人间词话 is Wang Guowei's comment on the reflection of old Chinese literature after receiving the baptism of western aesthetic thought. Wang Guowei engaged in the study of Western philosophy in his early years. But later he got tired of studying Western philosophy and devoted himself to the study of traditional Chinese culture. Human Words is his work of this period. Although some of his western thoughts are reflected in the book from time to time, in terms of genre and criticism, the book is actually similar to traditional Chinese poetry and words, such as Li Qingzhao's "词论". Good book to read.
