Transition volumen between arcs

Y se terminó el arco, al final destruyeron la puerta y por ende cada persona y dragon volvió a su tiempo, simple pero ya que igual me gustó.
Lo de Ultear quedó tal cual, osea sacrificó su vida por el minuto que obtuvieron los demás pero al menos ya se reconcilió con ella misma y al fin puede estar en paz. Ahora solo quedan Meredy y Gerald en su gremio. Gray también, que supo lo que pasó.
Por lo demás tuvimos un guiño para la batalla final, donde se ve Zeref y la pequeña Me is.
Y ya una batalla empieza, el grupo usual más Wendy responden a una misión de uno de los grandes magos Santos, que sorpresa! Acabo siendo uno de los primeros miembros de FT junto a Mavis jeje. En esta nueva misión, los gigantes están congelados vivos, se deben salvar hay un gremios que caza tesoros y un gremio oscuro en las sombras y ta dah minerva esta ahí.
También hubo un capítulo extra, algo más "relajado", por lo menos para Wendy y Kana xd

Los dragones me generan demasiadas intrigas, y es de lo que más me gusta de Fairy Tail. Sin dudas este arco es uno de mis favoritos del manga. Se vienen tiempos bastante oscuros por lo que veo, y todavía quedan cositas a resolver con los matadragones 🐲

Well, the grand magic games are over (even if they hadn't finished up, I imagine the events of the last book would have wrapped things) and while we get a really nice wrap up for some of the guilds and characters we met during that arc. But in the end, it's time to go home and get back to the business of being a guild.
And business is good. After the events of the games, business is booming for the Fairy Tail folks. Not only are people asking for the guild, but for specific members made famous by their actions during the games. And among the people requesting Natsu and Gray is an older man with what I think is a really cool power, control over plants. We've seen it a few times before, but he makes it seem so gentle and effortless.
His job? He wants Fairy Tail to fix a nearby village where things have gone terribly wrong. But he has an ulterior motive for his request...
I love these start-of-a-new-arc volumes. They let things reset and relax a little. But I'm already intrigued in what's behind the mystery of the village. :)

Finished! It took so long time to finish reading this edition. The ending was fine. However, I feel disappointment a little because my lovely Bacchus wasn’t a key person and also he did not appear many times😩 I wanted to see his battle much more. Moreover, I couldn’t understand a reason of Gray’s tears. Who is she? Porlyusica?

An OK conclusion to what was almost certainly Fairy Tail’s best story arc yet. It’s hard not to be a little frustrated by a bunch of weird inconsistencies or just bad execution on a variety of ideas.
I am glad that at least one of the arc’s major sacrificies wasn’t just rolled back and actually got to play out, even if its little epilogue seemed a little too much? But it appears to have had a lasting effect on one of the main characters, I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see for how long.
And then there was the rest of the volume. A ton of tidying up, a lot of which was quite messy in and of itself, a jokey celebration very clearly in the vein of One Piece’s that didn’t really land for me, a kind of reset to the status quo which... is fine, I guess. It’s just that I go to these types of series for the change in the worldstate and the characters. And, aside from some more borderline nonsensical foreshadowing, there just isn’t any of that in Fairy Tail? Or at least that’s what it feels like.
And then there’s the whole bathhouse scene, which... ugh.

I am totally addicted to this manga now. The character build is fantastic, their abilities expanding as they enter each new battle. Of course, who couldn't love the main characters. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Jellal, Gajeel, Levi, god I could be here all night mentioning them all. There is not one character in the Fairy Tail guild that I hate. And am super excited now that I have finally caught up with the rest of the manga reading world and can enjoy the new chapters released weekly now. :)

EN RESUMEN
Todos deben lidiar con las consecuencias luego de finalizado los Grandes Juegos Mágicos y la batalla contra los dragones.
ACLARACIÓN
Todos estos puntos están de alguna forma influenciados por conocimientos y opiniones que ya tenía sobre la historia gracias a la adaptación del anime y al ser esta una relectura.
ASPECTOS POSITIVOS
- La conclusión del arco fue bastante buena. Se cerraron las tramas necesarias y se planteó preguntas que Mashima resolverá luego pero que ya sirven para dejarte intrigado.
Como dije en el tomo anterior, me gustó mucho el trabajo en equipo de los diferentes personajes y creo que el autor supo darle a esas nuevas relaciones un final acorde.
- El principio del nuevo arco nos da el respiro que necesitábamos después de un arco bastante cargado. Es siempre oportunidad de comedia, mostrar a los personajes y sus relaciones, etc. Es un mini arco que me encanta porque me recuerda mucho al comienzo de FT, con el equipo Natsu haciendo trabajos más sencillos.

- Hay, como siempre, fanservise innecesario.
- A pesar de que este arco tuvo a Lucy en el centro del conflicto siento que Mashima no la utilizó demasiado y no le dio un momento más importante que su relación con Eclipse como maga celestial.
CONCLUSIÓN
Un tomo de finales y comienzos. El desenlace del arco de los Juegos Mágicos estuvo a la altura de lo que veníamos viendo y hasta dejó ciertos interrogantes interesantes. Estamos entrando en el respiro antes de que se desate la tormenta que es Tártaro.

Urtear left a last letter to Jellal and Merudy! Omg it was so sad yet beautiful. And said so much in such little words.
OH so Urtear didn’t die? The magic she used just took her time away and made her old?
The old lady who gives Jellal and Merudy the letter it’s Urtear? And then when she walks alongside gray’s carriage and he realised who she is and what she did for him?!!!! SOBBINGG
“Farewell…to those I have loved.” You will be missed Urtear😭
And that bring the Grand Magic Games Arc to a close!! Honestly I think that was my favourite arc so far! It’ll be very hard to top it hehe.
Omgg Warrod—one of the the wizard saints—was one of the original members of fairy tail?!! Awhh that’s so sweet!!
Erza was turned into a child??!!

Absolutely amazing conclusion to the Grand Magical Games arc. With finding out what can be done to end the battle, we see our heroes battle the dragons and save those around them. Lucy and Gray have some great moments in the beginning which I loved and tied things up loose ends well. Once the battles are over we see everyone celebrating the wizards and then Magnolia celebrating Fairy Tail. It’s great to have our characters appreciated to lengths they were throughout this volume. Now with that in the past our team heads out for a new mission due to the influx of requests since Fairy Tail is back on top. I’m definitely interested to see where this will go though nothing too memorable happy for me at least.

7 Dargons versus 7 Dragon Slayers!!! The epic battle comes to a meaningful and happy conclusion! One thing that I have said in the past and repeatedly will say is that the action is great but the little moments when the guild is joking, hanging out at a banquet or even healing from their wounds reminds me of those amazing X-men stories by Chris Claremount and they just truly make you love the characters more and more. Gray realizes the sacrifice made for him (see volume 39) and to me it is a special moment in the book. This volume is very enjoyable and really sets up the next adventure in this long-running fan-friendly series!

J'ai donc lu du tome 36 au 40. Et je dois avouer que ces tomes m'ont souvent fait sourire. Fairy Tail, c'est aussi une histoire d'amitié, et j'aime ce genre de moment.
Un petit frisson pour certains passages.
J'ai passé un très bon moment en les pages de ces tomes !

This volume finally concludes the Great Wizard Games arc! After destroying the Eclipse door, the dragons have been sent back to their own time. But Acnologia still remains as a looming threat.
Natsu, Happy, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and Carla have been sent on a job by a Wizard Saint—who turns out to be a founding member of Fairy Tail?!
Looking forward to the new story arc, this was a great start!

4/5 A solid albeit rushed feeling ending to the immense Grand Magic Games Arc. I wasn’t dissatisfied but with all of those giant dragons showing up to battle I thought it would have been bigger.
After that we have our nice few break chapters including a bathhouse chapter ::hubba hubba:: After that we’re onto the Sun Village Arc.

Die Zeitreiserei macht für mich keinen Sinn. Der Zeitpunkt, von dem Lucy zurück kommt, war das Tor doch defekt. Warum eigentlich? Woher sollte sie darum wissen, dass alles rückgängig gemacht wird, wenn das Tor der Vergangenheit geschlossen wird. Warum kommen in der Zukunft die 10.000 Drachen aus dem Tor und woher wusste Rogue was in der Parallel-Vergangenheit passiert ist? Lieber nicht noch weiter darüber nachdenken, sonst kommen noch mehr Fragen auf.

Que bonito todo lo que dijo ultear, al final se reconcilió con ella😭 aunque cada quien decide su vida, en parte fueron las circunstancias que se dieron desde su niñez, lo que la hizo hacer cosas malucas.. se me salieron unas lagrimillas

Finally, I reached the conclusion of this arc after several years lol. This wrapped everything up nicely and I am excited to know what the future brings for this series. That's all I have for now at the moment.

I really like Ultear, and wanted to read more about her. I think her arc deserves a five star.
Yet the new adventure is kind of disappointing. Hence only 4 stars for this volume.
