Boogie on down with baby in this lively companion to the board book hit Baby Loves to Rock!
The chicks can do kicks, and the toucan can cancan. But who loves to boogie?
Filled with funny puns and rhymes about a variety of comical animals getting groovy, this board book will delight dancers of all ages. Wednesday Kirwan’s humorous text and colorful illustrations ensure that this adorable follow-up to the board book hit Baby Loves to Rock! will win any dance-off.
This one appeals to both my three year old who starts to boogie every time we read it and my one year old who delightedly steals the book from my hands to run around the room with it while laughing. For the joy you brought my family here are five stars and a thank you from my heart.
A book filled with different animals boogying to their rhyming dance moves. The illustrations are colorful and the pictures are funny. Such an adorable board book!
2015- This one we are going to have to buy. HAVE to. He was obsessed. I'm pretty sure the first day we pulled it out we read it 36 times. He stared at it that night on the last page till he went to sleep... Brandon said it felt like a good 5 minutes of solid staring. It's not very expensive on Amazon so we're going to get it next order. I'm sure it's a mix of simple words, bright colors, funny animals and my dance moves that makes it so great. I highly recommend bouncing him wildly on your lap on the last page as you read it! It totally made the book.
2021-Update. We've been cleaning out all the board books (my son is now 7) and has outgrown them. We read this for the last time last night. What a wonderful memory to come back here and re-log it and read my old thoughts on it. Who knows what will light up a baby's face and why, but for whatever reason, this one was beloved. It's hard to let them go! But having the "one last read" was a good way to say goodbye!
I blindly picked this up from the library because someone was about to wander off and get into trouble. And that certain someone loved it. I liked it because it had the cutest pictures of animals dancing. My friend loves sloths and it shows two sloths salsa dancing. Pure win.
