it wasn;t my favorite. However, I think it was needed to continue propelling the series forward. I will say the end was a total twist, after Cole and Adrik I thought for sure Alexis would follow the same plot and ending. But this time, she didn't. While it was very familiar it wasn't identical. Which I appreciated. All and all in is not a very spicy book, but it is a super sweet romance.

This wasn’t my favorite of the brothers books, but I enjoyed the story. I like how all the past characters are there, and I’m excited for the next one.
Each book in this series just gets better and they started off pretty dang great! This is book three and I can't imagine how much better they are going to get if this is anything to go by!! I was so excited to read Malik's story. He was determined to find his mate, mark her, bind her and keep everything much like a business deal and take the forever they have ahead of them to get to know each other. When he sees Sawyer for the first time, all of that quickly goes out the window and he quickly finds that he'll have to woo her and win her over. Sawyer is drawn to Malik, but know there is something he is hiding. She is also figuring out secrets in her own life and when Malik's secrets are added to that, it's almost too much to handle. Sawyer is strong though and is determined to figure it all out - on her own terms. Malik promises to wait to bind them fully until she is ready, but other forces are working quickly to destroy them both. It has plenty of spicy scenes (how can it not with super sexy Malik!), twists and turns in the plot that are unpredictable. Moments that took my breath away and great build up for the next book. So well written and constructed, I wasn't confused or left with any unanswered questions. I was left wanting the next book so badly and am quite upset I'll have to wait for the next one to be written!
Where can I even start with a review of this book! There is so many wonderful things to say, but i don't want to ruin anything for you as a new reader... Only I wish I could re-read this for the first time..this book was that good!
I fell in love with broody Cole, than had my heart stolen by Adrik's passion, so I was left wondering how the playful presentation of Malik at the end of the last book would match up to the powerhouses that are his brothers. But I should not have doubted the author's style or imagination because not only did this book have me falling further in love with all the Kings but it developed Malik's character with such nuance and skill that he quickly became a living breathing person who has taken up rent free space in my mind. This booj can be read as a stand alone even though it is book three in the series, but I love how wonderfully connected the stories are and how much more you will get out of each by knowing what has come before. And, if you have read the perilous books there are some wonderful suprises.and twists that you will not see coming! Ohhhhh I do envy you your first glimpses of Malik and not knowing how his story will end!
I’ll be honest, i didn’t like Malik in the beginning! He’s like that unbearable know it all little brother and that annoying man who can’t take no all rolled in one! I didn’t like Sawyer that much either tho lol it was the waiting to break up that did it for me with her though. But that’s something that just grinds my gears in real life.
Anyways the more i read, the more i started loving them! I loved that Malik went from being cocky to being an amazing partner even tho he is unbearable sometimes. I can’t wait for Sawyer to grow into her powers. (Her mom is a super B btw!) I loved Karl and the appearance of Sara! I can’t wait to see what’s going on with the Reapers and find out who made Witches.
I’m super excited to see what’s going on with Harkyn’s mate! I do think the brothers should give him multiple two pieces for not telling them about the Witches but i understand why he didn’t! He’s a good King for not trying to scoop his mate up at her young age! I hope everything works out in the end!
Malik & Sawyer's story was an amusing, fun one that had a intriguing spin. I didn't think I would like Malik as much as I did. Especially with his whole 'I'm going to do so-and-so when I meet my mate'. But that big chihuahua dropped his ears and wagged his tail the moment his woman walked into the room. I enjoyed the plot soin in this nivel. It left me with so many new questions. I enjoyed seeing the other brothers in this one as well. The characters in this series is what makes the stories enjoyable. I love the brickering and bantering between the brothers. And now with Swayer in the mix, I'm hoping to see her becoming more and more of her strong witch side. I love seing more into the other realm that the reapers roam. As the third book in the series, it was packed more with knowledge than a lot of gore and physical fighting, which I liked. I can't wait to read book into the Kings of Hell and their mates world.
This book was a lot of fun! Author @alexismareeauthor has done it a 3rd time! We've met Malik before as the fun playboy in the first two Kings of Hell series, but as soon as he crosses paths with his mate, Sawyer, unexpectedly, he suddenly understands why his brothers, Cole and Adrik have been acting the way they have. He feels an immediate and incredibly strong connection to her and her to him. Unfortunately, she's also seeing someone. Malik has to bide his time before he gets to finally fulfill the Prophecy and make her his mate. I enjoyed the storyline, though I definitely have more questions that I imagine will be answered as the series goes on. It continues to be one of my favorite spicy series! I can't wait until the next book!
Definitely check out the first two books, Cole and Adrik before enjoying Malik's installment!
Love , love, love this series. This is the third book and Malik’s story does NOT disappoint! Malik is cocky, arrogant, and the best form of trouble from the get go! Sawyer is the FMC who captures his interest and is the perfect mate to match his confidence except that she is taken. Fortunately for us, Malik doesn’t shy away from a challenge. The chemistry, banter, and attraction between Malik and Sawyer lit up the pages of this book. Keeping true to the previous book, the author has created another well written and enjoyable, sexy read! The story line continues to hold interest and the characters are delicious. Loved this read. Can’t wait for book #4.
This book came out the day after my birthday and it was the best gift I could have gotten haha Alexis delivers yet another fabulous read in the Kings of Hell series. The way she incorporates so many different elements and links the storyline’s together is flawless in my option. Malik and Sawyers story had me hooked, I’ll admit I’d waited for this one as Malik seemed like such a cocky bugger that I had to see how he was going to handle his meet cute, and I was not disappointed. The steam is absolutely perfection and the build up is almost better! This series is high in my favourites and I cannot wait for book four in May!
Never before had I ever dreamed that one day I'd like to be a witch when I grew up, but I'm finding that this series has me dreaming of finding a special birthmark hidden somewhere on my body that denotes me as such.
*sigh*
Malik is pure deliciousness. That's really all you need to know.
The world-building and character development in this series are top-notch. Alexis Maree is a masterful storyteller who writes stories that are impossible to put down.
I highly recommend grabbing book one ... Cole and getting started!
I am LOVING this series so much!! I was expecting Malik to be a bit different after getting to see a little of him in the first two books BUT I adore how his story went, he ended up being so damn sweet and patient for Sawyer. He turned into such a cinnamon roll for her. Malik was so flirty and kind of silly and the banter between Malik and Sawyer was great. I am really looking forward to learning more about this world, the inhabitants and all the roles that they play as the series continues. So many great characters that I can't wait to see!!
As always with the Kings of Hell series, I am absolutely in love with the MMC and FMC. I love their love story, and I am absolutely loving the world building that Alexis is doing throughout the series. It is such an intricate world and I am living seeing it develop and cannot wait to read more. My only complaint is that I do not have the entire series in my hot little hands so that I can binge read them lol. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment!
Malik, Mr. when I find my mate, I will mark her right away, she won't have a choice. Well , good luck with that. The prophecy is holding strong. Each has been foretold, and it seems like they are all slowly unfolding. Malik is my now my fave with his jokes hiding his fears. Oof, this man!!! Sawyer is such a sweet thing, pun intended. Lol. You must read this one. I know I always say that but... sigh... you really need to read. Be prepared for hot, spicy scenes and tear filled ones as well.
Wow! Each book just gets better and better!! <3 Wasn't a fan of Malik's character but watching his growth over the last few books and in this one - was awesome! Full of action, drama, romance and spice, the MCs had it all! Their banter and growth in connection unmatched!
Overall, a fabulous read - so well-written and I really can't wait for the next one!
Malik and Sawyer were good for each other. Malik needed someone to flip the script on him. Knowing the prophecy, Malik had it in his mind that he would just "Mark" his mate and let the chips fall where they may. It was very satisfying watching his well laid plans fall to the wayside.
Sawyer was a sweetheart who finally learned who she truly was in this book. With nobody to guide her, Malik was the rock she never knew she needed.
This story continues with the battle between Angels and Demons in their quest to find witches. One side wants to control whereas the other side is seeking their Fated Mates. The plot thicken because now we have Reapers joining in the fray.
Brother #3 has fulfilled his end of the prophecy paving the way for brother #4 who will have a very difficult time achieving his attended goal but one thing is for certain; the Kings of Hell are always up for a challenge.
