Look! Another keel short story by me, Barry Loser, the best book-writer in the whole wide world amen! This one is about my mum and her tea towel. And there's also a bit about a giant robot octopus. Praise for my other book, I am not a Loser, which is about 8 million times longer than this ‘Brilliant’ – My mum ‘Amazing’ – Also my mum
After graduating with a first class degree in advertising, graphic design and illustration in 1997, Jim Smith was spotted by the owner of a small coffee shop chain and brought in to fill the walls of their flagship store with his paintings.
It was a three month contract; seventeen years later, Jim is head of design at Puccino's Worldwide Ltd, now an international coffee shop franchise with stores in the UK, Europe and Egypt.
In the meantime he's illustrated kids' food packaging for M&S, drawn cartoons on the sides of PJ smoothies, created in-store graphics for Orange phone stores, designed book covers and branded a New York based Iced Tea company.
In 2010, Jim launched the hugely successful Waldo Pancake range of stationery and gift products, now sold in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Europe and the US.
'I am not a Loser' by Barry Loser, the first of a series of children's books 'spellchecked' by Jim, was published in 2012, having already sold rights to nine countries. The sequel, 'I am Still Not a Loser' was the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2013 and declared the funniest book for children aged seven to fourteen.
Jim has now written six Barry Loser books, and numerous short stories. 'Future Ratboy', a spin-off series of books based on Barry's favourite TV star, debuts in July 2015.
it was useless I was disgusted that a publisher would publish such poopoo instead of all the good books that would be top of someones booklist I do not recommend I felt like drinking fronkle and VOMITING on this ....thing... someone decided uselessly to write.Though maybe someone younger than me would like it that way its an ok kids book.
I think it was good also funny thank you for being a good writers for those out there
I choose a good rating because it is the best book I have read I like the part when he started laughing when it really wasn't funny I dislike the fact that the character said "I HATE YOUUUUU!!!"For a remote to watch tv like it's not going to kill you like c'mon man seriously I would like to recommend this book to my little sister makenna THANK YOU FOR THE TIME OF WRITING THIS BOOK
Hoooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrbbbbbbbbbbbbllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I don't like it fjdjdjdjeejjeddijdjdhfhfh that means never ever read it nodjdjddkeejejrjjr djdjejwieje dhehdnekabskdnsjdsjsjd djdjjdjdndnwjwqosjxnc shdjdidjdjdhfbc. Djdjdkdkwbejdkf dnekelwkndnw bye
I grabbed this book because it was a freebie on Amazon. I read it quickly, since it was short. It was about an awful behaving child who was acting up, and the only part that I really liked about the book was that the mother didn't give in to the bad behavior. The illustrations are ok, and some of the descriptions were definitely written for pre-teen boys. It definitely isn't a book I will read again.
I read this book because it looked good and it appeared every where so I got it only to find that this was almost that this was shorter than a baby book and I was very disappointed it was Kent to be twice as better than diary of a wimpy kid not a million times worse my protest is that it needs to be longer not only 4 short chapters long other wise it was better if you write a book make it long and have a meaning and a moral to teach people if there was a moral that I could not see make it noticeable
I think this book is good and it is quite funny and I love the idea when you write what the word mean if you didn't know like when it said funeral which is a celebration of your life although it is sad when you die but it is to celebrate a good life that you have so to add that all up this is a great story and everyone should read it.
I would recommendation this book to a child learning to read because it is very easy to read. I chose this review because it was a bit too short for my liking but it was a good story.
Is easy to read, easy to understand and immensely funny. I want to read it to my Goddaughter over and over and over again. I think it's really clever and maybe, adult might enjoy it more than kids.
I thought this book would be longer I was really into it until it ended quite disappointed I would like it to be longer and more long books like this for free please
Short story that is good for child but should be a little longer as I wanted and many others may want to know more but over all this book was very keel😂
