This slow and gentle series has finally lost momentum for me. The quality of the series is totally consistent -- it hasn't taken a downturn -- but the deliberate pacing and low-key parade of cliches (Halloween costumes, New Year's shrine visit, kabedon, horoscopes, stargazing, kitten love) is no longer enough for me. And I'm just over a third of the way through the existing volumes with no end in sight presently.

I might come back after taking a break or if I hear the final volume has been released so I can better set my expectation of plot progress in a story certain to have no real surprises on the road to a happily ever after.

This volume was fantastic, probably my favorite so far. As always, the art is amazing and the cuteness is off the charts. The little stories are sweet and the characters are very appealing. If only there was more content, buying this would be a no-brainer. As it is, this remains a series to watch.

COMMENTO PERSONALE: Questi due personaggi sono la mia condanna a morte e al tempo stesso la mia delizia. Vi prego di portare l’autrice in Italia perché devo assolutamente conoscere il suo genio e farle i complimenti in prima persona. Ma talvolta mi verrebbe anche da strozzarla per l’attesa di un bacio agognato e sperato tra i due! Ma oserei dire di andare con ordine. La grafica continua a essere realistica e dolce e mentre si legge la loro storia sembra proprio di poter stare accanto a loro e sostituirci completamente al posto loro. La mia parte preferita di questo volume oserei dire che sia stata la parte centrale ma nuovamente diciamo di andare step by step. Come si evince dalla trama il tutto comincia a una festa o meglio, nella preparazione della festa di Halloween dove viene indetta una sfida al migliore costume aziendale e i due piccioncini si ritrovano accanto e finalmente oserei dire che non sono portati a esplodere. Detto questo la mia parte preferita è stata la comparsa della sorella di Himuro che decide di fare un sondaggio sulle preferenze delle persone e ho adorato la giornata che hanno passato assieme. I due sono sempre più vicini ma ancora niente. Lui è sempre restio a farsi avanti ma per me un passo avanti c’è stato. Io continuo a shipparli e non vedo l’ora di leggere il quinto volume sperando in un bacio

Ed eccomi giunta al termine di questa narrazione. Sono qua al PC anche se tra poco devo cambiarmi e andare fuori casa (non che il tempo mi ispiri propriamente ma dettagli dai). State pronti perché vi devo parlare come avete letto di un sacco di cose e il tempo stringe.

Tra una gara di cosplay organizzata dall'azienda, bevande di starbeck (il nome mi fa ridere ahahah), shopping con Yukimin, visite al tempio, avvistamenti di meteore e gatti randagi non randagi; i nostri protagonisti si avvicinano sempre più e per quanto possibile il livello di cuteness continua a salire. Fuyutsuki inizia ad associare i suoi sentimenti per Himuro a qualcosa di romantico

Il fatto che siano episodi di vita staccati tra loro, ma con un senso logico ovviamente, non disturba; anzi per questo manga è veramente perfetto. Non riuscirei ad immaginarlo come una storia continua tipo (e ormai li metto sempre a paragone scusate) Ma che sfacciato di cui amo la storia alla follia.
I disegni di Ice guy & Cool girl però...IMBATTIBILI.

Ammetto che però sto diventando molto più curiosa di sapere come andrà tra Komori e Saejima rispetto ai protagonisti (scena tempio).

Best scena ever: KABEDON, parola giapponese che può avere molteplici interpretazioni, ma spesso nei manga sta a indicare quando una donna/un uomo viene "incastrato" tra il muro (kabe) e l'altra persona con una mano che sbatte sul muro (suono don) per attirare l'attenzione diciamo. Fuyutsuki che lo fa con Himuro per spiegargli cosa sia...SPETTACOLARE ahahah.

4 stelle solo perchè la storia non mi coinvolge come fanno altri manga, altrimenti perfetto.

Daje con una bella botta di serotonina 😍
Io non so una fan di opera dalla struttura "episodica", però questo manga rappresenta un'eccezione. Se non altro perché regala un sacco di tenerezza e zero angst gratuita. Himuro rimane il mio personaggio preferito: in quanto discendente di una donna delle nevi, sarebbe lecito aspettarsi una persona fredda e molto distaccata. In realtà, Himuro è un pezzo di pane, si emoziona per i gattini, per i fiori e per la sua adorata Fuyutsuki. Non è poi così difficile interpretare i suoi sentimenti, tra minitormente che si scatenano quando si fa prendere dall'emozione, carinissimi pupazzetti di neve quali segno di felicità e congelamenti improvvisi nei momenti di maggiore nervosismo...insomma, è un libro aperto! E direi che, dal punto di vista romance, iniziano a registrarsi dei timidi passi avanti. Bisogna solo capire quanto ci metterà Fuyutsuki a capire la vera natura dei sentimenti che prova. Himuro dovrà essere molto paziente per la strada è ancora lunga.
Comunque sia, shippo tutti con tutti. E spero di vedere passi in avanti anche tra Komori e Saejima!

I continue to love this series so so so much!!

It's been an extremely stressful week and I had high hopes that this volume would help brighten my day, and it did by SO much! Goodness, I felt all the tension melt away as I giggled over all the happy things unfolding in these two lives!

While they still aren't dating yet, I am loving how they are steadily becoming closer to one another and that Fuyutsuki is seeing Himuro in a different way than just a colleague. Hehe! The Halloween Costume Contest was a great example of that and thought they looked SO dashing as a team!!

I also super enjoyed seeing Himuro, his sister, and Fuyutsuki hang out together! The jealous flurries made me laugh and laughed even more when Fuyutsuki totally misunderstood the situation! LOL!

Such great times and that certainly only continued! Very much continue to enjoy this series and eagerly look forward to the next volume because I certainly read this one too fast and NEED more! LOL!

Just a few things to say...

-Himuro braves the long line at Starbeck's (not a typo) just to get all the new frozen drinks his would-be lady love, Fuyutsuki is dying to try.
*Bonus: he keeps them cold using his snow spirit powers!
-Fuyutsuki wins Himuro and his sister George the Cat toys from a crane machine.
*The way that man cradles the stuffy saying "I'll treasure this plushie for the rest of my life".
-Watching those two reenacting the wall slam romance manga trope had me feeling some type-a way 😏, much like Himuro himself.
-The hand squeeze while he's icing over the gloves!
-The closing wish: that in fifty years, he wants to be right here, watching the meteor shower with Fuyutsuki... playing the long game, I see you!
*Too bad/still cute that he's so busy staring at Fuyutsuki that he missed the shooting star.

I'm starting to love these slice of life manga. Both high and low angst. Been needing this lately.
