Out of Uniform #10

As Hot as It Gets

Rate this book
Sea, air, land, the bedroom... this SEAL is always in command.

After watching his teammates settle down one by one, Navy SEAL Jackson Ramsey is ready to say goodbye to the single life. He’s even met a woman who intrigues him, challenges him, and turns him right on—Mia Weldrick, the funny and beautiful gardener he can’t wait to get to know better.

Except Mia isn’t interested in dating him, which means it’s time for Jackson to unleash his Texas charm and do some serious wooing.

With a teenage brother to raise, two jobs, and, frankly, a complete disinterest in sex, Mia has no room in her busy life for a six-foot-five SEAL with a naughty streak a mile wide. But one hot kiss from Jackson has her imagining all the dirty ways she could fit him in.

It isn’t long before their no-string fling transforms into something more. As desire unearths emotions and deeply buried secrets, Mia has to decide whether to give love a chance to grow, or let it slip it away.

Warning: This Southern gentleman is wickedly ungentlemanly in the bedroom. He likes it rough and kinky, and he’s not afraid to make his sexual demands known. Anal, spanking, voyeurism, and other surprises await you in this last and dirtiest Out of Uniform installment.

It was perfect! I was keen on reading the latest installment of the Out of Uniform series, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Elle Kennedy is an exceptional writer! (duh...)

She has the talent to create characters you see, you feel, you understand, and you love. It is just amazing.

Oh, Jackson. The kinky one. I love the way he knows exactly who he is. His dirty dominance and gentlemanliness are in perfect balance. He is fierce and lovely, cocky and sheepish, rough and gentle, demanding and giving at the same time.

His ‘sugar’ endearment surely melts your panties off, and his dirty talk drives you wild.

His background story is so shocking and frustrating and undeserved that it makes not only Mia but you too punch someone or something.

Mia. As most of the heroines in this series, she wants only a fling, not a serious relationship. Except she has a very good reason for being scared of emotions, possible heartbreak, and being skeptical of ever-lasting love. She is convinced that “love didn’t fucking exist.”
Mia raises her sixteen-year-old brother Danny alone who was abandoned by their mother two years ago. She is a strong, responsible, and caring woman, with sarcastic humor.

“You—” he pulled back to meet her eyes, “—are absolutely fuckin’ wonderful.”

The romance. Beautiful and smartly-built.

The erotica. Wicked and dirty. Scorching hot and exceptional. Not only the erotic scenes, but the whole story is totally steamy. Mia and Jackson’s bantering about sex, Dylan’s sex-famine, the other SEALs’ constant dirty talk are fun and keep the erotic level of the story high.

“I’m just wondering if the reason I always found sex boring is because I was having boring sex.”

Secondary characters. Danny, Jackson’s teammates, Mia’s mother, Jackson’s family are living. And – needless to say - I’m still in love with Dylan...

“Okay, here’s the next one—Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez,” Cash said from the driver’s seat of his black Ford Escape. Dylan piped up with a grin. “Easy. I’ll field this one. I’d fuck J-Law, marry J-An and kill J-Lo.”
“How about this one?” Seth challenged. “Me, Dylan and Cash. Go.”
Jackson twisted around to smirk at the dark-haired SEAL. “Easy. I’d fuck Cash, marry Dylan and kill you.”

Plot. Perfect.

As Hot As It Gets is a sweet, fun, steamy love story. Highly recommended!

My favorite quotes.

Navy SEAL Jackson Ramsey and Mia - part B of their story

One of my favourite stories in the series! Jackson is a good southern gentleman, but is also a great dirty talker and very very kinky in the bedroom.
Mia is not really interested in sex until she meets Jackson and she discovers that she likes what he likes.
Maybe that's the reason she considered sex too boring before Jackson.

Both of them have their personal stories.
Mia has a bitch mother who abandoned her teenager son and now Mia takes care of him. Not an easy task and Mia has almost no time for herself.
Jackson was shunned from his hometown because his ex-girlfriend accused him for something he could never have done. Now she is married to his brother and Jackson does not feel comfortable going at his parents house.

I loved that Jackson was sure about Mia from the second he meets her. He even stalks her discreetly. He is a nice guy who just wants to find a good girl and settle down.

Soooooo good, and soooooo sexy, and soooo much fun!

Boy did I love this one. It sounds so cliche but I never wanted it to end! This was the last one from a truly sexy and fun series and I really think this might have been my favorite --okay, maybe tied with Dylan's story (Hotter Than Ever).

I loved the leads--6'5" Navy SEAL Jackson Ramsey (28) and petite landscaper Mia Weldrick. He was a sexy Texas gentleman in public, and a dominant, demanding, dirty-talkin' animal in the bedroom. Yet he was also patient and kind, loyal and funny, smart and charming...and sick of being single.

Jackson...
 photo ff54ad8e-fa3b-459f-ab1a-62f26f435b6b_zps7971d2b2.jpg

Twenty-six-year-old Mia was hard working, pretty, sarcastic and down to earth. She didn't play games with Jackson and was up front about things and told it like it was. Mia was the guardian for her 16 year old brother (Danny) and put his needs above her own. When she met Jackson she made it clear that she had no time (or interest) to date because her brother's welfare came first. Mia's parents (absentee father and looney tunes/oft married mother) were out of the picture and Mia vowed that Danny would have the life he deserved. And Mia had no interest in a relationship that included forever.

Mia...
 photo b8e9364e-766f-4f7e-9931-82101f90b4dd_zpseebbe0bc.jpg

But Jackson doesn't want to take no for an answer. Mia is the first "normal" woman who's sparked his interest in a long time (after a string of some really bad set-ups) and he practically dares her to go out with him. Mia lets him know that she's not interested in "hooking up" either (since she thinks sex is a waste of time) and Jackson vows that he can change her mind about sex--she just hasn't been with the right guy. Mia agrees to go out with him "one time" and really, that's all Jackson needs.;)

Wowza, did these two have some smokin' hot chemistry! They had tons of sexy banter (especially on the first date) and you just knew when these two finally went all the way it would be explosive. Jackson's seduction of Mia (where he kept her on edge and wanting more and more (and this reader wanting more) all led up to one scorching chapter (chapter 7, I think I'll read you again) that had me fanning myself. Whew...

"Do people know how dirty you are?" she asked in a breathy voice.
"Do they know that the gentleman thing is a total act?"

"Why, Mia, I am a gentleman." He peered up at her with an evil grin. "But I'm also a dirty motherf***** who wants you to rub your c*** all over his face. Got a problem with that?"

But it wasn't all bedroom games. There was lots of other things going on in the story involving Mia and Danny and their absentee mother; and Jackson had some family problems of his own that made him reluctant to visit his family in Texas. There was also some fun times when Mia met all of Jackson's SEAL buddies and their significant others (love when the guys get together and their funny conversations) and wouldn't you know that even Dylan got a little involved in Jackson and Mia's sexy times...

I loved watching Jackson and Mia's romance evolve from a "no-strings" (at least in Mia's mind) affair to a real loving relationship. When Mia finally realizes her feelings for Jackson it brought tears to my eyes, as did the whole Thanksgiving visit to his parent's Texas ranch.

There was just so much packed into this story, lots of little details about the characters that helps you get to know them and care about them. I felt Mia and Jackson come to life right on the pages, and darn if I wasn't all swept up in their relationship and rooting so hard for them to make it.

The only thing bad I have to say is that this was the last we'll read about SEAL Team 15. However, EK has introduced in this book a SEAL Team with some interesting characters from the East coast (Team 8), so I'm hoping that maybe there will be a spin-off series about them? I for one am not ready to say goodbye to Team 15, but if we have to, I'd sure like to see what EK can do with Team 8!

If you're looking for a fun, hawt series that gets hotter with each successive story, with characters who seem real and relatable, with the heroes being sexy, irresistible alphas and the heroines women you can see yourself being friends with, then this is the series for you. I honestly enjoyed every minute of these 10 books...just wish they could go on forever! 5 stars

Warning: this book is pretty hot, with explicit dialogue; explicit sex (including oral and one anal scene); the use of a sex toy, some spanking, and some exhibitionism in front of a third party. Not for the faint of heart.

**There is a prequel to this story available for free, detailing Jackson's search for a meaningful relationship--A Little Bit of Hot

AS HOT AS IT GETS is book ten in the Out of Uniform series and it’s also the last one! *sobs* I absolutely adore this series and experienced a bittersweet feeling when it all ended. Elle Kennedy has a fabulous series on her hands. If you haven’t tried it already, you are missing out on some intensely hot sex scenes, fabulous and fierce heroines and heroes that are just to die for! I’m told that the spin off series will be just as fun so I’m excited to see where Kennedy ventures next!

But back to this book… If you’ve read the freebie short available called A LITTLE BIT OF HOT, then you’re already familiar with smooth-talking Texan, Jackson Ramsey and his unfortunate – but hilarious! – encounters with women. He first meets Mia when she is digging through a garden, trying to locate her missing phone. Filled with playfulness and a combustible sexual tension, this book starts off on the right footing and takes off from there.

One of the immediate things I noticed and loved about this book is the characters. Jackson and Mia just exploded from the pages for me. Bursting with personality, the both of them are fabulous individually and I found myself genuinely enjoying myself as I read about them. Mia has a lot of responsibilities on her hands. As she runs her own business while also caring from her teenage brother, she doesn’t have much time on the dating scene. However, upon meeting her, Jackson finds himself half in love with her already and will anything it takes to see her again – even if it means hiring her gardening company just so he can try asking her out again.

As usual, there are some intensely erotic sex scenes in here. They are scorching, they are playful and they are very, very sexy. I find that Kennedy always strikes the perfect balance of emotion and intensity in her sex scenes. It’s why I enjoy these books so much. For readers who are fans of Tessa Bailey’s Line of Duty series, I think many would find this series comparable.

Another thing I have to mention is the pacing. Kennedy really has a tight game in this book. Everything flows so wonderfully, making each scene feel so seamless. Once you start, it’s almost impossible to stop.

Drenched in sensuality, Elle Kennedy’s Out of Uniform series is evocative and sinful, getting hotter and hotter with each new instalment. Even as the series comes to an end, Kennedy holds readers captive until the final, sizzling scene in AS HOT AS IT GETS.

Copy kindly received via Bocci PR in exchange for an honest review.

It's taken me a while to get to this one, as its been sitting in my backlog for a while, unfortunately. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to get to it, because I sped through it in one sitting.

Really easy to read, characters that I liked, and so I just couldn't put it down. Jackson was a really fun character, and Mia was great too, even with her reservations and the responsibilities in her life that she has. She has a wonderful relationship with her brother Danny, and I liked how he had some great parts in the book too.

This fun and steamy, with some serious and emotional parts thrown in as well. Really enjoyed it, and definitely recommend.

I really liked it until the voyeurism part where Dylan (H of book 9) watched the H/h have sex with everyone’s consent. I didn’t like it coz Dylan was supposed to be so in love with his 2 partners, Claire and Adrian, but he was saying stuff like he really wanted to join Jackson and Mia. Kinda ruined my enjoyment of book 9 which I gave 5 stars.. /sigh

All in all, I still enjoyed this book. Their meet-cute was def cute. I understood Mia’s hesitance to have a relationship coz of her awful mother and her life growing up. I liked how Jackson pursued her despite her hesitance.

I didn’t like the side story of Jackson’s ex and his bro. I would not have forgiven any of them, they deserve to be miserable for the rest of their lives. His ex lied about him raping her and his bro beat him severely coz he was ‘in love’ with the ex.

YES GAWD .

This book RIGHT HERE, is why I love this series so much. A perfect blend of naughty, sweet and romantic. With a dash of problematic subplots that keep you invested in the characters' backstories.

Now, children shield your eyes, because it's about to go down because Jackson is, in my opinion, the hottest hero in the series. Dominant (in the literal sense), that dazzling southern accent and his little endearing pet names for our heroine, Mia, will cumulatively knock you off your feet.

"Do people know how dirty you are?" she asked in a breathy voice. "Do they know that the whole gentleman thing is a total act?"
"Why, Mia, I am a gentleman." He peered up at her with an evil grin. "But I'm also a dirty motherfucker who wants you to rub your cunt all over his face. Got a problem with that?"

This being a longer installment in the Out of Uniform series, we were granted a bit more preamble to the actual sex - but not much. The perfect amount, honestly. Enough plot thrown in to make this relationship memorable.

"You lured me out of the house for the first date I've had in two years." She raised her eyebrows in challenge. "Time to show me what you've got, sugar."
He flashed her a grin. "Hmmm... I can take my shirt off if you want. That usually gets the ladies goin'."
She rolled her eyes. "I don't doubt it. But I was thinking more along the lines of you wowing me with your conversational prowess."

Jackson - or 'Texas' as he's affectionately known with the rest of his team - is a long way from his birthplace. And for good reason. He was royally screwed over by his brother and his long-time girlfriend, and he's spent a good 3 years willing himself to forget about the pain of detaching himself from the whole of his family. No love lost from leaving that town in Texas, though. They've all labeled him a sexual deviant after his favored bedroom activities come to light. The desire to have a somewhat submissive woman in bed has also made it near impossible to have a lasting relationship. That is... until Mia.

Mia is a gardener, and damn good at it. When Jackson stumbles upon her working on his neighbor's yard, and verbally banters with her, he knows he has to see her again. The problem? She never wants a real relationship. Won't even date. She thinks sex is boring. And to top it off? He has to hire her to work on his buddy's yard to even see her again. No problem... He'll just lay on that southern charm of his, and win her over on the idea of a date. And then a second... and then so on.

"Jesus. Yes. Oh my god, Jackson, you really are nuts."
"Good nuts or bad nuts?"
"There's no such thing as good nuts!"
Smirking, he lowered his hand and cupped his groin. "Sure there is, darlin'."

Soon, the two are inseparable, and Mia is having a hard time remembering why she even came up with her 'no-relationship' rule in the first place. Especially when it comes to Jackson who completely lights her up sexually, and emotionally. For once, she not only cares about herself and her brother - who she has custody of - but a man who's supportive and is there for her through everything.

I'm addicted to these books. They're all solid gold in my opinion, and this may be one of my favorites out of the lot - at least a close second behind Dylan/Claire/Aidan's story. And yes, you do see Dylan in this installment, though he plays voyeur this time around. Little manwhore. ;)

Till next time cuties ;)!

Oh I love this erotic series by Elle Kennedy. Featuring Navy SEAL heroes and the women who tame them, this is the final installment, and I’m so sad to see it go. As Hot as it Gets is a great end though.

Jackson is all southern charm and nice manners on the outside, but a dominant side comes out inside the bedroom. He goes through a lot of women, and is tired of only hooking up. He wants something more and meaningful in a relationship. He happens to see a cute gardener at his neighbor’s house one day and after talking to her for a bit, there is a definite spark there. He cajoles her into going out on a date with him, even though she is quite reluctant.

Mia is a little shy of dating because she is raising her 16-year-old brother. After their mother took off two years ago, Mia became Danny’s legal guardian. Between keeping him in line and working round the clock, she doesn’t have much time for dating. But Jackson is persistent so she finally gives in. She learns quick that Jackson’s southern drawl and easy smile hides a very naughty man and oh does she like it.

Elle Kennedy has created a group of guys that are alpha, funny and so addicted to sex. I love when they are hanging out together because they give each other such a hard time, and I also love to see them fall in love, because it’s not only romantic but it’s pretty dirty too. They each have such a good sense of humor, especially Jackson. He knows Mia is a little more inexperienced in the bedroom, and he sets out to convince her to let him show her a good time. A little naughty talk at the dinner table kicks things off:

“Tell me one sexy secret nobody knows about you.”

Mia wrapped her fingers around her glass. “Hmmm. Well. How’s this? I
keep a nine-inch dildo in a locked drawer beside my bed.”

His semi-erection transformed into a full-blown boner.

Breathing through the intense wave of arousal, Jackson responded in a casual voice. “Interesting. Because my sexy secret was gonna be that I have a nine-inch cock.”

“Wow. Congratulations, big boy.” His date snorted, then raised her glass to her lips.

“Oh, and it’s pierced.”

While she likes to pretend his openness about sex doesn’t affect her, she soon invites him back to her bedroom. He shows her how wonderful and exciting sex can be (she thought it was boring previously) and she wants more, more, more.

Mia is a pretty strong, confident woman. She has some lingering issues from her mother who was not motherly at all that arise throughout the book. Mia kind of freaks out at one point and it felt a little forced and immature – but I really like how she apologizes for it later. Well done Mia. I like how this author writes Mia’s brother too. He felt like a very realistic teenager and added a lot to the story.

We see all the guys from the previous books and there is lots of joking and giving each other a hard time. And this author likes to always sneak in one extra dirty sex scene in each book – this book is no exception. I won’t give away what it is but Smexy approved.

All of these books can be read as a stand alone but I’ve enjoyed the entire series. The first few are more novella length but the last couple are longer, more complete books. I highly recommend this series.

2.5 very disappointed stars. The highlight of the book was enjoying Seth, Cash, delicious Dylan and Jackson's hysterical banter!!! Their Fuck Marry Kill game was a hoot! One of the great things about this series is the relationships they have with each other.

I had been looking forward to Jackson getting his own HEA but he wasn't what I expected at all. He's sweet and charming and had the Texas twang down pat but I wasn't buying into his supposed 'dark side' for some reason. Considering all the sharing and alternate lifestyles of the rest of the team, Jackson enjoying being a dominate was not a big deal.

Unfortunately the object of Jackson's desires was the extremely annoying Mia. I never felt their attraction. It all felt so forced. I TRIED to like her but just when she finally stepped up for Jackson she followed it up with yet more of her childish behavior. I basically ran out of curse words for her towards the end.

Even though I didn't come away enjoying this book and I am probably in the minority, if you are a fan of the series you should give this book a read. Happy reading.

5 spicy-sweet stars

✔️ Dual POVs (Jackson x Mia)
✔️ Set in San Diego
✔️ FAST paced and spicy!
✔️ Tropes: Emotional scars

Despite the very spicy notes, this book was actually a very sweet, pretty straightforward romance. They go on dates! He steadfastly tries to win her over (spoiler: It works!). I was almost wondering where the conflict could even come from since both main characters are pretty well rounded. The FMC doesn’t believe in love since her mom was a POS. The MMC needs to work things out with his family before he can make his own.

This was a supremely easy read, very cute, and very sexy.

I finally got round to reading the last book in the series, and I gotta say...what a way to finish. Jackson Ramsey is hot as sin and I just knew that dirty-talking SEAL was going to slay me. His chemistry with Mia is insane, and he even had me blushing a time or two! I really do adore the whole “Out of Uniform” gang and know that without a doubt I’ll be revisiting these books over and over again in the future.

My second favorite in this series.
Little bit of misunderstanding and insecurities, but resolving them wasn't rushed.
Both characters are lovable people who seem to really care about each other and show it with actions if not with words in beginning.
Spice was hot 🔥🔥🔥
But it was realistic and fit to the story.
I liked the ending and i though they all got the happy ending they deserved.

4.5 stars. This book was just so much fun. And sexy as all get out. Elle Kennedy really has a knack of writing male characters - the banter between the guys felt authentic as well as making me laugh a lot of the time. Their game of "Fuck Marry Kill" was just one example.

I enjoyed Mia and Texas' romance and watching them sort through the family issues each had to deal with to truly be able to embrace their HEA.

Read the free short A Little Bit of Hot first as it is kind of like the first couple of chapters of Mia and Texas' story and it has some fun with Texas being set up on a series of really bad blind dates.

Looks like there will be a spin-off series featuring the SEALs of team 8 from the East Coast. Yay.

I really enjoyed this one. Highly recommend.

Oh I loved Jackson. What a sweet, sexy guy and he likes to dominate AND he has a pierced penis. Enough said.
I also liked Mia even though she was so stubborn although I could understand why.
They were perfect together and even though they had to deal with fucked up family issues, they were supportive to each other.
Loved seeing past characters and as always it made me howl with laughter how they talk to each other. And as always, the sex in these books was smoking' hot.
Is this the last book in the series? I hope not.

Just did a re-read and LOVE Jackson. He would be the best lover. YUM

4.5 STARS

I began reading this series back in 2008 when it started and because As Hot As It Gets is the last book that it’s the end of an era. I’ve been through the ups and downs of this SEAL team, gone on missions with them, was there when they met the loves of their lives, through the births of their children, and to torment the new members as they came in. Each book has been special in its own way but this one is super special because for once I feel like everything is settled and happy.

So while the ending of this series is tough, my heart is happy.
I’ve always had a little bit of a crush on Jackson Ramsey (Texas) probably because he’s from my home state but I think it has more to do with the fact that he’s always been a gentleman and a good friend. He’s just a nice guy and I love that he isn’t afraid to admit he wants to settle down with the right woman. He doesn’t shy away from commitment because he has the best example of it in his parents. He’s watched all the members of his team find their love match and he wants that for himself so when he encounters a woman who excites him, challenges him but wants nothing to do with him, he sets a plan in motion to be able to see her again and try again.

I loved the heroine Mia Weldrick in this story; she’s sassy, she works hard, she is giving, and she unselfishly is raising her 16 year old brother. I love her outspoken nature, the way she doesn’t take crap off anyone, and her protective spirit for anyone she cares about. I also love that she simply can’t resist the charm of Jackson no matter how hard she tries.

Jackson worms his way into Mia’s life but honestly after the first date she really doesn’t try very hard to discourage him and after their parking lot encounter I’m not sure most women would. I love the way Jackson broke down her barriers, the way he gave so much to Mia without expecting anything in return, the way he became a role model for Danny, and how he has no problem letting Mia be her own person. I appreciated the fact that even though he really wanted Mia sexually he went slowly because he was worried his sexual tastes might scare her off. While Mia was surprised, I love that she didn’t ridicule or put distance between them but found she rather enjoyed the kink Jackson needed. Let’s just say this book was aptly named because their encounters were pretty damn hot especially the voyeuristic scene with his teammate, Dylan. Whew!
As much as I loved the hot sex, there was so much more to this story.

Mia and Danny were dealing with their mother reappearing in their lives and Jackson had to face some demons from his past as well. Everything about this story seemed more detailed and fuller than most of the other book and I truly appreciated it.
As sad as I am to see this series end it couldn’t have ended on a higher note, As Hot As It Get is simply an awesome story and a fitting ending to this series.

*Reviewers note: As a lifelong Texan, I had some issues with this story when Jackson and Mia traveled to his home state. Normally these kinds of things can really ruin a book for me but I loved this couple and their story so much that I was able to overlook the issues.

I took a chance on this book because the description sounded good. First book for me by this author. This is #10 in the Out of Uniform series and I have now marked all the other 9 books to read. Holy hotness this book was a 4.5 rating for me leaning to a full 5 stars. The series is about a team of Navy Seals and the women they fall for. Ms. Kennedy sets a new standard for writing a hot, alpha, possessive, sexy, military man. The sex scenes in this book had me fanning myself and day dreaming about being the h. The plot is believable and I loved the way she wrote the relationship between Mia and her brother Danny. There's not any angst other than getting all nervous about Mia finally committing to Jackson, but even that is not drawn out too much. I met all of the other guys in the team and immediately wanted to read each of their stories. This author and this series is going to the top of my list and I highly recommend it for the ones that like to read good love stories about hot, alpha, military men. And I have to say the h in this story was strong and didn't make me roll my eyes. This was definitely a stand alone complete novel, no cheating and a damn good read.

This heroine was too resistant to loving her man.
There was a struggle in this book, where the heroine just refused to accept that she was in a relationship, that she loved Jackson, that she wanted to be with him and that they would not end in a breakup. I understood the reasoning but what I did not get was why this was 95% of the story. As usual I loved the writing and EK's sense of humour and re-visiting with the hot-soldier men from previous books, but I could not like this heroine as much as I would have liked to. Perhaps if the book had not been short, the story could have been better filled out and shown Mia in a better light where she loved Jackson and did not only show it by having hot sex with him. Jackson on the other hand had an interesting past and it was a sad one, so his response to run away from it mostly made sense, but he definitely did not run from love. This hero was not scared to love and show it, he was supportive, sweet, strong and the reason I give this book 4 stars. Sadly, not one for me re-read shelf though.

As Hot as It Gets was a delicious quick read.
Elle Kennedy has an amazing sense of humor what's shine through in this one too. Also I have to give it to her she can write spicy, sizzling hot scenes as well. However the plot wasn't very original and sadly it wrapped up way too soon for my taste. Apart from these it's a decent erotic romance between a kinky, possessive hero and a sarcastic, down-to-earth heroine. I really enjoyed it.

My favorite quote:
“At the end of the day, family is the most important thing you've got. Family and love.”

Quickshot Review
The final book in the series is pretty sexy, though I think the pinnacle was the last book, Hotter Than Ever - that probably should have been the proverbial mic drop for the series. Nevertheless, it was fun reading about Jackson, Mia and his secret kink, which to me wasn’t even that kinky. The chemistry was good, the story wasn’t bad though this series has been more about the wild sex than anything else.

If you’ve read the rest, you’ll enjoy this. If you haven’t, don’t start with this book - there’s a lot of returning characters, and you’ll be missing some of the history. The hottest entries in my opinion? Hotter Than Ever and Feeling Hot, both of which feature Dylan, the hottest bi-sexual SEAL I’ve ever read about lol.

Steamy!

I loved this book! I didn’t know that Elle Kennedy had this series and I’m so glad I found it! This is definitely hotter than the other books I’ve read by Elle, so beware if that’s something you aren’t into. Jackson was every bit the alpha male and I loved how Mia held her own with him. Their chemistry was great! My heart broke for Danny and I would love to see his story once he’s older. There weren’t any overly dramatic issues or relationship drama which is something that I really appreciate in books. The secondary characters were great as well and now I’m going to read the beginning of the series to see how their stories unfolded. Really recommend if you’re looking for a quick read with some great characters that has some heat.

Holy hell!!!! Imma need an ice bath, followed by a cold shower for the next couple of weeks in order to recover from this one!!!! Jackson’s story is by far my fave out of this series. I didn’t want it to end.

Ugh I love when a woman puts up a fight🤚🏼 like yes make him work for it and Jackson WORKED. Plus the relationship between Jackson and Danny was so adorable, Danny really idolised him so much. Watching the last man of the group find their love is always the most beautiful thing and I was so excited to see who Jackson ended up with. I ate this up loved it so much!! Elle Kennedy will always get the job done
