Simply gorgeous.

The feelings that POUR thru the pages are raw and real and heart squeezing.
The images these words evoke are simply gorgeous.
And, while I have never experienced some of the situations written about I could FEEL EVERYTHING as if I had.

Highly recommend

DESIDERIUM by Alexandria Lee A collection of Love Sick Poems
Beautiful poetic words spoken directly from Ms. Lee's heart. Heartfelt and full of both angst and hope. I truly felt the authors soul in her words. A pleasure to read.

When I heard Alexandria was branching into poetry I was surprised to say the least, but as always she exceeded all my expectations. This collection was so beautifully written and raw. I loved it ❤️

There is a power and a beauty in words collectively at work on a page, and Alexandria Lee’s words are a poetic display of just this. If you’ve not taken a moment to indulge in her words, to allow them to work and flow through you, weaving displays of beauty and pain, of ardent desire and a gruelling loss, then this is an experience I strongly encourage. The raw manner with which these poems are crafted pierced deep with just a couple of words and painted a stunning portrait of emotion, and damn I have missed it!

Whether it’s in writing poetry or prose, there is no denying the talent that has been mastered and the skills at work here. Lee has delved deep into a vulnerability and loss that makes emotion of every facet sing in this collection of poetic musings captured from heart to paper, and whether this is your first dabble in poetry or you’re a seasoned fan; Lee delivers by the bucketful for all.

I always knew Alexandria Lee had a poetic heart, but seeing it written out on page like this was beyond beautiful. This was a great collection. Each poem has a similar vibe across them all, telling a story of their own. But what I loved the most is that I didn't find all these poems relatable. Some I related to so strongly it was almost devastating. And the ones I couldn't relate to, they were still as emotionally evocative as the others. Just beautiful.

Alexandria Lee proves that even with poetry she can write with such raw emotion, vulnerability, and elicit emotions within yourself. Even without characters you can connect in a way that only she can draw out. Highly recommend reading her other books as some of these poems are derived from her books, you just know which book/character the poem is for.

When I opened to the dedication page, I already had tears in my eyes.

Poetry about two people who love each other, but know the timing isn’t quite right. It was beautiful, it was raw, it was heartbreaking, but it was also so well done.

I'm not a big fan of poetry but this has definitely changed my mind. Ate this up in one sitting, you've done it again Alexandria

AHH!?! This was phenomenal to read. I have read other books that have poetry in them, but this one was fantastic. Well, @author_alexandrialee, you have done it again; you have made me cry while reading poetry (that is very hard to do, but you have successfully done it). Just reading all of the delectable poems was like having a mini story playing out in my head. I can’t wait to see where your author journey takes you. All opinions are my own
