This one appeals to both my three year old who starts to boogie every time we read it and my one year old who delightedly steals the book from my hands to run around the room with it while laughing. For the joy you brought my family here are five stars and a thank you from my heart.

Fun to read, a little younger twister-y. A lot of the kids love it, but there is nothing learned from it.

2015- This one we are going to have to buy. HAVE to. He was obsessed. I'm pretty sure the first day we pulled it out we read it 36 times. He stared at it that night on the last page till he went to sleep... Brandon said it felt like a good 5 minutes of solid staring. It's not very expensive on Amazon so we're going to get it next order. I'm sure it's a mix of simple words, bright colors, funny animals and my dance moves that makes it so great. I highly recommend bouncing him wildly on your lap on the last page as you read it! It totally made the book.

2021-Update. We've been cleaning out all the board books (my son is now 7) and has outgrown them. We read this for the last time last night. What a wonderful memory to come back here and re-log it and read my old thoughts on it. Who knows what will light up a baby's face and why, but for whatever reason, this one was beloved. It's hard to let them go! But having the "one last read" was a good way to say goodbye!

A lively board book full of animals moving and grooving in different styles.

The vibrant digital artwork brings Lisa Frank imagery to mind and the language of the book is heavy on near rhymes, a great phonetic read.

Great read aloud for babies and toddlers. I loved all the dance lingo; delicious!

I blindly picked this up from the library because someone was about to wander off and get into trouble. And that certain someone loved it. I liked it because it had the cutest pictures of animals dancing. My friend loves sloths and it shows two sloths salsa dancing. Pure win.

Baby loves this one more than I do, but the art is plenty fun. Plus, the toucan can can-can.

I like the quirky rhyming methods for this series of books. Very enjoyable to read to my baby (who certainly does like to boogie)
