★★★★! Beautiful Surrender, book 3 of 3. The conclusion of a tattooed surfer turned self-made Billionaire’s hot pursuit of his off-the-limits wealth manager!

“But if we make it through this together, we’ll be stronger. If we make it through this alone, we’ll just be better at being alone.”

Books in the Surrender series should be read in order:
Book 1: Forbidden Surrender
Book 2: Secret Surrender
Book 3: Beautiful Surrender

In Forbidden Surrender (book 1) wealth manager Kristen Daley pitched tattooed surfer turned self-made Billionaire Vincent Sorenson on letting her company invest his fortune. Kristen strived to maintain a professional relationship while Vincent zeroed in on seduction…

In Secret Surrender (book 2) Vincent and Kristen are working together while secretly embarking on a romantic and sexual relationship. Things are going smoothly… until they are not, followed by a huge cliffy!

In Beautiful Surrender (book 3) Kristen finds herself reminiscing about her past and trying to come to terms with what just landed on her door step. In addition Vincent and Kristen have some huge issues to sort out… Big trouble brewing… I will say no more as their story is best experienced!

Seven words to describe Vincent: Relentless, charming, noble, driven, thrill-seeker, reasonable and complex.

 photo WestSurrender1-3HeroinebySueBee_zps572b16b2.jpg

I am happy to report that Kristen grew a bit of a backbone in this story. Seven words to describe Kristen: Smart, indecisive, stubborn, insecure, ambitious, predictable and endearing.

Overall an enjoyable series with a fast-paced and entertaining, albeit predictable plot! Interesting and charming alpha hero! A quick, sexy and feel-good read!

The conclusion to the Surrender Series by Priscilla West....

Vincent charmed his way into Kristen's heart with his gorgeous ways; she believes they share something special? Is this reality, or has he been playing her the whole time? She's sees another side to Vincent?

Kristen's past barges violently back into her life... What does he want???

There's drama and a situation.... What will the consequences be???

It was clear where the story was going but at the same time Beautiful Surrender, and indeed, the entire series was compulsive reading. I wanted to hear their story and hopefully witness their happy ever after. Would it be possible?

Beautiful Surrender is a sexy, romantic series with a delectable billionaire boyfriend. I enjoyed Vincent immensely and feel if this series had been one book with a really good edit it would have been a solid 4 star read. I will certainly read more from this author in the future. So if you enjoy richer than rich book boyfriends who are incredible sexy, gorgeous, and romantic, and know how to please their lady, then you may enjoy the 'Vincent' experience too.

In this final book, Kristen is being stalked by her sick and crazy ex-boyfriend that is settled on getting her back… at all costs.
Vincent wants to protect her but he can’t do that until she starts trusting him again, and that’s not an easy task for Kristen.
But suddenly, Kristen’s finds out something life-changing that will change both their courses and it’s something that can bring them together… or take them apart for good.

description

This was a better book than the previous one. Although some aspects of the conversations and in some moments the writing style set me off, the story was sweet and had a nice development. I could feel more connected with the characters than previously.

One of the problems for me was the length, this was too short. Instead of doing this a series, the author could probably unite the three books together and it would make a nice stand-alone. But please, with a longer epilogue. You author need to realize that most of us are readers with needs… needs that include fairytale epilogues that will make us giddy!
In overall, these were nice books and I you’re in need of a quick, slight predictable, reading, low on angst with a romantic streak and some steam, you have to give this a try ;)

3 Nothing Worth Pursuing Comes Without Risks Stars

In the final book of this series, Kristen was really beginning to get on my nerves in the beginning. So what if Vincent hired a security team to watch over her without her knowledge. She has a crazy ex-boyfriend who physically hurt her before and now he's found out where she lives. Kristen being mad at Vincent for that just seemed like added extra drama and I felt like it wasn't needed. Luckily, her roommate, Riley, was there to talk some sense into her when she was thinking about breaking up with Vincent.

Vincent was so sweet. His technique for trying to give Kristen an idea of what it's like to walk in his shoes, he melted me with that one.

Just as they decide to work things out life throws them several curveballs all at once. Then, with a crazy ex running around acting crazy, thinking he's protecting Kristen from Vincent, things get a bit dicey. Will they survive? Will their relationship work out? Is it worth the risk?

"What relationship isn't a risk? Sometimes you have to take a risk because the reward is worth it."

This was a great series. I enjoyed all three books even though parts of it were predictable. These were the first books that I've read by Priscilla West, but they won't be the last.

SO MUCH DRAMA!

This trilogy is sooo addicting!Even when I’m irritated with behavior of our characters I just can’t stop reading. And wow,the last book in Forever trilogy is da bomb. Not going to say much because I don’t want to spoil it for you guys, but you should know that so many crazy things happen in this one. Some of them are bad and some of them great and exciting. And of course, I NEED A LONGER EPILOGUE!I really enjoyed reading this book and this trilogy in general.

Also,Vincent is the best freaking part of this trilogy.
“I love you, Kristen. I mean truly love you. Not obsession. Not lust. Not selfish possession. Not some kind of blind idealism. Not some sick, twisted version of love—but the real thing. One with eyes open. One with respect. One that never underestimates the hardships to its existence, never takes the other person for granted. The only kind of love there really is.”

Forbidden surrender (5 stars) + Secret surrender(3 stars) + Beautiful surrender (3 stars )= Surrender series (3.5 stars)

If I said this series was totally memorable in a special way or that this could Definatly be something more than just a one time read....then I would be lying...And well...

description

The plot felt a bit over done.

Reading the blurb...I know you'll probably be expecting another billionaire romance like the 50 shades,etc..but instead I found this book to be more along the side lines of an easy chic lite read with a hint of erotica and an added element of having a stalker.

About the Characters:

Well now that you mention it...Kristen....girl...

description

I mean, seriously there was times I wanted to axe that girl for her hard-headless...(Putting it politely.)
Andn Vincent ? He was an ok hero...not exactly an Alpha-male.If you get what I'm saying...He mostly just drifted through the series.*shrug*

Would I recommend it ?
Humm..Probably if your in the mood for a light one time read.

So I’m going to hide my thoughts in the spoiler link below –because the issue that I had with this story comes from a spoiler moment. I can honestly say that once I hit this part in the story, nothing else mattered. It was all I could see and remember of the story.

Now, beyond the explanation of why this happened in details that have to be hidden for being spoilers – I want to first say that I was disappointed in the turn of events. I was a little lost as to how a moment ended up in this book that ultimately dismantled any development of the characters. I mean, these two were crafted and molded into certain types of people... and drama injected into the story systematically reduced that all to nothing.

Beautiful Surrender is the third and final book in The Surrender Series by Priscilla West. For the most part I enjoyed this book but I did find that it was a bit predictable which caused me to skim just a tiny bit.

When Beautiful Surrender begins the first chapter gives you an insight of Kristen’s past relationship with Marty which was needed in order to absorb what happens next. When Kristen’s ex-boyfriend Marty shows up on her doorstep yet again, things get a bit crazy. Why you ask? Well that is because Marty is crazy. It is hard to say much because I don’t want to give too much away but the result of Marty’s visit puts Kristen and Victor’s relationship into a bit of a tailspin.

Kristen and Victor’s relationship has been a bit of a whirlwind for both of them. Without doubt these two have an amazing sexual connection but they things are starting to change on an emotional level for both of them. Reality sets in for both of them.

What happens between Kristen and Victor leaves them trying to figure out what is next for them. We see a different side of Victor and we watch Kristen become a bit stronger. There is no more getting whisked away to a tropical island. Things become very real for these two and they are both tested. The road gets a bit bumpy and emotions are pushed to the surface.

“I realized how much I loved his touch and being with him despite our problems. It was worth taking a chance. Vincent was worth taking a chance.”
 photo couple_zps11ce583b.jpg

The Surrender Series books are quick and sexy reads. Victor was divine. ღ A hot, tattooed surfer/billionaire, what’s not to love. Kristen was sweet and sexy and definitely changed throughout the series which I loved. So if you looking for a series that has some angst and sizzling sex scenes, and you don’t mind a bit of predictability, give this series a try.

3 Giving Into Surrender Stars
* * *Spoiler Free
This was the conclusion to the Surrender Series by Priscilla West. I started this journey due to a happenstance and was able to follow it all the way to the end over a few days.

This series used the tools of the trade for Alpha Billionaires.

We had:

Hot Alpha with Uber charm, body and money...it didn't hurt he earned it on his own as a surfing risk-taker.

Accomplished, intelligent woman capable of being independent with a painful romantic past.

Both come together due to a business proposal which allows them to interact, exposing them to the chemistry and attraction they have for one another.

Add in the taboo of dating and working together with a budding relationship...and both having complicated pasts...

All of these tools were used and worked with the added ingredient of hot, very hot sexual scenes... Did I mention these two really had some heat???

The ending gave confirmation to all of the plot lines which had been hinted of the course of the 3 books...None of them came as a surprise...it was only a matter of time when they would be revealed or acted upon.

My overall rating on this was 3 stars. It had moments which kept me interested. These series can be hard to maintain interest if there is a wait for each book. I was fortunate as all parts were available allowing me to read one right after the other.

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review

Publication Date:  November 4, 2013

This is the third and final book in the Surrender series and again we continue with the romance between Kristen and Vincent.

I have been anticipating the author sending me the book because the 2nd book ended in such a heart stopping cliffhanger, I just NEEDED to know what came next.

I enjoyed the book but and this is a big BUT.....I think the story was too short and the angst y action happened all at once and then it just sizzled down.  I also think Vincent gave in too easy to what Kristen wanted without putting up a fight and I also think there should have been more angst incorporated about the "text message" and in between Kristen/Vincent.

OK...so we ended with a big cliffhanger in Book #2 and Beautiful Surrender picks right back up along with giving the reader more detailed information regarding the past relationship between Marty and Kristen.

And, we get past the cliffhanger and everything is pretty "hunky-dory" but *WHAM* Kristen gets a wrench thrown in her future (I think we all know what that is).  Oh!!! and then Marty comes back with a vengeance and just makes Norman Bates look absolutely sane.  The only thing on his mind is a dead Vincent and a loving Kristen as his "rock".

PSYCHO!!!

If you have read the first two books....pick this one up to finish up the trilogy because all your questions get answered here....and if not....pick up all 3 books because all put together, this is a cute little romance with sizzling sex!!

For me Beautiful Surrender was the best novel in the series, it combined all elements of a good book for me, suspense, angst and romance.

In this one, Kristen is stalked by her ex boyfriend who is beyond nuts! Vincent wants to protect her at all costs, I loved him more in this book- He was better developed, seemed more human and his love and need to protect Kristen left no doubt as to his loyalty and dedication to her.

“I’ve felt this way for a while. I knew it was just attraction at first. But after taking you to my island, I realized it was more. So much more. I love you, Kristen.

Kristen in this installment is struggling with her ability to trust Vincent again. Kristen for me is one of the most enjoyable heroines, however in this book I thought she was a bit stubborn, unreasonable and at the same time naive.

What I loved about this series:
1- The pace was smooth, fast and did not resort to fillers just to stretch it out and make it longer.
2- Vincent
3- Vincent
4- The writing was amazing, no editing mistakes were spotted. I will definitely read more of Ms West's books in the future.
5- The steam factor, it was hot but did not overtake the whole book. I loved how Priscilla West did not write sex scene after sex scene but concentrated more on the story development.
6- How the issue of domestic abuse was addressed and the fact it wasn't glossed over.

What didn't work for me ;
1- I thought it would have been better if all three books were combined into one full length novel!
2- Ariel, did not feel that was resolved to my satisfaction but that could only be me!

The Series in order:
Book 1: Forbidden Surrender
Book 2: Secret Surrender
Book 3: Beautiful Surrender

If you want a fast, well written read that is not high on angst, this series is for you! I would recommend it definitely.

Thank you NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I could have enjoyed this but everything just went dull and flat for me. Don't get me wrong, I like the characters but the story completely messed it up. I feel like the conflicts were left out. To solve the conflict everything went fast and get it done...with just a snap of the finger. Done. Ta.da. Happy Ever After. The end.

That's not how is it supposed to be. It could have been better.. gaah I'm so frustrated. :(

***I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book through Netgalley.com in exchange for honest feedback.***

The third book in the series, this book concludes the story of Kristen and Vincent. Discovering that she's pregnant, Kristen spends a lot of time evaluating her relationship with Vincent and what exactly he wants from her. When she discovers deception on his part, it makes her question his motives and lose trust in him. His rash behavior when her abusive ex makes a reappearance, only leaves her more confused.

Like earlier books in the series, this one continues in the same predictable, straight-forward manner. I knew exactly how it would work out from the moment I read the first page. No surprises here, but it was a sweet and uncomplicated read.

This is a good, sweet story that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. It was a nice way to pass a few hours and/or recover from a more intense story. It gives you a HEA and closure, which is harder and harder to come by. I liked it, but didn't love it.

This was the conclusion to Vincent and Kristen story.
I must say I really enjoyed their conection, their path to becoming together.
This book, unlike the first two, has a bit more "action"... and their relationship is well-marked.

I think this series would fit perfectly in one book only, because the story happens really fast... days become weeks... and with three books, I've missed the "connection" between one and the next, making maybe, the story a bit "empty" on details.

Said this...

I enjoyed a lot this "quick" read, and I'll try definitely another book from this author! =)

4 stars!

Definitely the best in the series. I liked the fact that we also get an insight into Kristen and Vincent's past. Vincent was a revelation in this book. He finally admitted his need for Kristen and he really went out of his way to prove it to her.

Overall, a good story albeit a little predictable, I still give this one 4 stars because of Vincent. I'm glad that the author provided us with his POV here. It wasn't much but as I have said, it provided insight into how Vincent's mind works, the reason for his drive and why he was over-protective with Kristen. :)

First Thoughts

Wow, wow, wow! These books were smokin' hot! I couldn't get enough! I read all three books back to back until late last night. When my boss asked me why I looked so tired today, I giggled and thought of Vincent Sorenson.

What I Enjoyed

Shaking my head at Kristen's stupidity. This is going to sound completely petty, but I loved hating Kristen in Beautiful Surrender. Number one, why the heck wouldn't you slam the door in your crazy ex-boyfriend, Marty's, face? Why listen to him spin some sob story about how he's changed and will never hurt you again? Number two, why get mad when Vincent beats up said ex. Are you the only one who is naive enough to believe Marty's lies? Number three, if you know crazy Marty is loose and dangerous, why invite Vincent to your apartment and stupidly leave the front door open long enough for Marty to sneak in with a gun? Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Vincent's reaction to Kristen's pregnancy. Aw, he cried tears of joy because he had always wanted a baby! My heart sang with happiness when he proposed that they raise the baby together even after knowing each other for just a few months.

This was the best book of the series and finally we saw some real suspense, some gritty action. I had a much better sense of both characters in this book though I have to say that I warmed to Vincent much more than Kristen.

Kristen flies off the handle with Vincent when she discovers what he's done. I didn't understand her reaction and it wasn't natural in my view, all he was doing was trying to protect her and she freaked-out.

Marty is a very disturbed boy and the scenes at the end were explosive.

Now that I've read all three books I'm feeling a little frustrated because I think this series could be really great with a little bit more fleshing out and stronger plot development. For me, this story lacked originality: Everything that happens is predictable and apart from the romance there isn't much else happening. Even the sub-plot centering around Marty could have been woven more intricately throughout the story so that he really felt like a threat. He only felt like that at the very end. I think there was a missed plot opportunity with Richard, and excepting Gizelle and her family, none of the side characters added any value to the plot. They should have been expanded on or removed.

Though this might sound like a contradiction, I did still enjoy reading this series, but I was frustrated at the wasted potential because Priscilla West is clearly a talented writer and I admire her writing style. I am definitely going to check out some of her other books.

With stronger structural/developmental editing this series could be so much better. I also think that this would work better as one larger book. While I know it's trendy to serialise in shorter segments, I just didn't feel like it worked here.

" Beautiful Surrender" , is the third and final in Vincent and Kristen story , and the one with the most cation!
The author picks up were she left off with Kristin having realized her insecurities when it comes to Vincent, her concerns that she will never be enough for him and running from him, only to wind up confronted at her own apartment by her crazy ex boyfriend ; and as they say the sh_t hits the fan!
Luckily for Kristen , Vincent is not one to give up on the women he loves .
By this book you can seediest how much Vincent has grown , actually he has been the more mature person through the whole series, but for Kristen it takes almost the worst to happen for her to drop her insecurities and see what she has.

II was happy with the ending, though as I said before I did find Kristen annoyed me at times but Vincent more than makes up for it!
Looking foward threading more from this author!

hmmm, this is a hard book to review.

The final installment of the series goes out with a bang. Literally.

In the last book, Kristen left Vincent because per her usual she was jumping to conclusions about Vincent. Only when she goes home her past is waiting for her. I don't think I can say much more without spoiling.

This one really had the potential to be good, really really. But gah, again Kristen was so infuriating. I Mean there is a huge show down at the end and she just sort of runs around saying stop, don't...yadda yadda, and the whole time she had something she had stashed away in her closet to stop it all, but it was NEVER mentioned. Then it all just ended. I mean all of that and it was just over, then an epilogue that left me actually wanting more.

Like I said in my last review, I know behind the book their is an author with feelings that put hard work into writing the book, and I in no way want to write a bad review. I'll also repeat that I like to look at as if Kristen were a real person, I just wouldn't want ANYTHING to do with her. And she's what made the boo unlikeable for me. I'll also repeat, I think Vincent was too good for her and I in no way, see what he saw in her.

3.0 I wanted more, but it never really worked out STARS

Kristen and Vincent have to confront their biggest fear... Marty. Marty is Kristen's ex and he will not take no for an answer. Now he has them cornered and they must overcome this as well the secret that Kristen has been keeping from Vincent. Will their love be enough? Or is it all too soon?
This is a short read, and it is the conclusion to Kristen and Vincent's story. Kristen's history with Marty is the key part of this novella and her relationship is tested on several occasions. She meets his family, and finds out a lot about his past from his sister, Giselle.
Also we get to learn more about what Vincent is thinking as several scenes include just him and his POV.
Overall, I enjoy Priscilla West's writing style, but I admit, this book did not give me what I was hoping for. I felt like it had so much potential but it never truly "arrived" at that potential. It felt a little rushed and it didnt feel as though the entire story line truly played out. OOO, and what I am guessing was suppose to be really climatic, felt flat and cliche.
I will read Priscilla West again, and look forward to reading Wrecked.

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review, so here it is. I love this story with Kristen and Vincent. While She is falling more in love with him, her ex-boyfriend Marty shows up and trying to cause trouble. With Vincent always at work, Kristen begins to think that their relationship will never work. This story has lots of steamy sex, lust, separation anxiety, love and Vincent's 3 year old nephew's birthday party. Kristen gets to see how he is around kids and he loves them. I had to read the first two Forbidden Surrender and Secret Surrender to know what was happening with this one. And a almost perfect ending. I wish there would have been a few more chapters to get a better idea of the future(no I won't go into details, don't want to spoil it for anyone). A great series by Priscilla West. I'm not sure what my deal is lately. My brain doesn't want to overthink anything, so I've been feeding my brain what it really truly wants.... I guess that's some mindless smut to cure me having a case of the scatterbrain. Who wants to concentrate when you can dream? Who wants to shut off the world when you can combine both powers that be? (if only I have a secret club ring....)

And that my dear friends is how you end the story of two crazy kids in love/lust.

This picks up where we left off in book two. Kristen running home after learning a horrible secret about Vincent that destroyed her life. Crying her eyes out and a knock comes to the door. Thinking it's Vincent, she opens the door and it's that psycho except of hers Marty.

He found her after all this time. After a scary end to their relationship, she picked up her life and found something that she was passionate about. And now he's back and she is terrified.

Vincent knows that he has made some mistakes in his life, but he's a changed man for the better since hes been with Kristen. Sometimes things are taken out of context. He might be falling in love and needs to express his feelings.

Them Vincent and the Ex Marty meet and things can only get disastrous from there. We are in for in hell of a slinging end.

This entire book has left me completely speechless. Who the hell seen this book leading up to that ending. Well, before the epilogue. The epilogue we all seem from miles away and in the mist. That last chapter had my eyes so wide that I wasn't sure if I could ever blink again.

This was something different that I thought I would try and glad I did. She is one hell of an author and authors only grow with each book. So I am over the moon excited to read her other books.

His expression was unreadable. "Give me your feet. I want to show you something."
"What for?"
"Trust me."
Sensing he didn't intend for us to have sex, I gingerly scooched my legs back and offered him the foot with the remaining shoe. He gently removed it and inserted my feet into his loafers.

I felt the lingering warmth of his feet on my own. In looked down and was fascinated by the maleness of the shoe. The texture was smooth and glossy but the slight crease near the toes and various small nicks gave it a rough, unrefined edge. The shape narrowing sharply at the toes seemed to point forward like a general points his hand to rally an army's charge. I imagined Vincent wearing these in a variety of scenarios: walking to high-powered meetings, standing in front of a podium giving a company-wide speech, bending down to pick up a quarter. My drab flats looked feminine and dainty in comparison.

"Now close your eyes for a moment."
I did as he asked, expecting further instructions. After an awkard minute of not receiving any, I opened my eyes.
Vincent looked at me, "Well?"
"Well what?"
"What do you feel?"
I wiggled my toes again. "Umm...a soft insole? I don't know. What am I supposed to feel?"

"You're supposed to feel the muscles in your legs tensing, blood cursing between them, your XXXX is getting hard like steel."

"Um, what?"

"You experience an intense attraction to Kristen. You were thinking about product strategy before but now your thoughts are turning dirty. You can't think straight. All you can think about is when you are going to see Kristen again. And if anyone hurts her, there will be hell to pay. Then you realize she's what you want. All you've ever wanted."

Yes readers this book has it all!!
Vincent - super hot sexy CEO, Surfer, Chef, Humble and can give the big "O" to Kristen.
Then comes the makings of a fantastic read...Trust(more like mistrust), Ex-Boyfriends, Ex-Girlfriends, Family, Travel, Bodyguards, and not enough Time.

I not only fell head over heals for the main characters Vincent and Kristen, but the story is amazing! This is the third book in the Surrender Series and very much worth the read! It is a page turner from the start. I loved how we finally got the complete background on how Kristen got to where she was now. Then, we were able to fully understand her reasons for making the decisions she made up to that point. The author has done a fantastic job with running my emotions through the ups and downs of a new relationship between two very hot successful professionals!

Hot…hot…hot…get your fan out and sit back for some wicked sexy fun. Vincent is sexy as hell and will have you squirming in your seat. He gets ten stars.

“Beautiful Surrender” is the third book in the “Surrender Series” by Priscilla West. I read all three books in a day and a half. They are short reads and could have easily been combined into one book. Regardless, I enjoyed all three of them.

Once again we follow Vincent and Kristen’s journey as they navigate their relationship and try to overcome the obstacles life throws at them. Their characters are well written. They both have issues, secrets, past hurts and flaws. This makes them real. They aren’t perfect; their relationship isn’t perfect, and that makes the book almost perfect, as far as character development is concerned.

The plot is good and well thought out. Everything was pulled together and all the loose ends were tied up nicely. The pacing is good throughout. It was somewhat predictable, but still kept my attention and I enjoyed it nevertheless. The subplot concerning Kristen’s past plays a huge part in this book and we learn a lot about her issues and how far Vincent will go to protect her.
Once again, there were editing issues. I think this installment had the most issues. And as much as I enjoyed the book, the errors would pull me out of the story. Another editing pass would have done wonders for the book because everything else was excellent.

Bottom line: I enjoyed this book a lot. I definitely recommend it, but you need to read the trilogy in order. These books aren’t the type you can read out of order. I think the three books could have easily been combined into a standalone considering how short they were. Nevertheless, it was a great trilogy and I’ll definitely read more from Priscilla West in the future.

For the Conclusion to this series I give it 3.5 stars. This one though is my favorite of the series. So much happened. There is a lot more of Marty in this book and I actually at a point really felt sorry for him but I’ll get to that later. Kristen has a few hurdles to get over. And we also get a few chapters told in Vincent’s POV which I loved.

So there’s Marty…He and Kristen dated in college and in the beginning he was super sweet to her until things turned. The reason I feel so bad for him is because he’s had a ruff life and a horrible upbringing. He just wants to love and be loved, since he was raised without it. That doesn’t mean I can look past what he did or that I condone what he did either. But I can understand that he’s sick and why, and also know that he need’s help.

Vincent, was adorable playing with his nephew! Who doesn’t love a man that will build blanket tents (tunnels) and play with trains with out regret? I enjoyed the added bonus of getting into his head for a few chapters too, and found his love for his sister endearing.

Kristen still had hurdles to jump but she finds her way through them. Although at some points I found myself shaking my kindle and shouting get over it at her a few times.

This series was good, there wasn’t anything memorable to it, but it was a very nice break from books that are a little more in depth.

A note to the author, I think more people would be inclined to read/buy this series if it was condensed to one book and the story line was elaborated on a little bit more.

Overall this was the best book in the series, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a fairytale, erotic, romance novel.

I am reviewing all three books as a whole. Well, not really because I don’t like to leave bad reviews. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. So, I’ll keep it short and as sweet as I can. These three books just weren’t for me. I don’t know if it is because I am over the theme or what. Well, I think it was more of the “what” then the theme with these books. I still enjoy the billionaire story every now and then if it is fresh and new. I thought this one was going to be like that. I enjoyed the first one, liked the set up and where it was going but then I completely lost interest in the next two. The characters changed and it annoyed me. I never really got the connection between these two. I could see the build in the first book but then everything seemed to change. What I first thought was going to be a strong Alpha and a driven intelligent female ended up the opposite of that. What happened in book three really didn’t work for me and made me not like either character. It was the opposite of how I saw all this playing out. I appreciate the opportunity to get the chance to read and review these three books but they just didn’t work for me but they absolutely may be perfect for you.

This is the last installment in this trilogy.

Kristen decided to let Vincent into her heart and then finds some evidence that he is really not who she thought he was. Then the man she has been hiding from shows up at her door step trying to beg her for forgiveness and a second chance. What is Kristen to do?

Let me say that the confusion of the cliff hanger of the second books gets cleared up pretty quickly. Kristen still gets on my nerves in this book but I really did like this book more then the second. I think adding the ex into the mix added some more action into the story. However I had to ding major points off for the big surprise, which was no surprise and I think was not needed in any way. In fact it kind of erks me when authors add this surprise. Anyway even with these two items I still liked the story and Vincent saved it for me, however the whole begging side of Vincent for Kristen didn't really fit my picture of him and I wanted him to stand up to Kristen. Anyway, was a quick and entertaining read even if frustrating at the predictiveness and characters.
