Vampires enthrall us. From horror to lover, vampires take our lives, our bodies, and our blood. The M/M erotic stories in this collection run the gamut. From historical past, present, and far into the future; science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary: it's all about the fangs.
So whether you like your vampire vicious or kind, dominant or submissive, hidden or out in the open, this collection has an erotic story for you. Short enough to read on the bus, hot enough to make you sweat, and every one a new surprise. Five M/M erotic stories are waiting.
Natural Adaptation: Humanity is no longer at the top of the food chain. When Vampires take over the world they must adapt to survive. Some serve, some become food, but others evolve.
An Executioner's Absolution: Bound by cold iron as a King's executioner, one vampire strikes a bargain for his freedom. He claims his next victim as a Servant rather than killing him. Now they're both on the run.
The Catch: Vampires prey on humanity from the shadows, reading minds and imposing their stronger wills over their food. On man stands against them, but tricking a creature than can read your thoughts requires the ultimate deception.
Mile High: At 30 thousand feet there aren't many places where a vampire can get his fix without getting caught. There aren't many men who would enjoy it, either.
Master Aviator: The military was supposed to be an easy place for a vampire to hide, especially at war. But when you're stuck on a boat in the middle of the pacific, things get complicated. This vampire needs someone willing to feed him again and again.

This book is a paranormal vampire m/m erotica with five short stories.
Stories one and three were absolutely perfect for what this genre (short stories) can and should be. Did they leave me begging for more? Yes, but that is exactly what a really good short story should do (imo).
I loved these two stories, Natural Adaption & An Executioner’s Absolution. I will re-read them. I will cherish them. I will buy anything the author publishes that is in either of these two worlds she created. Both these storylines and characters were just so fascinating.
The best thing I liked overall in regards to all the short stories combined, was the traditional vampire traits. No sparkles or glitter to be found here.
Story One - Natural Adaption - 5 Stars ★★★★★ Story Two - Master Aviator - 4 Stars ★★★★ Story Three - An Executioner’s Absolution - 5 stars ★★★★★ Story Four - Mile High - 3 Stars ★★★ Story Five - The Catch - 4 Stars ★★★★
I know the mathematical average for this is 4.2 stars, but I’m giving it a bump-up to 5 stars because I loved stories one and three so much.

In this erotic anthology, you will find five different stories all featuring vampires.
The first story, Natural adaption, was my favorite. It had a vampire called Tarel, a ruthless, beautiful and powerful vampire who regards humans nothing more than a meal or, if they are extremely lucky, a servant. There are some exciting characters here and many interesting ideas that I would have liked to see more fully developed. The conclusion was a little confusing, but perhaps if you think long and hard about the title and what happened in the story, the answer might just be there. A sexy little story that I very much enjoyed and a charismatic vampire I will remember.
My second favorite was ‘An executioner’s absolution’, the third story. I very much liked the idea of using a captured vampire as an executioner and the way the story unfolded, even though the D/s undercurrent was rather inconsistent.
There is a D/s theme here throughout the anthology, but it is fairly mild and apart from the second story, it isn’t consistently applied. I believe this is something the author needs to work on if she intends to capture the interest of BDSM fans with this anthology. Still, the D/s undertone is there and if you are looking for mm erotica that has an intense, dark feel to it, you will probably find this anthology enjoyable.

Five very short (around 6-12 pages each) stories showing a glimpse of the day in the life of a vampire. Each take place in different situations and tantalize you making you want more by the time you get to the end of each short story. They're a bit like excerpts and can probably easily become novellas in the future.
The ending of the first left me curious. The second was sweet and I was interested in getting better acquainted with Leon and James. I loved the feeling of vulnerability, longing and want James portrayed. It hooked me for sure and I would love to read how their relationship started out. The third gave what I wanted from from the previous story. I liked the characters too and I wouldn't mind if the author wanted to expand on the story. The fourth one intrigued me. I was interested in knowing why Paul memory was being erased besides the obvious. He didn't really seem the type to blab. And then he gets Victor's business card, it just kind of seemed counter productive. The last one featuring the hunter was exciting.
I don't read a lot of vampire themed stories. I'm a shifter lover so I tend to lean towards those books. I wasn't expecting to like these stories as much as I did but I was pleasantly surprised by them and really liked four of the five stories. I wouldn't mind if all of these were turned into novellas. They were fun reads and the characters featured in them were kind of likable (kind of because it's so short).
Who doesn't like vampires? If you don't, lose my number...we can't be friends anymore. :)
This book included five short vampire m/m erotica stories. Very short, but very hot. About as hot as Eric Northman sitting on a Swedish mountain in the sun...and then bursting into flames hot!
If I said picking a favorite is like picking a favorite child, I'd be lying. I know which child is my fav... I liked them in this order:
Story 1: Natural Adaption - Why did it have to end so soon! I about killed over when the story ended. I would love to see this turned into a longer novel (even a novella).
Story 3: An Executioner's Absolution - Would also like to see a longer version of this.
Story 5: The Catch
Story 4: Mile High - Clubs are awesome :)
Story 2: Master Aviator

I've always had a fixation with vampires, so knowing that this was about precisely that I had to give it a shot.
This is an anthology of 5 stories. The reading is short and perfect for a bus ride, plane flight or simply for an afternoon.
Each one of the stories presents different vampires. Some of the stories, - two of them, to be exact- made me want to know more about the vampire and their "prey", and I kind of with the author wrote more around them. Those stories were 1. The first one, with the blood addict and I think the fourth one, which takes place in a plane.
I enjoyed this little short. It was a nice, hot, quick read. :)

This book is filled with bite-size erotic M/M fiction perfect for a slow lunch or a quick night cap.
There are five stories, each about ten pages long, with varying time frames within a world where vamps exist. Each explores a single scene between a vamp and his target. Despite the short format, the stories feel well-developed with a quick world build and rapid plot. In some cases the two males know each other, in others it's a first meeting. In one story the vamp was rather meek, allowing his blood source to dominate him sexually--that was a fun twist. In most of the stories I was intrigued to want more.
In total it was a guilty pleasure read I very much enjoyed!
Vampires! How do you want them? Well in this little flash anthology, you have them in many forms, all of them sexy. Some more than others, all have some playfulness adding fun to the erotic part and in my opinion a lovely anthology for fans of the genre.

This was a quick but enjoyable read. Some I like more than the others but there wasn't one story that I wasn't interested in having more of a extended story. These story are seriously snippets of world of vampires. I sort of move away from this genre and I say this was a great choice to ease my way back into the genre. The last two story were my favorite and wouldn't mind reading more story like that.
The book lives up to its blurb and claim of giving you all kinds of vampires.
It also lives up to its genre. The plots are unique. The characters are intriguing even as small as the stories are. It's a delight reading Tami's words.
I really enjoyed all the shorts. They're all the kind of stories you'll be waiting on pins and needles for.
Really well written. Don't miss it. They're amazing stories.

This book is a collection of five short erotic m/m stories about vampires. All five are different in tone. The author does a great job with the twist at the end of each story, too. But most of all, except for the second story, she has a good balance of sex to plot with the sex not only being hot but also an integral part of the story line. That’s not an easy thing to do.
(~11k words)
Natural Adaption (~3400 words)
Vampires have taken over the human world except for one city. This story takes place on the eve of taking over that last city. The main character, a vampire named Terel, is to lead the attack. The vampires are cruel and ruthless masters. Humans are thought of as meals, a few ‘lucky’ ones acting as servants. I was actually taken by surprise in the opening of the story by Terel’s request for a meal and how that scene played out.
Although a short story, we quickly get a feeling for how the vampire hierarchy is set up, with the BroodQueen in charge, having vampires and humans enthralled around her to diminish the possibility of a takeover by another clan leader. Terel is a powerful vampire but has managed to keep himself from being enthralled. By her making him the leader of the attach, however, she’s made him the Prime vampire. The author does a good job of ‘showing’ us that being the Prime vampire is a high honor, a position of power over the rest of the clans.
When Terel asks for a meal later in the story, things go differently than with the first meal. The sex is hot – I have a thing for vampires biting in places other than the neck. The end wasn’t anything I expected, and I like a writer who can take me by surprise. She managed to do that several times just in this one story.
There are a few typos (breath instead of breathe) and missing words, but not enough to diminish my enjoyment. This story gets 5 stars.
Master Aviator (~1900 words)
Although I liked this story I was a bit confused by the interaction between the two main characters. This was also pretty much just a sex scene and no plot but it was an interesting scene so I didn’t mind there being no point to it other than hot, hot sex.
Taking place in the locker room of an aircraft carrier, James feeds on the pilot, Leon. I’m not sure if my confusion about their relationship is actually because James is confused about what Leon wants. At first, it appears that Leon is feeding James out of necessity and isn’t enjoying it. As things progress, suddenly Leon is no longer reluctant and becomes a willing participant. Since the sex is hot and there isn’t much of a story here, I didn’t really spend time trying to figure these two characters out. I’d have liked a bit more detail on how these two know each other and how they ended up on an aircraft carrier. 4 stars.
An Executioner’s Absolution (~2700 words)
This story was fun to read, the only one of the five with some humor in it. Taking place in a medieval type world, the main character, Tiger, is to be put to death by bloodletting. The story opens with Tiger standing, blindfolded, on the executioner’s platform. Tiger strikes a bargain with the executioner but the results aren’t exactly what Tiger expected. Another story with several twists and hot sex, deserving of 5 stars.
Mile High (~1250 words)
I loved this story. Shortest in the collection but still interesting. The main character, Paul, makes a weekly business commute via plane to Milwaukee. On this particular flight, he sees a young man boarding and thinks the man looks familiar, but when the young man smiles at Paul, Paul realizes he doesn’t know the other man. I don’t want to spoil the surprise ending of this one, but because of the title, I don’t think I’m giving anything away by saying the bathroom sex was hot. This is a story I’d love to see continued. 5 stars.
The Catch (~1475 words)
Dean, the vampire hunter – I would have named the main character something else, because all I could think of as I read this story was that it was a Supernatural fanfic. That’s unfortunate because I thought the story was great. The sex was hot and sensual and the twist at the end shouldn’t have been a surprise but it was. I’d love to read more about this hunter’s adventures, just give him a different name. 5 stars
Conclusion
Ultimately, how great a book or story is, is only one part of what gets me to buy it. Cover, price, formats, and whether I have read other books by the author also comes in to play. The cover of this book is simple, implying the darkness that goes with vampires. It’s also available in various popular formats and ebook vendors. The pricing may put some readers off, though. $2.99 for 11,000 words is somewhat expensive. I normally wouldn’t buy something so short for such a price. Another two or three stories added to the collection might make the price a bit more palatable; however, I’ve read some of the author’s other works and because of that, I would pay the price to have these stories. If you love a good vampire tale and haven’t read this author before, you won’t be disappointed buying this collection.
OT: The author just released a new story today, Stealing Serenity. I’ve already bought my copy.
Five heated vampire m/m stories that stay true to the erotic but dark tradition of lusty and deadly lore
Five short vampire male / human male erotic stories, with a nice edge. I normally read romances, which these stories are not, but I very much appreciate these stories that remain true to the erotic, dark, and deadly lure of vampire leering and lust.
Natural Adaption - As a romance reader, the general feel felt familiar to me, if somewhat darker than normal. It's really a vampire tale that draws upon the appeal of those creatures of the night, including a nice taste of non-romantic sensuality for those who like the physical draw. As there is no real protagonist, the ending is nicely more speculative rather than a typical "happy" (or unhappy) ending, but appropriate for a vampire tale.
Master Aviator - A very nice story for those who like to see some control exerted in a coupling. Very short with so much promise for more.
An Executioner's Absolution- Short, dangerous, sweet, and hot tale of bloodletting and a bit of political intrigue. Another quick and interesting read that leaves the reader wanting so much more.
Mile High - Quick, heated, and definitely vampire appropriate story. A mesmerizing tale set in the highest height.
Th Catch - Very hot and dark with an appropriate, prostate probing twist.

A very short yet entertaining read including five short stories about vampires. Each story represented a different genre as well as varying views on the vampire culture.
The author accomplished much with few words and I felt each story was complete and polished. None of the stories were vampire/vampire, rather vampire/human and which one of them was actually in control wasn't always clear.
While the quality of the stories didn't waver and the writing style was nice, I felt none of the stories truly captured my interest, with the exception of the second one. I've never come across the concept of a vampire's Sire being a human and thought that was something I'd like to read more about, as it would provide variety to the traditional setting of vampire stories.
Three stars and a thank you for the author as well as the DBML program for the opportunity tp read this anthology.
Some original looks on vampires and vampirism, and great world-building. The stories were a bit too short though - they were hard to get into because it felt like there was something missing - like the first chapter was cut out. It was still a pretty cool read, and the sex was hot, if not outstanding or anything. There are 5 very short stories, which all take viewpoints on a fairly original concept of vampirism. If you are interested in vampire M/M reads, then this *MUST* be read! The idea of 'sire's, etc may not be new, but they are dealt with in a good way here, and I'll be re-reading it in the future!

Wasn't sure what to expect with this short anthology but as kinky vampire erotica it was really good.
The first story was the longest and least satisfying. I'm sure something profound happened at the end of that story but I couldn't figure it out so it's by far my least favorite. But I enjoyed the others, from a navy pilot and his vampire, a king's son and his "executioner", a business man and a man on a plane that he just can't quite place, and a vampire hunter with unconventional methods.
Great writing and extremely hot. If blood kink is your thing, then I'd highly recommend this collection.

I love vampire books and was really looking forward to reading this but I found each story to be too short. There just wasn't enough world building to make many of the stories work for me. Too much was left to the imagination and to be honest it just left me confused. If the author was to expand on the stories I think they could truly be very interesting and would happily re-read them at that point.

If you are looking for a quick m/m erotica fix with a little bite then this is the book for you. Each short is very well written and pulls you in quick and lets you go way too soon.
At the end of each short I wanted more of the story. It was like reading a chapter from five really good books. And what I like most was that the vamps were all very different in each story and none of them sparkle in the sunlight ha ha...

This a series of flash erotic fiction so if you are looking for closure on the stories you wil not get it. I hope the author expands on each of these stories because while they are all good to read they just don't feel finished. I probably could have rated higher and wanted to because I love Vampires but the unfinished nature of the stories took some of my pleasure away. these stories are all different and bring something else to the vampire mythos to light.
I'm terrible at writing reviews, I will say this though. OMG! So hot, so readable. It took me two days to read, but only because I had to work and I can't have my kindle out all the time. In fact, I bought it twice, because my phone wouldn't sync with my computer. It's that erotic. I can't wait to read more of what Tami writes.
This was given to me free by the author for an unbiased review. This is a collection of 5 very short stories, each one entering around vampires. The stories each were set in a different time. I did enjoy the book but thought that the stories should have been longer. They all seemed to end just as the story got going. If this author wrote any more vampire MM books, I would certainly read them.
