After ex Marine Jeremy Ashton takes his young charge things heat up between the two until the inevitable happens. How will they deal with this news? Will it put the brakes on their budding relationship? Or will they grow even closer?
After reading book one in this series about a year ago, I decided to buddy read book two with my book mate,Beverly. I knew it would be smutty and the grammar would be terrible if it was anything like the first (and both were true with the second), but it was still entertaining and hot! There were some laugh out loud moments and funny texts back and forth between us. Reading a book like this is straight up a guilty pleasure. You just can’t take it too seriously.
I am not the punctuation police or a grammar nazi… but wow. I would love to go through and edit this book. There are so many run on sentences it is just distracting.
Even though this book had it’s issues with grammar, a crazy over the top alpha and certain unrealistic things going on, it was still enjoyable and fun.
If you’re looking for a fun and smutty read- this might be the book for you!
As promised I read the sequel to Taken. After a whole, whole, whole lot sex with the 11 inch cock Jeremy and Nikki are pregnant.
This tells the story of Jeremy and Nikki coming come grasp with the unexpected pregnancy, and how do you do that??
oh and a little of this...
Like its predecessor this book is riddled with run on sentences, typos, and lots of steamy hot sex.
I have thought about how to rate this, really struggled with it...
...after a good minute I decided 3 stars were fair.
This book is fucking hilarious, even if it isn't supposed to be, and there is lots of hot sex - all in 44 pages. I was completely entertained and loved reading it with my book mate!
Should you take this book seriously??
I have to thank my bestie Christy, I love our smutty weekly book read, can't wait to continue on our journey of Jordan Siliver's work!
Just finished these books. This is probably the only book I would actually consider returning! This guy is just a dick!!!! And pretty sure if the story continued it would be the best example of domestic abuse! This is a man clearly obsessed with himself!
Since I love alfa males I decided to read this. Boy was I wrong! This book was awful. Jeremy was acting like a jerk. He can go out to talk (that's what he said!) for couple hours with his Hump em and Dump em girlfriends, and feels the right to be mad at Nicola (and punishes her)when she decides to ignore him because of that. And when she went for a walk, since she was mad he was out with above mentioned, he went to town to find her and treated her as someone who isn't carrying his baby- he yelled at her, called her names, accused her for trying to kill the baby... I mean, who the fuck treats their loved ones like that?! And above all that, what kind of all-grown-up man would decide to have sex with 18 year old virgin?! I'm all for hot sex scenes but I can't get over the fact that he is 35!! In my mind he is some old psycho and she is just a mere girl! I'm sorry, but this gets a low one star.
The grammar/punctuation was so bad, I figured it was Freudian stream-of-consciousness. There was no point in whining about it, after awhile. And the sexy bits just started to get old after awhile. I know I'd be investing in a blow up doll for Jeremy with his 11 inch schlong, because sex several times a day for hours at a go is just too much, isn't it? And that filthy mouth of his, well, okay, that was hot. :D And Nicola was such a spoiled, little brat, how could he fall in love with her? I saw nothing delightful about her personality.
This is note a good book by any stretch of the imagination. Anytime a person of authority takes advantage of their position, it's a travesty. The whole forbidden angle was much more then that it was disgusting. A teenager should be allowed to experience life just like he and her father did. So what is the problem!? You have to completely take over her life an ruin all of her dreams and independence. I can't enjoy a book like that for the romance part but some of the smut was good. However, anytime someone is making hurt noises during sex, that's not a good thing. 2.5 stars. Never going to read again.

More over the top alpha smutty fun. Nice conclusion to Jeremy and Nikki's ummm dysfunctional ummm..yea we'll call it romance! :) Dirty sexing, pregnancy, over the top alpha male and an HEA left me smiling.
I read the first of this forever ago and kept intending to come back to this one but never did. I wasn't sure if I could pick it all up again after so long but as soon as I started reading I remembered it and it was ok. It worked :)
what the fuck did I just read?????? I'm convinced the author is either a dude or a virgin.... perhaps both. You know that moment where there's an accident and you can't help but to look, even though you know there's a chance you won't like what you see?? yeah, that's the only explanation I have for why I read the sequel.
I like the plot in this series, but it is in serious need of copy editing. It was as if the author had a limited number of periods and commas that she was allowed to use. I had to backtrack so many times, to figure out where the break was supposed to be! that it took away from some of the enjoyment. The sex scenes are hot, but I'd love more character development. It's entirely the hero's POV, which is a change, too.
Example -
“Shit I slipped I hadn’t wanted to say that now with all this uncertainty hanging over our heads, I’d wanted to wait until things had been squared away with her dad I thought she would better appreciate it then oh well the cat was out of the bag now wasn’t it?”

If you're in the mood for something super steamy and lewd with a side serving of caveman, Jordan Silver never disappoints! My hubby loves it when he finds me reading Jordan Silver 😈
A few things that could have gone a LOT better, went a LOT worse that I thought they would.
And even with the whole "get her pregnant" and "I want my own mini-me" which I didn't mind, what I minded was how he dealt with her and certain situations on a few occasions!
Im starting to realize that Jordan Silver's books have not been properly edited. They are like the first draft that u mentally vomit and just publish. 2 stars for the yummy smutty, but the lack of punctuation made me have to re-read sentences again
Apparently while writing a book grammar and punctuation are not important! This series was so .. just so ... I cant even find a world to describe it. Since when was it okay to just write a book with no plot in it whatsoever ? It was just like ... sex ... sex....sex...abuse...sex...sex.. I mean dont get me wrong I love my smutt just as much as the next girl but COME ON PEOPLE a story has to have a bit of a plot and proper language ! This was my first Jordan sparks series and I am not even contemplating picking out another anymore.
Nicola and Ashton continue on with their shenanigans in this follow-up to book one. There's more drama in this story as Nikki adjusts to her condition and Ashton acknowledges his feelings for her. There's still just as much humor and erotica in this short story, and just as many noticeable editing issues. Overall, this was an okay read.
The male character was really obnoxious and I wasn't quite sure how I felt about the idea of the girl being only eighteen. But the writing was engaging.
Not really sure why this book was written. Sure, it continues on after Taken, but... it doesn't really add much. Jordan Silver writes smut and that's what we expect. So, that being said, there isn't really too much smut in this book. Whatever his name is TELLS the reader about how often he's banging Nikki or Nicola, but we actually don't get much play-by-play.
Also, as others have mentioned, he's really over the top in this one, more so than he was in Taken. In Taken, he's an a-hole who is on a horny rampage. In this one, he tries to act like he's a responsible adult when he just comes across as an insecure a-hole who has to be in charge. He reminds me of someone I knew who was really, really ignorant (I'm talking he can barely read and write ignorant). But, he was a bully and had a really loud voice and completely dominated his family. This is how whatever-his-name-is comes across.
Also, this is Jordan Silver so there are grammar and spelling issues. It's gotten much better, but she still needs an editor. Or a better editor.
This was a bit better than book 1. But seriously, what's the problem with pregnant women walking for 1 hour? I'm telling you it's not dangerous! You know, pregnant women keep working, go grocery shopping, visit places, etc.. A 1 hour walk is nothing. So, that was b*llsh*t!
This is a story about a sexy seductive older male name Jeremy and a young woman named Nicola. She sent to his home for the summer months, but a bachelor with a sexy body female , summer is hot for Jeremy, and Nicola.
the mmc gives conservative vibes and eww !!! Also I only picked this up cus I wanted a short pregnancy trope book but this was terrible . Would not reccommend at all . I regret this . Would give 0 stars if I could
