This was a slow starter for me. First of all, from the very beginning and I do mean page 1, there were multiple editing errors, i.e., grammatical and spelling as well as missing words from sentences. I don't think there was a contraction used in this book and for me, that just renders the read stiff and unrealistic as far as the dialogue goes.

Another major problem was the duplicity in the dual POVs every other chapter. When an author uses the exact language verbatim within each POV change (except for a few minor gender changes), it is simply a waste of good reading time and leads to a very bored reader who skims through half the book.

"Incurable Hearts" is definitely a bitter sweet and gut wrenching love story that will certainly play havoc with one's emotions. There were some memorable moments that will stand out in my mind. The author did an admirable job in presenting a sad and tragic story. I was humbled and suffered right along with the characters as they dealt with the pain and agony facing their relationship, along with all the other mixed feelings throughout the storyline dealing with family trials and tribulations.

This is definitely a book that has great potential for being an unforgettable read. I just wish the packaging would have served the possibilities a little better. It just didn't quite make the grade with me.

This an emotional story and that is clear from page one where we know that the main character is going to die of a brain tumor.
The book only came to life for me in those last few chapters where this is happening. Then the pace was about right. The 2 stars are for that part.

Let me explain what I found wrong about this book.
A writer has to paint a story for the reader to enjoy and his paint consists of language. The language here is just terrible; words consistently misspelled, words missing from sentences, constantly mixing past and present tense in the same sentence, adjectives used as nouns. I could go on. There isn't nearly a sentence without some sort of error in it. Furthermore, the story is told in two alternate POV's from her and from him but his POV is for about 90% an exact replica of what went on before in her POV. Literally! Add to that that the characters come to life for me at about 70% of the book and you understand where my score for this book comes from.

Wow! Amazing story! I started reading this book Sunday and finished it Monday, I could not put it down....I laughed, I cried, I have not read a book in a while that really stirred the emotions like that. Very modern and up to date...I really liked the way the chapters are set out with 2 points of view too; I personally haven’t seen that before. I will definitely be on the lookout for more books by this author.

Well holy hell that ending left me gutted and crying like an uncontrollable baby. Damn you female hormones!

Had it not been for all the grammatical errors, I would have given it 5 shiny stars. I love emotional packed books. The kind of books that make me want to chuck my Kindle always place high on my book shelves.

I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book.

Tearjerker is kind of a mild word to use for this book. I would say more like, have a brand-new box of tissues ready because this book does not really have a happy ending. It does in the journey and the self-discovery that Jasmine and Christopher went through, but you pretty much know how it's going to end in the first chapter. I don't even count it as a spoiler because it's not a surprise. It's kind of like reading Marley And Me...you know what's coming at the end. I wish I had read this book two weekends ago when my dog Simon died because this would have been the PERFECT outlet to get it all out. I think I started misting up at about 50% and was full out crying by 70%. It's really, REALLY good. The editing sucks....bad. The dual POV thing was just a little TOO annoying...especially when the dialogue didn't match. But the story is so good and so full of love and passion and emotion and all the stages of grief. I lost my mother-in-law seven years ago to a brain tumor so it really brought back a lot of those old memories. I am looking forward to the sequel. I would recommend this for anyone that is just in the mood to read a really wonderful romance and have a good hard cry.

I was not expecting that! Oye! This kind of book is right up my alley, anything that makes me cry gets 5 stars. However I did need to deduct a star from the rating because of the annoying POV thing that everyone else has talked about. Normally I like a dual POV but this was downright obnoxious in the exact word-for-word replay from Christopher's POV. I would have much preferred she picked his POV up from where Jas's left off. That would have made this book more enjoyable to read. There were numerous typos and other contextual errors that were distracting and needed to be fixed.

BUT .... oh my stars. The plot of this book left nothing to be desired. I loved everything about it, it was SO SAD. I started bawling at about 80% and didn't stop until the last page. Then my eyes bugged out of my head. SEQUEL??? YES PLEASE!!! When??? I can't wait to read it. Poor Christopher, that was unbelievably tragic and I can't wait to read where life after Jas takes him. This was a great book if you can get over the previous things I mentioned. I will admit to skimming a lot of Christopher's POV. Loved it, 4 stars!

Loved the first book Incurable hearts and didn't think that this book would be any more emotional but wow it was.
This follows Chris trying to move on after the love of his life Jas is no longer with him, then comes a surprise , one which Jas knew but never told Chris, how do you cope knowing that the person you loved more than anything kept secrets?
An emotional and sometimes heartbreaking journey, hard to review in order not to give away spoilers but cleverly done as is in 3 parts and spans a lifetime.
Refreshing as there was no easy moving on in this as Chris's love was so total for Jas that he didn't need to move on in the same way as others, sad in one way but beautiful in another and I really liked this fact.Loved the other characters too.
Not a traditional HEA because of it he span of the book and I totally cried in many places but the ending....yes big ugly
cries and no sleep after for thinking about the whole book.
Well done, can't wait for future works x

My heart

Oh this book just tore at my heart. This was truly a beautiful love story. A timeless love. Yes, it was sad at times and there may have been a time or two I wanted to scream but aren't those qualities of a good book?

I wasn't sure how I would feel after I finished this story. I just knew it would rip my heart. I was even scared to finish it, but in the end, I'm grateful I finished. It left me feeling peace as I know he finally found his. Very beautiful.

I'm not going to tell you what the book is about. All I'm going to say is that you truly need to read and finish until the end and truly see this story for what it is, a timeless classic love story. You will not be disappointed.

Just make sure you have tissue at hand. ;)

Thank you to this author for writing such a beautiful love. My heart will forever hold this one close.

Beautiful story

I love reading romance novels and this one hit as one I can read again and again. It's a beautiful novel with epic eternal love and family.
I won't say much as I don't want to spoil the storyline for anyone. What I can say is that it's worth the time. There are some editing needs regarding spelling, correct use of words, and grammar but it wasn't enough to deter me from enjoying the novel.
Fair warning though...if you're an emotional person, make sure to have those tissues ready while reading.

Unfortunately there were lots of grammatical errors in this book, with the occasional word missed out of sentences!!
The story was told by the two main people in the story, part one by Jas and the second part by Christopher. However, I soon found that when I got to Christopher's part I realised I had read 90% of the exact same words in Jas' chapter. This was very annoying so I found myself skimming these parts. The storyline was ok though, but I won't be reading the follow up.

I loved the first one and thought this would be a happily ever after follow up but it wasn't. It was in its own way but it was wonderful and emotional. I cried and laughed and then cried some more. This one was more polished than the last and the point of view switching was better as it didn't re play every scene.
