When I was reading Deep Within Her I did not know what to expect, then I realized is intended to explored the tabu subject of BDSM. As soon as I finished this book I wanted to read the second one and continue until finished. It has open my eyes to want to learn why people choose this lifestyle. Thank you so much for sharing with us!!!

This was my first read about a Dom/Sub relationship. I loved the way K.L. Silver masterfully portrayed her characters allowing you to effortlessly engage in their enticingly erotic journey. To thine own self be true - words to live by.

Quick read and well written but ended on a cliffhanger. Hopefully there will be a follow up to this story otherwise I've just wasted a precious hour of my life. I dislike unfinished and patchy stories.

What a quick and...strange read. It was ok. Touched mostly on humiliation, but not too much took place in this read. A lot of questions to be answered...Like how did they meet? Guess I'll have to read the next book & hope for the best :)

Ok, let me start by saying FREE NOVELLA, as in, it's a short, quick read...a taste of what's to come (pun intended)...for anyone who doesn't get NOVELLA...It's quite often a prequel or a long drawn out scene(s) of a full length novel or series...So anyone looking for a long read, you may just want to grab Mastered right from the beginning...I myself, like to be led or directed (once again, pun intended) to where it is I need to go. So let's go forward, shall we?
This Review is actually for the free novella, Deep Within Her, kinda like a prequel to Mastered.

Wow! Seriously, WOW!!! Deep Within her starts strong. Right out of the gate, er maybe I should say the grocery store, I am hooked. KL Silver has a way with words. It was as if I was a bystander in the parking lot and watching Missy's face, sensing her confusion, desire and finally her destiny!
"And yet, weak kneed and goggle eyed, she stood silent and immobile. Missy was the proverbial deer, paralyzed in the hypnotic headlights which were his eyes...(oh yes, who wouldn't have been?) without a word, he gazed down at her; into her. She was utterly powerless to look away." SIGH...I would so love to feel this same way, at least I think I would...and after the wonderfully descriptive first encounter, Oh my... I was on edge to see what would happen. Once I started reading this novella, I really did NOT put it down. It was short, oh so freakin' HOT, and damn...I know there's no way on Gods green earth that I would be Dominant, but being submissive has never sounded so good. And I sincerely hope that someday I too will..."recognize a man on a cellular level deep within my soul. And deep within my psyche" See what I mean about the descriptive writing?!!!
This novella is currently free, but it's worth it's weight in gold. If you like a little D/s or don't know if you do, please give Deep Within Her a try! Really, you won't be disappointed

Mastered Vol 1
My first reaction is, Wow, this author has a great writing style! The second is that she has a clever way of drawing her readers into the lines, into the story, into the lives of two people that share the exact same thing; unusual sexual desires. This well written book drew me in like a flame does to a candle. You will be able to use all of your senses, to feel each moment pass by. Yes, as the pages turn you mind will not wonder because of the intensity of what the writer wishes to share. You might be able to relate to parts of the story in a good way, as a learning experience like I did. I learned that Missy Weaver and he past and present life are not so different. I wondered why would she want a man to dominate her? Why would she feel so much love for a man that was able to engulf her entire being, body-soul-and mind all at once. It took one encounter for her to realize who she really was.

I don't really know what to say for this book. It is extremely short but there was a lot put in the this story. There was also a lot that makes you want more. James picks Missy up from a grocery store (well approaches her there) and sees something in her that he desires. He tells her to meet him at his home that night. Now she has no clue who he is except that she feels something for him. I am not surprised she went to his home what I am surprised is what occurred there. Trust me, it is not what you would think. Instead it was a taste test of what to come. I will continue to read the other stories mainly to see how this plays out.

Not a full story, more like one scene from a longer novel. I had some problems with consent and communication with this BDSM as the Dom meets a woman, not in the lifestyle, a natural submissive, but with no knowledge or training and engages her is a D/s scenario without talking to her about anything. No safeword, no limits, no expectations, nada.
