This book was fascinating. Although I've obviously heard of CERN and the ATLAS Experiment, I really didn't understand any of the details. This book is written for children, so it's simple to understand but in no way is it condescending or patronizing. Using pop up models, pictures, and interactive examples, the authors explain basic principles of physics and the technology used at CERN to detect and study matter of all kinds. Great book!

Worth the wait to get it. A fun book for the scientist in all of us.
