101 Dead Cops
John Moore is a hitman that has big plans; he’s always wanted to go out battling cops, a lot of cops. He built his house with the final battle in mind, surrounded by mines and other surprises. He wants to kill a hundred cops and then have law enforcement kill him, wants to be infamous, but life has thrown him a curve ball that he can’t hit. John discovers that he has an inoperable brain tumor.
Aineki is psychic, talks to the dead and has known since she was young that she’s destined to have one very special baby, but she has to find the right fellow to impregnate her. When John takes a bit of a vacation in Hawaii he meets Aineki, who believes that he’s the one and has no choice but to pursue John. But evil spirits have no intention of letting this baby come into the world.

The hitman has never been in love in his life and so he’s confused, frightened and more than a little irritated by his new state of mind. At this point in his life he really has no time for it but fate plays its cards whenever it wants to play them.
The assassin is a talented killer, in fact it’s what he does best, whether it’s building a robot gun to kill from miles away or looking through a scope before his target’s head explodes. A Glock to John is like a bag of candy to a child, so very precious. A gun is the greatest thing on the planet and he has a better relationship with his weapons than he does with most people.
This hitman is out to kill a hundred and one cops BUT-- A trip to Hawaii is where he encounters Aineki, a woman who claims to be able to talk to the dead and for whatever reason she’s determined to pursue him. John is immediately fascinated by her. She is forward and bold and as cute as they come. A woman that’s definitely not afraid to go after what she wants, so much so that he thinks she might be up to something sinister. Why would such a beautiful woman be interested in a troll like him? He’s certain that she must have an ulterior motive but he can’t figure it. It’s a puzzle with so many distorted pieces that he can’t guess at it and maybe it’s what fascinates him about her.

Loved this I want more of this book I love a great murder mystery with some genuine funniness
