My 6 year old daughter’s review “My name is Lennon and I liked this book because it has ponies. And because the ponies went to the volcano, and that they were friends. I also liked the book because the ponies are friends and they work together nicely.”

5 higher-level thinking discussion questions: 1) Would you be as brave as Pippa and Princess Stardust was? 2) If you had to go on a journey like Pippa and Princess Stardust who would you take to go with you? 3) Do you think Pippa and Princess Stardust was brave? Why or why not. 4) Have you ever had to do something that was difficult and you had to be brave? If so, explain what it was and how you got through it. 5) Have you ever had to help someone when they were going through a hard time? If so, how did it make you feel knowing you were helping them.

I liked it so much, and it was cool that at the end the volcano ponies found out they shouldn't trust the bad guy. And then they had a big party that was very cool. I love my Nana lots since she read it to me. I wish I could read the next book, but it looks like this was the last book. I haven't read the books before it. I read the last book first, so I'm going to read the other books.
In this sixth and final entry in the popular Princess Ponies series, Pippa, Stardust, and their friends are in a race against the clock. It’s Midsummer’s Day and they still have one last horseshoe to find. Without all seven of the horseshoes, the magic and love they capture from horse and pony lovers around the world can’t be renewed by the Midsummer’s Day sun, and the magic pony island of Chevalia will cease to exist. To recover the missing horseshoe, Pippa and Stardust will have to go to the one place they haven’t yet looked, the Volcano at the center of the island. After a difficult journey they reach the center of the Volcano, where they discover an enormous castle owned by the evil Mistress, and guarded by her Night Mares. With the help of the Crown Ponies, Stardust and Pippa foil the Mistress’ plan to destroy the ponies’ island. If you are looking for a book with a complicated plot, substantial theme, and well-developed characters, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you know a young reader new to chapter book fare, who is head-over-heels for ponies, unicorns, and the color pink, than this series may be just the ticket. Bonus materials include a “magic” horseshoe, interview with Pippa and Stardust, and a special letter from Pippa to her pony friends after her return to her family.

Do not be fooled by the glitzy cover, this is not a dizzy book but one that's well crafted.
This is compiling story with adorable illustrations that any young reader would love.
I had a pony when I was young and she wasn't one but nice! Maybe I'd have been better off if I had gone to Chevalia, an enchanted island where ponies and horses rule, i could have gotten a new one!
Every chapter is peppered a fun story line and dotted with pictures - there's even a horse shoes at the end of every page.
