Five stars for this one...and that doesn’t happen often. This a perfectly balanced work of romantic fiction. So often the author gets bogged down in the fantasy, and although this piece starts with the tried and true ancient amulet and mysterious prophecy, the author has used it to create tension and menace for her main characters instead. This is a love story between the fairy, Ailyn and the mortal, Quinlan, which builds until it sizzles. Well paced, with just enough evil doings and fairy flicker to keep our lovers in peril, just enough sensual teasing to keep us waiting for it...and then good prevails over evil, and although they must make painful sacrifices...a happy ending.
A beautifully written romantic tale and charming read...Good job!

Good story

My daughter calls me a grammar nazi. It certainly intrudes on my ability to enjoy a story when there are so many grammatical errors. Anyone with the ability to express themselves through writing should have learned the basics. The differences between to, too, and two are essential. Names misspelled, you created these names or named your characters, please remember how you initially spelled them. What about editors, come on people. Are you paid to let these things get by? Suffice it to say the story was nice, but could have been so much more enjoyable.

Once again Amber Scott has out done herself in this powerful Fae suspense filled and action packed love story. I couldn't put this book down for a second. Ailyn and Quinlan make a remarkable couple as only Ms. Scott can built their characters up to new heights. I am looking forward for more of this series and to the new series that will include Daniel's story. Great writing and so powerful. :)

Not enchanted but semi-enjoyable read. Took me a while to get into the brogue. This tale was exhausting! Quinlan and Ailyn wore me out! There was so much going on, almost too much. I was mired down in all the details of the story and at times couldn't enjoy it. It almost felt like work! Took me a full month to read!!

Not sure about it. I normally like Amber Scott's books, but it wasn't a hit for me. I think that maybe I am in a funk because a lot of the reviews I read were glowing!
