I loved the Seedbearing Prince Part I; I love the Seedbearing Prince Part II just as much! DaVaun keeps the action, excitement and adventure going in this excellent sequel. The main characters evolve in ways that are unexpected and engaging, and the Thar'kur are terrifying and formidable foes. I'm eagerly awaiting Part III. Keep up the excellent work, Mr. Sanders!

I was under the mistaken impression there was only two books to this series so when it became obvious this wouldn't end things I was annoyed, but frankly the story was so good I got over it and am eagerly anticipating where Sanders goes next. Finding out the real history of the broken worlds is startlingly emotional and makes the "worlds-as character" attempt here even more impressive. The central character continues to impress in both the slow and real changes experience is forcing him to. As well, the supporting characters shift and become greater people in their own right, a point not many authors can do well. The ending is satisfying, brutal, darkly foreboding and with just a smidgen of goodness to make me want to raise my fist and tell Sanders to get on with the writing.

A book of visions for warrior poets. A wild adventure for action lovers. A manifesto for a more loving and inclusive society. 'The Seedbearing Prince: Part II' is all of these plus being a magical gateway to a visually stunning new universe. Leaping into the torrent with Dayn Ro'Halan, what an experience!

DaVaun Sanders is an imaginator, fuelled by dreams, mixing transcendent beauty with intense horror. His writing power lifts the reader out into the wild universe of the World Belt. Each planet depends on the others, they all fulfil a vital function and survive together. The World Belt is under attack from the jealousy and spite of the fearsome Voidwalkers, destroyers of love and beauty.

At the end of 'The Seedbearing Prince: Part 1', Dayn was trapped in the transparent underbelly of a fleshweep, a creature created by the Voidwalkers and as gross as its name suggests. As you can see from the brilliantly made cover of this book. None survive this experience. Will Dayn?

I'm not going to plot spoil, but I can say that Lurec, the bookish Preceptor and Nassir the powerful defender set out on a mission to find Dayn. The journey of the transport (the World Belt version of a space ship) through the torrent is one of many amazingly described experiences that kept me fixated on this book. None of which I can mention without giving away secrets. Well, perhaps I will just mention the Rage Hawks chamber and the magical tree that, for me, was the essence of all magical trees that have ever been written about. And the epic battle.

Fetch me a Rage Hawk, I want to join the battle. Hurry up with 'The Course of Blades', DaVaun Sanders, I need to know what happens next!

Fantastic!

With the capture of the Seedbearer, Nassir and Lurec must attempt to save him and prevent the triumph of the ancient enemy!

In Part II of “The Seedbearing Prince”, DaVaun Saunders continues the engaging and rather unique tale of the Belt World. With the many cultures introduced in the first novel I wondered if there could be room for more, but the author incorporates these new characters effortlessly into the storyline. We also learn about the origins of the World Belt and the Thar’Kuri enemy!

Like the first novel I found it very difficult to put down as I immersed myself in this rich and complex universe. Overall this is another well written adventure which I would recommend to fans of Science Fiction and Fantasy!

I must honestly say I did not like this book as much as the first. I have not liked how the main character is changing. I will continue to follow the series. This book was good but the first was better. This book also had more creatures that reaffirm my opinion that I would not recommend this book for anyone under twelve and possibly not for anyone with a really good imagination. There were a couple of times I was reading late that I felt a little disturbed. That in and of itself would be a sign of good writing so kudos to the author. The Weeps still make my skin crawl if I think of them too much.

LOVED IT! The ending to Book 1 had me totally engaged. This book adds layers and drama to an already engaging story. I fully enjoyed meeting all the new allies and enemies in the new quarters of The Belt. Following Dayn through each new challenge and hoping that he would be able to fight off the growing inner darkness was all consuming. I read this book in a single afternoon! I've already started Book 3 and am looking forward to see how this all ends.

Loved it!

What can I say? I'm totally hooked. Part 2 is everything I expected and more. The development at the end left me stunned, and worried about my fictional godson Dayn! Eager for Part 3!!! Bravo, Mr. Sanders. 😍
