In book four of the Galactic Cage They call her—Zara the Amazon. She has been a fighter from birth, a fighter growing up, and a fighter with a life's mission, so it made sense for her to fight for a living. The Galactic Cage Fighter Association is the ideal venue. She is paid to do something she enjoys, which is fighting and kicking ass. At the same time, it takes her all over the different regions where she can continue her search for the prize possession that had been taken from her years ago.
Special Agent Trig Roberts agrees to help the female fighter with her search. It is part of his job and he is the best at what he does. He travels with the GCFA while doing his investigation and finds himself frustrated when the beautiful leggy woman wants to be an active participant. He normally doesn’t allow the inexperienced to get involved, but he has a hard time turning her down. As they spend more time together, he realizes there is more to the woman than she allows the world to see. He finds himself not only wanting to know more—but everything.
As Trig and Zara proceed with their investigation, they uncover an illegal activity that could blow the roof off the governments. There are dangerous people who want to keep things under wrap and are willing to take the drastic measures to ensure their dirty secrets—stay secrets.
Will Trig and Zara find what they are looking for? How long will they continue to fight their growing attraction for one another? And when all is said and done, will they survive the dangers thrown their way?

Having read all the previous installments in this series I have been anxiously anticipating this specific book (luckily I'm late to discover the series so I didn't have to wait to read it). Zara has been the uber biatch from hell who despises Earthers. Sure she tolerates them and maybe has developed a respectful kinship with Rachel but overall she has no real friends except for a select few core group in the GCFA. Time to watch the amazon woman fall.
I'm on the fence over the success of this installment. Sure. I loved the relationship dynamics and way the tables were turned. Yet. Zara didn't shine in this book. I was looking forward to seeing the inner side of her that would make sense of how she became the way she was. Oh, there is a good back story to give the reader the knowledge of 'why' but it didn't really go deep enough to work. many people have bad things happen to them which manifests their present behavior to be what it is. I just didn't buy THE reason provided for Zara.....
I once again have issues with the adult content/erotic romance elements. I do believe it would have been better if the author would have not included any sort of adult content as the individual scenes feel more like teasers than a scene that bonds two individuals who express their love for each other in a physical manner. I got more of a feel that the two MC were mates through their PDA than their actions behind closed doors.
I liked this installment that featured a strong female lead character finding the one man who would challenge her as an equal as even the strongest of women need the support of a stronger man who can see what she needs and be there to provide it. I'm just disappointed that this wasn't as good as it should have been to do justice to Zara herself.
Wow another fantastic story! Trig, a human male who meets Zara through his work partner Rachel. He falls for Zara big time and it takes him awhile to understand his feelings for her. Zara, a strong, moody cage fighter who takes one look at Trig and knows shes a gonna. They are both stubborn and have to work hard to process the feelings they have for each other. Trig helps Zara find her daughter and then have to decide where they fit into each others lives. Trig and Zara realise that there just isn't anyone better for them than the other. This was a really lovely story. Well worth the read! Looking forward to Hammer's story!!!
I actually really like this series a lot. The grammatical errors in the first three books were not very bad. The grammatical errors however in this book were terrible. I don't normally take stars away for something like that. This book however I couldn't help it. It just had to be done. The story is great but the grammatic errors in it and the misspellings. It wasn't just words missing it was wrong words, bad sentences, etc.
This is Sara and Trigs story and it was wonderful to read how Zara falls for a human. Not sure why Torch was brought in but it did prompt Trig to make his move. I like how these fighters are becoming a family. Quite a change from the first book. I've really enjoyed these books.
Really enjoyed this. It was fantastic to see the softer side of Zara and she still remained tough and fierce. I was on the fence about her character before but after reading this I love her. Trig is her perfect counterbalance. Such a sweet story.
