Dionne, Sydney and Camille are three sisters with more drama than they can handle. Dionne's music mogul husband, Rod Knight, is having an affair with a stripper/rap artist named Peach. Sydney's turning thirty, and Lucas, her old flame from medical school is trying his best to get back in her good graces. It's going to be a long road for Lucas, because Sydney can't get the image of him cheating with her sorority sister out of her mind. Oldest sister, Camille has named and claimed a financial blessing straight from the throne of grace. So what if the blessing came from the Bingo table and the slot machine? That doesn't mean it wasn't God, right?
When the lies and alibis come to light and spiral out of control, it's going to take a lot of prayer to put everything back together again.

This was a great story of three sisters trying to find their ways. The characters were very interested and I could understand the demons that all the sisters were battling with internally. I loved how the author ended the novella in the perfect place to draw you in to wanting more.
Also this story proves that Love can help all problems .
I usually love her work but I'm disappointed in this one...her characters labor under huge clouds of disillusion...one is bitter, one is naive and the other has a gambling problem and is calling it God's will. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I'm going to finish the series and hope it gets better.
These sisters couldn't be more different. I'm really concerned about Camille, though - she's really working God's word to fit her narrative. I'd like to know Dionne's backstory; how did she help make Rod yet fade into the background? I like Sydney the most even though she's wishy washy. And does that much gossip and hanky panky go on in hospitals? Would love to see what happens to these three.
This was a good story. Ms. Warren did a wonderful job demonstrating three women living very different lives, facing different challenges. All three sisters are facing trouble in their love life, and all three fail to stand up to the challenge, choosing instead to duck out on their problems. But sometimes trouble keeps knocking at your front door and you have to answer it.
This book makes you ponder the "what-if." As women we often say what we would do if we were in a given situation. But it's easier said than done. Ms. Warren has you asking the question, what would I do if...truth is, if you've never been in the situation, you really don't know. I can't wait to read Pt. II, More Lies & Alibis.
5 out of 5 STARS & it's well deserved!! This was an awesome read, it grabs you from page one and holds your attention until the very last sentence. Hurt & Betrayed is what Deneice feels when her younger sister Janette calls and asks her to plan her wedding to Deneice's ex-boyfriend. Denial is what Janette is in, she downplays what her sister and fiance once had. Family & keeping a promise is why Deniece agrees and goes to her hometown to help her sister. LOVE is what she finds once she opens her heart, her mind & Breaks All The Rules she set for herself!!!
This book was filled with an interesting cast of characters. I adored the three sisters and their wild personalities. Tiffany Warren did a wonderful job of weaving Sydney, Camille, and Dionne's lives with normal trials and tribulations of relationships and marriage. Each side character played a part in money, or love woes of the main characters. Entertaining, and funny at times.
Lies and Alibis by Tiffany L. Warren. I truly enjoyed this book. Three sisters; Dionne, Sydney, and Camille struggling with some drama while trying to maintain their relationship. Dionne was in big time denial about her cheating husband, Sydney was a doctor that chooses not to love again after her boyfriend cheated on her 8 years ago, and Camille was a confused church goer that had the wrong idea about how God blesses people. Waiting for the next one….
The main characters are sisters, Dionne, Camille (Cami) and Sydney, who are church going ladies and hilarious as ever. I laughed from the first page to the last at their antics, family love and drama-filled relationships with their guys. I would recommend this quick and pleasurable read.
Lies and Alibis was a good, quick read from Tiffany Warren. Three sisters Camille, Sydney and Dionne try to juggle relationship drama along with life. Very relatable characters. I could not put the book down.
Three sisters, three different life styles all three looking for some kind of pay out whether it is love, money or marriage. We all want a good life and it is defined differently per person. I really enjoyed this and is looking toward to the second book of this series.
Dionne, Sydney and Camille are three sisters with more drama than they can handle. When the lies and alibis come to light and spiral out of control, it's going to take a lot of prayer to put everything back together again.
I loved this storyline. The author made you feel the pain of each woman. The drama was on point and it wasn't dragged out. There were a few grammatical errors but otherwise it was a good read. Will be reading more from this author.
Lies and alibis is a very good and quick read. I wanted more from these three sisters. In the short pages I found myself getting attached to the characters. I was disappointed when it ended.
If you are looking for something nice to read, then this is the book. It flowed very well and I liked the storyline. Going to buy book 2, so I can see what happened
Camille character is very interesting. Sydney represent a lot of women who have a profession but no one to share it with. Dionne....omg. Piece of work. These sisters are relatable in some fashion. Easy to follow.
